Great value. Lovely apartment
This is a lovely apartment with everything you need for a relaxing break. A south facing sea view from the balcony, plenty of room to spread out inside and out, a lovely pool area and walking distance to a few shops, bars, tea shops and a supermarket. The area is very peaceful too. It's not the last word in luxury- some of the fittings and the bedding are looking a little tired - but for the price it is great value.
Some things to be aware of:
If you arrive late at night like us you need to know the apartment is one floor up from the garage and the lift faces inwards. We took a while to work it out and unfortunately woke some neighbours. This is explained in the instructions found inside the apartment but not in the ones sent to us by the agent.
It is a VERY steep hill up to Peyia village centre and in the heat we found it too much.
We found great restaurants in Coral Bay but you need a car to get there.
If you have a car turn right at the bottom of the road and you will find Phillipos supermarket with everything you could possibly need. Much bigger and better stocked than the one in Peyia village.
There is a small gym on the property but if you're looking for something tougher Tower Fitness is only 15 mins walk (not too steep) and charges €8.50 day rate or €28 for the week. A very professional outfit with full weight lifting equipment and every type of machine you could need. It is also air conditoned. Next time I'll book in for the week.
