This is paradise!
The resort may not be the newest and largest, but you can tell it‘s maintained with love — and that‘s what really matters. The garden is lush and gorgeous, the pool area clean and spacious, there‘s plenty BBQ grills and a laundry room. Having a huge and well-priced grocery store nearby, just like a fish market and a food truck park, was convenient.
Apartment 605 seems to have been newly renovated. It was nicely decorated and clean, it came with all amenities one could ask for, and the towels and bedsheets were amazingly soft. The apartment was a bit on the smaller side, but for two people the size was just right.
What really made the apartment feel so luxurious was the fact that it was located on the ground floor right at the ocean-front, allowing us to have dinner facing the breathtaking sunsets over the ocean. Believe me, this view is priceless and we have never had anything like this before!!!
The apartment even came with beach chairs, that we gladly used at the small private beach. Not only was this beach super convenient, clean and quiet (during low tide, that is), but it was a perfect spot of snorkeling and turtle watching. Seeing turtles was not a matter of chance — since it‘s a turtle sanctuary, we saw like a dozen every day!!
The Kuleana Resort and apartment 605 truly are a hidden gem — cozy and gorgeous. We immediately felt like home and it was hard to say goodbye at the end of our vacation.
