Great Stay!

Only two things I would recommend, platform bed frame so the bed doesn’t sink and maybe just better showerheads. But they weren’t deal breakers! Overall we really enjoyed this unit. It was our first time at PI, as we usually stay at the Islander. We’ve now been spoiled with 2 bathrooms and a washer and dryer. I’d stay again.

Nice condo with all amenities

Only thing this condo doesn’t have is a oven sheet/pan to heat up a pizza and no pizza cutter, besides that it was nice.

Summer Vacation

We always love this part of Florida, and this was our forst stay at pelican isle. I must say the online listing looked much more put together than the condo in person. It gave us a place to stay and that is most important, i just wish it would have been nice like the listing pictures.

The condo was just as described. Excellent location. Communication with property manager was great! For sure will be back! Only a couple repairs are needed Light in oven is out The ceiling fan in room needs replaced it is extremely loose and noisy. Almost wondered if it was going to fly off! lol Bed could use a topper! Check in and out was easy Parking was easy All. Around great stay!

Great!

Great location! You can see the beach from the balcony (there is ground floor parking, this is labeled as "Floor 1" but it is actually the second level up). You can hear the ocean! It is a close walk to the beach and the fact they include an umbrella and 2 beach chairs set up by the beach service is FANTASTIC! You do have to walk up and over the short bridge, so just FYI for anyone considering a wagon (leave it home). Clean. Beds were ALL comfy - even for the adults on the bunks! Mattresses were very comfortable. The couch was worn and decompressed. But everything else was wonderful!

Reviewer Comments: The condo is just above the garage and the floor never heats up in the winter and the luggage we had put under the bed had mildew when we left. Our clothing that was hung was also musty. Condition of condo and equipment not the best. Not comparable to many other places we have rented in Florida.

Spring break vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit had a beautiful view of the ocean and it was nice having the two beach chairs and umbrella provided by the unit. It was nice being so close to the beach and it was easy access to get on and off the beach. It was also nice to have a washer and dryer available in the unit. My only complaint was that the unit was very musty smelling and unfortunately has made all of our belongings smell musty. I had noticed the smell when we first arrived and had actually gone to the grocery to purchase a plug in to help with the smell. I thought it helped somewhat. I did wash all our towels and clothes before coming home but when we got home everything I went to put away had that musty odor and I have had to re-wash everything. The smell reminds me of going away to camp when I was younger. I would hope with more use, this unit would air out and would eventually not have that smell anymore. I would be hesitant to recommend this unit because of the musty smell and the very uncomfortable sofa.
