Exceptional Location

What a beautiful location! It was exactly what we were looking for. The view was amazing! We were able to walk to the grocery store, shops and restaurants. The three bedrooms and layout were perfect. John was responsive in getting two repairs done. Sure it could use some updating, but overall it was fine.

New Year at the Cliff

We truly enjoyed our stay at the property. The location was excellent, offering spectacular views and a wealth of amenities. It’s conveniently close to Mullet Bay Beach, with its own private beach, a sauna, steam room, exercise room, and a lovely spa.On the downside, the refrigerator didn’t work, which was inconvenient as we had purchased a lot of groceries. Although the issue was eventually resolved, it wasn’t an ideal start to our stay. Additionally, the property felt rundown and quite spartan, giving the impression that such a beautiful 5-star property isn’t being properly cared for.

Making great memories at The Cliffs

We had a great experience at the Cliffs, this condo was well kept, very roomy, well equipped, gorgeous views, beautiful pool and we really enjoyed the beach area and photo ops there. Very instagrammable! The location was great and having the secured parking was a huge plus. We would definitely return!

Beautiful Location

The property is awsome and has top notch amenities. The beach is beatiful and somewhat private. Easy access to shopping and groceries. Night life is a short drive. The unit itself was very nice however not lovingly appointed and I would not recommend staying in it if cooking is going to be a large part of your vacation plan.

Saved our Vacation!

We mistakenly reserved this unit for the wrong week and noticed it the day before arrival. Our mistake. The property manager worked with us and found a solution, saving our vacation! We were so grateful as he didn't have to and it was extra work for him! That was the best customer service in an age of none. Thank you!

Fantastic property and location

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Cliff. The location is close to local markets, shops, and amazing restaurants. We rented a car for our stay and used the free parking with the unit to easily get around but there are beaches and shops that are walkable. Our favorite part of the property was the Infinity pool and beach access. The views were stunning. The amenities on the property were great including- steam room/ sauna/ indoor pool/ pool table. The security on the property was personable and helpful. It made the stay feel very secure. The property manager and concierge were extremely responsive and accommodating for any questions and booking activities. Overall, we would definitely return and loved our trip to SXM. Thank you to John & Stacey.

The Cliff - 3 bedroom unit

My family and I recently stayed at the Cliff for a week long vacation over the holidays. Altogether we rented 4 separate units at the Cliff. I was impressed with the amenities at the Cliff. The beach, infinity pool, gym, and tennis courts were all very nice and well maintained. The staff at the Cliff was also very helpful and pleasant. The unit my family stayed in was a 3 bedroom unit (largest of the 4 total units we rented). We paid a significant premium for our unit to secure an extra bedroom. Relative to the three other (2 bedroom) units my family rented, the furniture and decor in the unit was tired and in need of upgrades. The refrigerator door sounded like it was about to fall off every time we opened it; and one of the sliding doors in a bedroom would not lock. The pictures on the website make everything look great, but in reality most everything in the unit felt cheap and worn. It would be nice if the owner put some money into this unit to make it more enjoyable and comfortable for future renters. After having seen the three other units, during our stay, it was very apparent that this particular unit needs some work.

Perfect Location

Beautiful unit with the most amazing view of Saba and the water. Infinity pool and nice little beach for swimming and snorkeling. Walk to Mullet Bay Beach, lunch at Kalatua, short ride to casino area and Maho Beach. Mario’s Bistrot restaurant inside the Cliff is AMAZING. Tennis court and fitness center were great. Indoor lap pool. Small organic market across the street is super-convenient. Order early AM delivery of fresh baked baguette and croissants to your unit. Full kitchen and laundry. Perfect spot for a great vacation.

Location, Location, Location!

We checked out of “The Cliff m after a 6-night stay. Our family loves to travel, especially in the Caribbean. We have stayed in Anguilla (LOVE) however, this was our first time in St.Martin. After deciding on the are we were most interested in, I researched villas, resorts, & hotels, ultimately deciding on The Cliff. Before booking, I contacted the property manager, John, to ask a few questions & express concerns over previous reviews. I made it clear that cleanliness and modern/updated accommodations are extremely important to our family. Three communications via email/text addressed this... & while the cancellation policy was still in place, I would rebook elsewhere if needed. John assured me that the furniture & bedding were to be updated. The Cliff is a gated resort in a great location overlooking beautiful ocean blue water. The layout of the 3 bed 3.5 bath condo was excellent. Mario’s restaurant was delicious! And location to town, restaurants, shopping, and beaches was perfect. BUT… Upon arrival the front desk couldn’t locate our reservation. After contacting the management company, they assigned our condo. Surprise- our unit on 2nd floor was not even close to being updated. Most of all of the furniture was worn, dirty, & dusty & in need of a good clean. Previous renter left bikini & personal hair in the shower.😳 John was snarky in his response saying "I should see the glass half full not empty"😱 Cliff was awesome but know the unit # before you arrive.

Excellent Stay in St. Maarten

Beautiful condo - amazing view, just above the gym and indoor pool. Outdoor new infinity pool is amazing. Cable TV is useful, internet works fine. Very helpful staff - found an amazing masseuse from Marigot who gave my wife and brother in law a lot of muscle relief. The toilets are a bit weak, but this wasn’t a major obstacle. One shower door is loose and should be fixed. Mosquitoes were not an issue as I expected. Air Conditioning works well in all parts. We will likely rent this condo again - we were very happy with our stay.

The Cliff itself is well worth the stay.

Regardless of the condo in which you stay, The Cliff itself is an amazing property located on a cliff (thus, the name) overlooking the Caribbean with excellent amenities, security, and privacy. Our condo overlooked the infinity pool and the clear, turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea - which was its saving grace. Considering the over all cost of the rental, the condo was in dire need of an update and a thorough, deep clean. For example, some of the kitchen appliances were in need of repair (the refrigerator ice maker didn't work) and without a garbage disposal, the kitchen sink backed up. Add to that, the kitchen wasn't as well equipped as we had anticipated (e.g., no sharp knives, a manual can opener, or a metal baking sheet). Also, the shower in the one room facing the tennis court backed up as soon as the water hit the shower floor, but we weren't made aware we could contact The Cliff maintenance staff with any repair issues. So, my husband took it upon himself to clean out the drain, from which he pulled a substantial amount of hair and gunk. Additionally, some of the furniture was dirty and a bit shabby. However, I am not saying we did not enjoy our stay. As three close couples, we managed to work around the inconveniences and cleanliness issues. Nonetheless, I do hope the owner reviews the validity of my comments and acts accordingly.

Amazing Place

The unit and the building are great. The unit has unobstructed and dramatic views of the ocean. The unit has plenty of space for a family of 4-5. While Cupecoy Beach is steps from the building, it does not have a lot of beachfront and is not great for an all day beach day. Fortunately, Mullet Bay Beach is a short walk and it has 2 good beach bars and places you can rent chairs. Additionally, there is an excellent restaurant inside the Cliffs called Mario’s. In summary, I would highly recommend the unit and the building.

Had a great time at the Cliff. Big plus with restaurant and gym on site. Location perfect to restaurants and beaches. Accommodations roomy. Stacey our Conceige took care of any issues we had in a very timely fashion and Johnathon was great at answering any questions and accommodating any issues we had. We would definitely return. Definitely check out the new Katalua beach around the corner at Mullet bay. Only opened a month ago. Great for a day of music, food and drinks.
