Das Haus wurde 2016 zu einem sehr hohen Standard renoviert und in den letzten zwei Sommern an viele glückliche Familien vermietet.

Unser geräumiges und komfortables Ferienhaus befindet sich in ruhiger Lage am Rande des mittelalterlichen Umgehungsdorfes Murviel les Beziers. Von hier aus erreichen Sie bequem das Meer, die Berge oder Seen sowie die umliegenden Weinberge. Mit vier Schlafzimmern (1 Kingsize-Bett, 2 Doppel- und 1 Zweibettzimmer) und zwei eleganten italienischen Duschräumen können wir 8 Gäste beherbergen (Reisebett auch auf Anfrage erhältlich). Alle Zimmer verfügen über umschaltbare Klimaanlagen (Klimaanlage im Sommer und warme Luft im Winter) sowie einen Holzofen im Wohnbereich für Aufenthalte außerhalb der Sommersaison.

Der Wohnbereich ist völlig offen gestaltet. Die voll ausgestattete Küche mit Gasherd, elektrischem Ventilator, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, hochwertiger Mikrowelle und amerikanischem Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach öffnet sich zum geräumigen Wohn- und Esszimmer mit gewölbter Decke. Mit ausreichend Sitzgelegenheiten, 50-Zoll-Smart-TV, Blue Ray-DVD-Player, CD / Radio und natürlich WIFI-Internetverbindung.

Unser großer Pool (10 x 5 m) ist von Loungebereichen und angelegten mediterranen Gärten umgeben. Der Außenwohnbereich verfügt über eine Toilette, eine Dusche und einen Küchen- / Wohnbereich mit Grill, heißem / kaltem Wasser, allen wichtigen Getränken, einem Kühlschrank und einer großen Arbeitsfläche, auf der Sie Ihre Mahlzeiten im Freien zubereiten können.

Neben der Küche des Haupthauses befindet sich ein weiterer Grill, der Ihnen zahlreiche Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten bietet.

Ein paar Minuten zu Fuß in das Dorfzentrum für Bäckereien (3 davon mit einem Café) Metzger, Bar / Restaurants und Pizzerien, Friseure usw. Ein Van mit frischem Fisch / Meeresfrüchten kommt am Freitag für Ihre Moules und Austern aus dem nahe gelegenen Etang de Thau. Mittwochs gibt es einen kleinen Markt mit Wurstwaren und frischen Produkten aus der Region. Es gibt einen Lidl-Supermarkt im Dorf, den Sie zu Fuß erreichen können, oder es ist eine weitere 2-minütige Fahrt von einem großen Super-U entfernt. Diverse andere große Supermärkte innerhalb von 10 Autominuten.

Die örtliche Winzergenossenschaft ist zwei Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und die köstlichen Weine können in Flaschen oder Litern gekauft werden! Es gibt zwei weitere Weinberge im Dorf, die Verkostungen anbieten, und mindestens eines in jedem Dorf, durch das Sie fahren. Das reizvolle St. Chinian, nach dem die DOP-Weine der Region benannt sind, erreichen Sie in 15 Minuten.

Sie können in 25 Minuten am Strand sein, in 5 Minuten im Fluss Orb schwimmen oder in 15 Minuten ein Kajak mieten. Es gibt einen Golfplatz in Beziers oder Lamalu (15 Minuten entfernt) und natürlich Béziers und Narbonne (wo Sie ein Boot für den Tag mieten und am Canal de Midi Pudeln können oder in den Kunstgalerien und Antiquitätengeschäften im historischen Pezenas stöbern können) . Alles weniger als 30 Minuten entfernt. Für weitere Erkundungen ist Carcasonne ein absolutes Muss. Nehmen Sie die Nebenstraßen durch einige malerische französische Dörfer und machen Sie unterwegs eine oder zwei Weinproben!

Oder lehnen Sie sich zurück und entspannen Sie sich einfach - es gibt viel Platz für alle, um einen ruhigen Platz zum Lesen, Schlafen oder was auch immer Sie möchten zu finden.

Wir haben unsere Ferienwoche sehr genossen. Das Haus ist perfekt.

Das Ferienhaus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand. Bei unserer Ankunft war alles bestens vorbereitet. Das Haus haben wir sehr sauber vorgefunden. Toll war vor allem der Pool. Unsere Kinder konnten den Pool ausgiebig benützen. Er hat auch eine sehr gute Grösse. Die Lage des Ferienhauses ist perfekt. Die Umgebung ist wünderschön. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten können besucht werden. Auch das Mittelmeer ist in einer halben Stunde erreichbar.

A relaxing stay

A very relaxing week's stay in a really lovely property. The house was very well equipped, facilities were great. The house is in a pleasant little village, 5 mins to any amenities one might need (gas station, supermarket, pharmacy etc). Recommend Carte Timbrée in the neighbouring village for nice meal out. Final point to make - the hosts / owners couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating with our last minute booking. Highly recommend!

Merveilleux séjour

La maison, la piscine, la vue, nous avons tout adoré. Le seule petit manque c'était le soleil sur la terasse. Il manqu'ait un parasol donc on a envoyer un message au proprietaire et quelque jours plus tards ils nous ont fourni un parasol. La communication avec les proprietaires était très bien et correct.

Fantastic House and Pool!

This region of France is absolutely stunning, we chose this house to use as a base to get to the coast as well other beautiful towns such as Carcassonne and Beziers. The house was well equipped and comfortable. The pool was absolutely perfect and we made full use of it for the 2 weeks we spent here. The owner Lesley couldn’t have been more helpful, and really quick to respond and answer any questions we had, as well as recommend some great places to visit. We loved our stay and would definitely come again.

Wonderful!

We (5 of us, mum, dad and 3 kids aged 9, 11 and 19) had the best two weeks holiday. Wonderful villa, the photo's don't do the property justice. The villa had everything that we needed, a really well equipped kitchen, perfect open plan layout and large airconditioned bedrooms. The shutters on all windows are brilliant and guarantee the best nights sleep. The huge pool was a massive hit for everyone. The property could easily cope with two families (8 people). The area is stunning, villa nestled in a small village (the local Lidl, 4 min drive, was very convenient as was the pharmacy opposite Lidl) surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards, you have the perfect mix of a rural and urban feel. Locals are very friendly. Beach, Valras Plage, only 25 min drive away is touristy but still very nice, we visited multiple times. Kayaking down the Orb is a must as is a bit of wild swimming in the river. Owners are very friendly and quick to respond to all communication. Will definitely return!

Aangenaam verblijf

Aangenaam verblijf gehad in deze woning. Stijle trap wat moeilijker toegankelijk is voor jonge kinderen of oudere die minder mobiel is. Voor de kindjes was er te weinig schaduw aanwezig aan het zwembad. Enkele parasols zouden dit makkelijk oplossen.

Lovely house in a peaceful location

The house felt like a warm, family home rather than just a holiday villa and is in a peaceful location within walking distance of the village. It was equipped with everything we needed, together with a good selection of books and games. There is a large pool which was much appreciated in the hot weather, as was the air conditioning. De fantastiques vacances

Nous avons passé 15 jours dans cette résidence cet été avec nos 3 enfants. La maison est extrêmement fonctionnelle et bien équipéee. On s'y sent tout de suite très bien. La partie piscine est parfaite avec la pool house toujours à l'ombre et très confortable. Les hotes sont êtremement sympathiques et réactifs et l'équipe qui gère la maison très dynamique et à l'écoute du moindre souci. Un magnifique séjour!

Fabulous Family holiday

The holiday property was exactly as described and perfect for our family get together. The house layout was good, everything we needed was there, beds comfortable with high quality Danish cotton bedding. Shutters and air con made it possible to sleep really well as the temperatures were quite high. The pool was great as well as outdoor facilities. All in all a great holiday, hope to revisit one day.

5 Star villa in a tranquil location on the edge of a quite village.

The villa is situated on a large secluded plot approached via a private drive and surrounded by similar properties. Internally, the villa has been updated and provides spacious open plan living accommodation. The furnishings throughout are simple but perfectly adequate. The kitchen was well equipped with all modern appliances and had a large range of utensils. During the second week of our stay the air conditioning was essential! Directly outside the living area the covered terrace is ideal for dining. The pool was very inviting but is not heated and was relatively cool during our first week. However, later on during our stay when daytime temperatures reached 40 degrees C it quickly warmed up and was very pleasant. The large gardens surrounding the property are mainly untended. The centre of the village is only a 10 minute stroll away where there are bakers, a butcher, and two a small general stores. These are complemented by two supermarkets just a short drive away. The scenery around the village is beautiful with mountains and vineyards and a good view of the whole area can be seen from taking one of two designated short walks up to a look-out point above the villa. Around Bezeirs there are a number of small interesting towns that are worth a visit and the nearest beach is at Valras-Plage (30 minute drive) which has beach shops and restaurants. We found the canoeing at Roquebrun was great fun and would definitely do that again even though we are a retired couple. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable two week stay and are glad we chose this particular villa for our holiday.

Beautiful, well equipped villa in great location

We just had a wonderful 2 week stay at the villa. We travelled as a couple with a 2 month old baby and had extra guest for some of it. Very accommodating and helpful owners who supplied a great welcome pack. There are 2 bedrooms on one floor and 2 up on the mezzanine with a bathroom on both floors so works well if friends/2 families. Rooms are all good sizes with modern features. There is no baths which didn’t bother us as 2 good quality showers. Very well equipped, owners have thought of everything! Lovely modern kitchen to cook in. Our favourite bits were definetly outside though, gorgeous summer kitchen where can relax in the shade, wonderful pool, comfy enough sun beds. On the edge of the village, can walk in to one restaurant which was ok quality, pizzas from the pizza wagon were great however. 2 big supermarket 5 min drive away and 2 bakeries easy 5/8 min walk away. Surrounding villages lovely. Overall a lovely stay. Thank you

Very well equipped villa in quiet village .

Village is a great base to explore the surrounding stunning countryside . The villa has all the amenities and a wonderful pool with shade when needed . Walking distance to bakers etc and supermarket 5 mins by car . The villa itself is an a very quiet street being protected from any significant wind by established trees. Plenty of opportunities for wine tasting nearby and for the adventurous canoeing on the river is available . Would certainly recommend it

Perfect stay in a beautiful villa.

We stayed at this beautiful property for two weeks in August. I'm pleased to say that the reality is every bit as good as the photos and description. The property is perfect for two families. With two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and the same downstairs we had a feeling of space. The living areas were also very spacious, so we never felt like we were on top of each other. The kitchen is very well equipped, it's clear the owners have put a lot of thought into the small details that really make a villa holiday. Outside the property has a large pool area, outside kitchen, bbq area and yet even more space. The pool isn't heated so it took us a few days to get used to the temperature. Around the pool is artificial grass, this was great as we had two younger children so we weren't constantly worried about them falling over. (Make sure you have flip flops though, the grass can get very hot in the midday sun!) The covered area by the pool was well used by us, especially as we experienced some very hot days. We loved the fact that the plot was very spacious yet secure. We loved the proximity of the property to shops in the village. The morning stroll to the bakery took less than 10 mins. There are at least two bakeries - we preferred the one that is further away but you have to get there early to guarantee croissants and pan au chocolat, but they are worth getting up for! The village also has a Lidl, pharmacy and restaurant. Other bigger supermarkets are only a short drive away. We also found a small park for the children again this was only a short walk away. We loved the area, so many great places to explore. The owners provided suggestions of places to see. Our personal highlights were canoeing at Roquebrun, swimming in the river, Friday evening food and drink festival at Pezenas and wine tasting in the many, many wineries. (Our favourite was chateau coujan just up the road from the property). There were lots of other lovely places to see and things to do. The owners were very approachable and responsive to queries. They are very knowledgable on the area which was extremely helpful. Our one top tip...brush up on your French, you will need to use it! All in all, a fantastic holiday... we hope to return

A spacious property with traditional external features but minimalist modern interior

Inside, the property was well equipped and spotless throughout. The large pool and surrounding area was excellent and the outside kitchen, barbecue and covered seating was much appreciated in the very hot weather we experienced. The owners were very helpful and responded immmediately to any queries, before and during our stay. The village was quiet but the shops within walking distance were very convenient and the two supermarkets, only a short drive away, made the 'major' shopping trips easy. Many interesting things to do within relatively short distances made this an ideal place to make a base for a relaxing but fun holiday. Canal de Midi, the beach, Roquebrun, Pezenas and the local wineries to name but a few!! Thanks, we had a great time.

After spending many years visiting various parts of France, we finally decided to buy a holiday home in the Languedoc, as it brings together all the best France has to offer. Great wines (you are never more than 10 meters from a vine it seems) lovely beaches, fresh food and produce
The house had been empty for sometime before we bought it, and it needed quiet a lot of work, however we fell in love with the pool and the location and decided to bite the bullet!

Set at the end of long drive on the edge of the village, you are a few minutes leisurely stroll to the village and all its amenities, however it is so calm and quiet you could be in the middle of the countryside.

The local wine cooperative is just over the road, and we are lucky to have 3 different wine producers in the village!
