perfect location, easy access to beach, shops and restaurants. The views and pool and this home make it perfect! My only suggestion is to take out the tub in master bath and make shower bigger :)

Amazing house and Location

Loved every minute of our family vacation! The rental agency was great to work with! They made sure we had everything we needed, the pool was immaculate, and the house was clean and provided everything. It was a 3 minute walk to the beach which was not too crowded and very clean. The name says it all!

Very nice house! Great views of the ocean and sound! We enjoyed the pool and appreciated the covered area. The house was just a short walk from the beach access. Got some cool shells down by the pier around low tide. Thanks for the credit for the bikes! We enjoyed our week and definitely stay here again.

Great week!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. There was plenty of room for our two families. We loved the pool and hot tub and we used them often! The views from the top floor were amazing and the walk to the beach was quick. (It would have been helpful to have a "starter" welcome kit of paper products/dish detergent/soap/etc. - so remember to bring those supplies.)

Beautiful views and beach

All I can say is Wow! First time in outer banks area. Usually we vacation in hilton head, but the views and setup of home was perfect for our extended family. Lots to do. Beach, restaurants, and heated pool made our stay super easy with kids. This house is in our top 3 places and we would stay again when in Duck or outer banks area.

Duck duck views

Clean, plenty of room, great views, great neighborhood, pool & hot tub were great also. Downhill walk to the beach so a little challenging of a walk back to the house for any elderly guests. We brought beach chairs but there were plenty of them, boogie boards and pool toys at the house. We had to make our own beds upon arrival, which we've never had to do before! Quick drive or bike ride into town. Had a great time!

Great stay, Reliable help

We loved our stay in Duck! The home was clean and perfectly stocked for our needs. We also had an issue where the line to the Dish had been damaged and our TV wasn't working at check in. I emailed maintenance after hours and they had someone out from maintenance and then the Dish company the very next morning. Thanks for a great stay!

Great week!!!

We had a great stay at Duck Duck View! The name is accurate, from the top level, the views are absolutely amazing! The layout of the house worked perfect for us as we had kids ages 2-13, two families and grandparents. The pool, hot tub and cabana were enjoyed by all and the beach only about a 5-minute walk. Our only recommendation would be to have the basketball ball hoop repaired as it is really leaning. We had five avid players in our group that were disappointed in its condition and had planned some real playing time while there. Others than that, will plan to stay here again in the future.

Spectacular 360 Views of Duck

This trip has a been a highlight for our friends and family. The Location/living areas were clean but the only reason I didn't give it perfect cleanliness was because the outdoor shower area needed a refresher, due to all the dead bugs and webs, and the pool sticks needed a wipe down since they were sticky. Other than that everything else was perfect. The staff responsiveness was quick. The walk to the beach was easy and very close. The pool was a hit with everyone in the party as well. The main living room was a sight to be seen! 360 views of the neighborhood in duck make this an amazing space to spend the morning in. The brightness and energy you get from the amount of sunlight in the room gave us so much joy. Thanks for the Stay!

Excellent

There were a few issues noted upon arrival that were addressed within minutes. I was actually surprised when a maintenance person showed up while we were still unpacking. Two additional issues were quickly addressed as well. The house itself was perfect for our family and had everything we needed.The children in the family especially enjoyed the pool, movies and games that were available. The living room furniture was very comfortable, which has not always been my experience in a beach rental and the sitting room was a bonus. The large dining table was just right for our family although it could use some new seat covers there were tears and holes in most covers. One of the queen bed frames and mattress was ready to be replaced,all the other beds were fine. I would recommend Shoreline and this house.

June Vacation

The midges in the house the first couple days were rough. More than likely from the doors being left open from the cleaning crew. We werent able to enjoy the decks as the wooded area next to the house was infested with them as well as the carport. At night the hot tub and gazebo was tough to use with the lights on until we got some bug off candles. Dish washer went out so the last 2 days we hand washed. Overall though those are trivial things that on a different week i wouldn't expect. With a 2 minute walk to the sound and a 2 minute walk to the beach it was a perfect location. Plan to not go anywhere on a saturday as traffic is a mess. We would certianly rent again as there was enough space for everyone.

OBX Family Vacation

We had a fantastic vacation. There were 12 of us including 2 children. Home was beautiful! Huge windows all around the main living areas, lots of deck space and the pool was perfect! Cabana at the pool was great for those that didn't want to be in the sun and for our 7 month old grandson. The cabana had lights and a fan. Beds were comfy (even the twins). Beach was a very short walk down the road. Everything was very clean at arrival and we received a text that that house was available earlier than expected. We had to call for maintenance one time due to a tv in one of the twins that kept going in and out and they came the same day. We would definitely rent this home again. Views were like no other especially with this house not being oceanfront. You could see the ocean and sound from just about every room in the home. Any complaints we had were minor and things that would happen at my own home so not worth mentioning. Thanks to Shoreline Realty and to the owners of this lovely home. One of the best vacations we've ever had!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: DUCK-3 (DUCK DUCK VIEW)is great for large or multi-family vacations. We had three families and it accomodated us nicely. The views were amazing, the walk to the beach was manageable with small kids (we did rent beach carts to haul all our stuff down). A few downfalls: the bedrooms need new pillows and extra pillows stored in the closets. Many guests complained their necks were aching due to the flatness of the pillows. Bathrooms could have been cleaned better. Nothing like finding other people's body hair on the bathroom floor! YUK!

Unbeatable views from this "castle on the hill"

This house is truly a rare find...it sits on a little hill so the ocean and the sound are seen all the way around! We felt like royalty looking out over our kingdom! Hot tub was perfect looking up at the stars/moon at night, the pool table was a huge hit with lots of equipment, family room has a wonderful huge sofa, we played board games in the sitting room next to the family room, wifi was reliable, loads of dishes/glasses, some beach equip. in car port, great appliances including clean washer/dryer. Some of the reviews mentioned spiders/webs...we noticed a few old webs w/ dead spiders only in the family room, could easily be taken down with a long duster pole. No screened porch for them to accumulate on, guess the owner took it down? All positive reviews from me, the only area for improvement would be the beds. The master bed was too hard for my husband and I, we prefer a firm mattress with a foam top. The 2 queen beds were great for our kids and comfortable. The single beds are in terrible shape, old, uncomfortable, torn plastic covers. I read that the owners are replacing some mattresses in 2021!

Wrap around porch view of the ocean and bay

:Great location, 1/2 mile to walk down to the beach, about a mile walk to town. This house has a wrap around porch and you could see views of the ocean and bay (this includes views of the sunrise), the only problem is we couldn’t utilize the porch at all. I’m not really one to complain about spiders (I live in the country), the spiders here were so bad they were stuck (glued) to the screens, to the doors..I mean you couldn’t even exit to get to the porch without being swarmed with spiders and their webs. We called maintenance the first day and he came and power washed the house for us but I think something more is needed to take care of this kind of infestation. It was horrible. Also, inside it doesn’t look like it gets kept up well, the ceiling fans had webs, the corners of the ceilings..webs and spiders everywhere..at one point I thought they were crawling all over me at night lol Aside from the spider situation, beds could def also use some updating, it was a good home for what we needed.

Duck, Duck, Views

The view from this home was amazing. Even though we had a large leak in one of the kid’s rooms during our stay (practically raining in my daughter’s room), we still had a great time! The maintenance team was super professional and got it taken care of quickly so we could enjoy the rest of our vacation. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing 7-day escape

Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, easy walks to the beach, and only a 12 minute walk to nearby dining (Village Table and Tavern.) Quiet (we stayed mid-Oct.) Well-maintained hot tub and pool.
