Clean, comfortable and well appointed

We needed to check in early because our flight was rescheduled to arrive 2 hours earlier than originally expected. The host was very helpful. The area seems nice, but parking is tight because there is a school across the street. We had two cars, so the first person home had to park in the garage. Only one key and garage door opener was a problem several times trying to enter the 9 digit code in the dark. I would definitely stay again.

Liked the property itself a lot but...

We travel often & have stayed at many rental properties. However our experience with this property was unique. There were positives, but aspects of the property we were really surprised by. Pros: The pictures of the property are accurate. While it's small, it's clean & everything is in good shape. Washer/dryer REALLY came in handy. We had everything we needed at the property. We didn't cook, but we could have as all the basics were there. Cons: THIS PROPERTY IS NOT WALKING DISTANCE TO THE BEACH! The original listing said it was & this was why we chose this property. At best, it was a ~15 min drive to Newport Beach. When you are looking at the segment of the listing that lists how close the nearest beaches are, it's inaccurate. We looked at the proximity of the beaches to the house & the mileage in the listing isn't right. Also, you enter a code to get into the house. It's an electronic touch pad & very finicky. It went smoothly a small handful of times. The majority of the time we had to enter the code multiple times to lock & unlock the door. Lastly, my interactions with the owner made me feel like I was bothering her. Also she logged into Vrbo to message us rather than thru cell phones. It was super inconvenient. I had to keep logging into Vrbo to respond to her. Overall, property is nice, but not as convenient. Several things could have been made so much easier without a lot of effort on the owner's part. Also, the inaccuracies in the listing were disappointing.

Awesome property

We loved our stay! The location was perfect for us - we visited San Diego, Los Angeles, and Laguna Beach. We really only slept at the house, but it had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and everything was ver clean. We arrived late, and Lina was super responsive and made checking in super simple! I definitely recommend this property and host!

Amazing Listening Near Ocean

stayed during week of 4th of July, couldn’t be happier with our stay. was even more beautiful in person than described. very clean property, beds had fresh clean linens, well stocked with everything you could need. fresh clean ocean vibe decor. Owner/Host was very kind, attentive. communicated via text and let us know she was available for anything we needed she let us know area gets crazy during holiday week as far as traffic goes and told us to be safe. i felt like she truly cared about us as guests. my favorite thing about this listing is a framed piece of art in the hallway that looks like it was made by a child and professionally framed, its super cute. we would gladly recommend this listing to anyone wanting a good location for vacation. it’s conveniently located between Huntington Beach and Newport Beach, very short drive to either location. we will definitely be back!!! Thank you Lina for being so accommodating and sweet !!!😉🏖🙏🏻

Great central location

We enjoyed staying in this space especially since it was easy to get to many local beaches. We did have a rental car and it was great to have a garage space. The home is located across from a school so it made it more difficult to get in and out around school pick up and drop off times. Not a bad thing, just nice to know. The home was very clean, however upon arrival we noticed a foul smell and realized later it was from the garbage disposal that had leftover food still in it. One of the bathroom sinks backed up while being used, and it smelled a bit like plumbing. Also, it seemed strange to have large bottles of nearly empty shampoo/body wash, and hand soap. Again, these are minor complaints only to make the owner aware. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a great experience with the owner and space.

Excellent renovated home w/garage

This house was perfect for our needs with a small group of 3 people, and the renovation really adds an excellent touch. It was close by the beach and within relatively short driving distance from many of the big attractions (like Disneyland) in the area. The owner was on top of everything we asked. The renovated kitchen is very impressive, and it was nice to have 2 bathrooms and laundry facilities, as well as a 1-car garage, available for use.

Gorgeous remodel! The home has amazing air conditioning for those hot summer months. Plenty of linens, toiletries, and pantry items! All the dishes and pans you will need. Simple but adequate

Modern House Close to Everything

We just stayed in this beautifully decorated house for a vacation in Southern California for Christmas. Definitely close to everything ...beaches, shopping, and most of all Disneyland was only 20 minutes away. The house had everything we could possibly need for our stay and we loved the openness of the living area. Having 2 bathrooms was a big plus with my 2 daughters (no fighting for bathroom time). Plenty of linens (soap and shampoo too- what a plus!) and the beds were really comfortable. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone wanting a more affordable location but still close to the beaches. You definitely will need a car but ample parking is provided. Renting this house was a great decision for our family ..we loved it!

clean and cozy!

We enjoyed our stay here in Costa Mesa. The home is modernly renovated with updated kitchen, bathrooms, and wood flooring. The beds were very firm but comfortable to sleep on. There's a garage to park your car in, so that was nice. The kitchen had all the cookware needed but the pots/pans could use an update because everything else is so nice in the kitchen. There is a good amount of street noise because the home is across from a school and near a busy street do you can hear lots of cars and big trucks passing by during the day, but nighttime it is fine (not a big issue if you're out and about all day).

Absolutely beautiful remodeled home with all amenities needed.

This two bedroom, two bath home is beautifully remodeled with chic upgrades. The lay out is spacious. We loved the convenience of two bathrooms and a washer and dryer available. The home is equiped with a one car garage which was nice to have a place to store our vehicle. Close to grocery stores/gas station etc. 15-20minute drive to Disney area. We recommend parking at Toy Story parking lot if you will be visitng the parks. We found it to be easier and less congested then the garage parking lot. The home was fully equipped with anything you may need in the kitchen, extra linen and towels were available as well. We greatly enjoyed our stay. Wish we had more time to spend there but we were park bound! Lina was great to work with and quick in responding if needed. The property has a very small side yard if you are looking for a place for outdoor patio it is limited. We will definitely love to stay at this property again for future visits.

The house was beautifully set up, freshly remodeled, and well appointed with all necessities.

Conveniently located within a mile or so from the beach. Close to shopping and great restaurants in Newport Beach area. The house was immaculatly clean and well stocked. I have lived in Costa Mesa since childhood. This is the perfect location to enjoy all of the amenities of Coastal Orange County. It is at least 10 degrees cooler than the rest of inland Southern California and a quick drive to Disneyland and other resorts. I particularly enjoy biking to Newport Beach in the summer.

This home is located close to the beach. You can easily get on the freeway and drive to Disneyland in 15 minutes. South Coast Plaza is only 5 minutes away. If you don't have a car, no worries. Bus 43 will take you to the Front gates of Disneyland. The bus stop is a short 10 minute walk on Victoria and Harbor. The home has all of the modern conveniences in addition to tastefully designed living space with coordinated furnishings. Powerful air conditioning keeps the home cool during the hot summers, a rarity among homes in the area.
