Keine Notwendigkeit zu langweilen. viel Wasser gibt es in der Nähe. Gehen Sie eine Angelschnur werfen, oder starten Sie Ihr Boot. Mag sich zu bewegen? Wanderung oder mit dem Fahrrad auf gepflegten Wanderwegen. Nehmen Sie die Pfade auf Schneeschuhen oder Langlaufskiern im Winter. Snowmobile-Trails sind nicht weit weg, auch nicht.
Herbst bringt Bogen und Gewehr Jagd auf Hirsche und der Türkei. Meißel ein paar Löcher in den nahe gelegenen Seen für den Winter Eisangeln. Frühling bietet mehr Truthahnjagd.

Weekend getaway

All of the outdoor activities is really what makes this place great. There are so many walking trails and neat little buildings to explore. Kids would love it. Lots of outdoor games. The fire pit is awesome. Best part for us was the hot tub. The inside of the house was very clean. It is very dated but is part of the charm. The outposts and buildings were neat but needed a thorough cleaning. I imagine it’s hard to keep up with the spiderwebs. Overall a neat place with lots to do.

The End of Summer Retreat We Dreamed Of

Daryl was incredibly communicative from Day 1 and gave us all sorts of ideas for activities to do in the area. The location was exactly as described and we felt that it was perfect for our family getaway. We all thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks, hot tub, frisbee golfing, fishing, playground, bonfire and the serenity and peace we felt in the pine forest. We want to point out how useful the maps are that Daryl provides through the cabin. They came in handy! We reached out with a question our first night and we had an answer within 20 minutes and were overall impressed. We will be back next year to check out one of your other properties! Thank you!

Great place for a getaway

If you want to stay in a quiet beautiful location then this is the place. We enjoyed walking the trails, kayaking, evenings in the hot tub and much more. The location is close enough to population to see the sights yet far enough away to enjoy the sounds of nature.

Great little place

This place is small, but they tell you that. Close to the lake, and short drive to the dells. I did a little tuning on some bicycles, but that is what beer and a firepit are for. You don't get all the kayaks shown in the picture, and there are a couple step and down areas that might catch you off guard in the dark. That is all that I can say that isn't 100% positive about our stay. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and management is very friendly and helpful. My granddaughter left her sweatshirts there, and Daryl got them to us within a week. I would highly recommend this property.

Outdoorsman's Paradise!

From the front of this beautiful property to the far back of the impecabbly maintained acreage no detail was forgotten by the owners. Daryl is the most personable owner I've ever had the pleasure of working with and I truly appreciate the labor of love he has put into this property. We're already planning our next trip!

Fantastic Property!

Our family chose this property for our semi-local spring break trip. Even though it was barely spring (about 50 degrees) we were still able to enjoy hiking, bonfires, and the hot tub! The kids were tired at the end of every day, and our new puppy was able to experience being off leash and in the woods for the first time. We highly recommend this property, especially in the warmer months when there is even more to do!

Birthday getaway

The cabin was so peaceful! The dogs enjoyed the snowy outdoors! The hot tub was the perfect touch as the porch was gated so we could relax in the hot tub and the dogs enjoy the stars in the night sky. Thank you for allowing us to stay as well as our dog kids!

north woods experience

The owner Daryl was very accommodating on all parts. We went there for our honeymoon and he set up some surprises for my wife when we got there, which was awesome. Answered all questions and stayed in contact to let me know everything was all set right up to the morning we left to go there. Everything was as expected when we got there, from the hot tub to the firewood. We brought our 2 dogs and they had a blast. Nice trails and accommodations, If you want peace and quite, this is your place. Deer, turkeys, fox and wildlife all over. We look forward to doing it again and I suggest checking it out for a nice stay

Perfection in the Woods

A week is not nearly long enough to enjoy this property. It was truly amazing. Each day we found something new. The dogs loved walking the trail each day, and the kids would have lived on the playground if we let them. Kayaks were an awesome bonus, we can not wait to see when the new large pond is completed!

We had a great getaway at this property. We have two VERY active three year olds so having lots of options for them to play was super helpful. Everything was convenient and private. We enjoyed ourselves and would recommend to other families.

Nice little getaway

Overall, the rental was great! The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is due to 1: pictures were a little deceiving. The rental looked bigger online than it did in person. The shower head was extremely low(meant for people 5ft or shorter). Lastly, the hot tub looked like it's in an enclosed sunroom in the pictures, but it's outside with a bug screen around it. Everything else was great! Everything worked as it should. Kitchen fully stocked with cooking supplies, the trail behind the property had great scenery, and the hot tub at the end of the day was the icing on the cake

Nice but with issues

I was looking for a quiet romantic get away in nature & mostly had that. Pros: beautiful woods surrounding with a trail in back leading to fun places, like the reading tower. Not only pet friendly, but they halved the pet fee because I have a service dog. My dog LOVED the space to runaround and explore without a leash, and she loved the big bed in the living room. The hot tub was nice too, though really chemically (turned my silver rings pinkish). Having the room of a king sized bed was nice too. The fire pit outside was the hi-light of the trip, not just for s’mores, we cooked a full meal on the swing arm grill. The giant play structure at the end of the trail would be great for kids. Cons: Cleanliness and smell issues. Let me preface this with the fact that I have a very good sense of smell. When we arrived there was an strong fake floral smell to the place. I thought maybe it was fabric softener or dryer sheets from them doing the bedding that day… but it wasn’t. By that night, as the room scent lessened, I smelled what it was trying to cover up. There were several places around the common areas where I could smell urine. One was while trying to sleep on the bed in the living room, it was definitely on one of the pillows I had. I swapped pillows around after that first night & was fine the rest of the week. I thought maybe the people before us were just gross, but through my stay I kept finding hidden car air fresheners, which makes me think it’s a bigger problem. Had to rewash several “clean” dishes too. The property is Misrepresented here. It says Futon couches, plural, in the living room, but instead has a recliner and a king sized bed. Nice for a big bed, but would not work well if more than a couple are staying privacy wise, and no couch to snuggle together & watch movies. If you want to sit together the only option is the hard wood benches around the table. You could sit in bed together, but the tv is to small and far away, plus the headboard isn’t comfortable to lean against even with pillows, so that didn’t work well. Next misrepresentation was in the shower, picture shows a shower head with a hose, but was a fixed shower head. The removable shower head was a selling point for me because I like a very thorough clean, but nope. The last noteworthy misrepresentation is the “large” flat screen TV. It would be large for a computer monitor… not so much for a tv these days.

BEAUTIFUL property❤️❤️Relaxation at its finest!

We had an AWESOME time here! We enjoyed everything this place had to offer. We hiked. We biked. Kayaked in the pond. Played disc golf. Enjoyed the hot tub. Played on the enormous play structure. We had several fires—cooked breakfast and dinner over the fire, roasted marshmallows and simply enjoyed our time together. Perfect place to get away. Peaceful. Relaxing. Fun. We will be back! Hosts were fantastic. This place is well stocked and has almost anything you could possibly need! Thank you for such a wonderful time!!!❤️❤️

Week-long getaway

We rented the cabin to get away from our every-day routine: get the kids ready for day care, work our day jobs - repeat ad nauseum. The cabin was just what we needed. Lots of space to play around outside with the kids, or go for a walk with your better half. Bring your kids to the massive playground at the end of the trail. It's about a 1/4 to 1/2 mile from the cabin itself, but it's absolutely worth it. Bike shed had tons of bikes for every age of rider (my three year olds rode the bikes with training wheels) Fully stocked kitchen made cooking a breeze. Bring your own food, but they had utensils, pots, pans, etc. available to facilitate the cooking. We didn't really use the hot tub that much but it was nice for a quick dip after the kids went to sleep. All in all, this was fantastic and I would love to stay here again. One last note: the cabin is definitely in the woods so it would be a good idea to bring mosquito/tick repellent if you're planning on venturing outside
