Amazing Place!

Beautiful property and an amazingly relaxing place for a group. So many nice places to talk, work and walk. Plus we’ll stocked kitchens for cooking. You definitely should book this place if it’s available. We’ll definitely be back!

fantastic!!

This was the best!! We had 21 ppl from 3 to 70 and everywhere in between. Came from NC, MS, TX, CO and CA The house/pool/ land was awesome….. it was the best stocked VRBO I’ve ever stayed in…… clean…… management was top notch…… ranch hand was so nice….. we only get together every other year so hopefully we can come back Thanks again to Stephanne for such a wonderful place!!

Wonderful stay

We had an amazing time during our stay. The houses and property was wonderful. The property manager met us to show us around the property and was very responsive on the couple of questions that we had. Highly recommend this property for large groups

Annual family reunion

Manicured grounds, beautiful setting, complete privacy. Pool & grilling was great. Lots of spices etc in kitchen. Very nice stay. BTW, I’m still waiting for my deposit. I think a garbled msg said that my credit card has expired. I responded to the owner and VRBO but have not heard back.

Highly Recommend Sanders Hitch

This property couldn't have been better for our large family reunion/vacation! Everyone of all ages had a wonderful time. So much room to roam, relax, play, and swim. Both indoor and outdoor gathering places were exactly what we needed for our large family and invited guests. Plenty of space for everyone. Kids had an absolute blast. The property manager, Stephanne, was accessible, helpful, and professional before and during our stay! We will definitely be back for our next family gathering!

Large home with a great location

This home was awesome, it accommodated our large group great! The gathering areas were perfect for games and dinners and the hot tub was a fun bonus! About a 10-15 min Uber ride to the Stockyards or downtown. House manager was great and easy to get a hold of if needed. Would 100% stay again!

Family Heaven in Texas

We to Texas for a family wedding. The wedding of my first daughter. We needed a place to get sleep grandparents parents and siblings, and offer gathering spaces for different generations who needed different kinds of seating and lounging. Sanders hitch is a beautiful sprawling ranch house and pool house on over 100 acres with a beautiful lake and a rolling river. It is immaculately equipped with kitten supplies cooking supplies and recreational opportunities. Space for large groups together and intimate spaces for small groups to sit and talk amongst themselves. Quite frankly I hope no one else finds out about it because I want it all to myself! Two thumbs up in five stars as my rating

A Really Relaxing Family Reunion

A very relaxing and enjoyable family reunion for the 19 of us, ages infant to great grandparents. The place has lots of space with a pool house, a main house, and a large screened in patio-area by the pool. Spent most of our day time and early evenings by the pool: swimming, barbecuing, chatting, watching TV, playing board games, etc.. Usually ate lunch by the pool. Had a ping pong tournament every day. Spent the majority of our time on the property. Did go off property for shopping, visiting the Ft Worth Arboretum, golfing one day, a manicure/pedicure trip for all the women; the most physical fit of us jogged and used the bike trail nearby (took the car to get there, as the one road by the property is not a bike safe road). While the property is surrounded by houses on three sides and a road on one side, the property is so large that we felt there was nobody near us. The place is a small working ranch, and I believe the ranch-hand lives on the property? You have to enter through a gate that is opened by using your cell phone - you drive over two covered bridges and then drive up a small hill to get to the ranch house. Lots of parking spaces. The owner and manager were very helpful. One of the air conditioners went out one night and they got the repairman there that night (not a big deal, there was lots of other areas that were air conditioned). I also had a request before we got there and the owner immediately took care of it. The property is well stocked with seemingly everything you need except food and your personal things. Lots of refrigerators, stoves, and washing machines. Plenty of towels, dishes, utensils, toilet paper, condiments, soap, etc. The owner and manager checked on us frequently; they were never intrusive, and we always felt that they did it to make sure we were doing well and that we had everything that we needed. The four-bedroom attached to the master bedroom is a plus or minus thing depending on your family situation. It can be annoying to have the young kids walk through your bedroom. On the other hand, if you want to keep tabs on the kids, this arrangement makes it easier to do so. Also, there are two bathrooms so you can close a door so that you and the kids have essentially separate bathrooms. We have many family reunions over the last 25 years, with all of them, except one, being at different places. This last one at this ranch property was one of our favorites.

Perfect family environment!

I couldn't have imagined a more ideal setting for our family event. It had everything for all age groups. The parents felt completely safe letting the children roam the property and there were activity options for all guest members. The upkeep and response to inquiries was phenomenal. Again, couldn't have been happier!

Great place for a family reunion.

We had a great time at this property where we held a family reunion. The facility was large enough to accommodate us when we were all together - both indoors and outdoors. We really liked the Great Room, where we could get everyone together for activities. The outdoor kitchen was fantastic. It was too cool to take much advantage of the pool, but we enjoyed using the hot tub. Stephanne was very helpful - her friendliness and openness were a big factor in our choosing this location for our reunion. Thanks so much.

I'd do it all over again!

Stephanne was very helpful and kind from the beginning! She was there for questions day and night. I've met Allen a few times and he was also very kind and welcoming. We rented the property for my wedding, and everyone could not get over how beautiful it was. We had minimal decorations because the property itself is gorgeous. We had a magical time there, and would do it all over again! Thank you, Stephanne and Allen!

A Little Bit of Paradise!!!

I was so pleased and very thankful for this lovely reclusive property for our family to gather!!! I held my annual "Nana's Camp" retreat for my 21 grandchildren and their parents and they were all delighted with what they found as they began to arrive!!! Wonderful swimming pool and hot tub, a play ground for the littlest ones, fishing for the older guys! My older guys(the Dads) so enjoyed the cooking options with a great outdoor grill and especially the professional grill in the pool house!! Everyone played pool, ping pong,and there was always a chess game going.No detail was left out, from abundant fresh towels to wonderfully comfortable beds with such nice linens... and so many commented on how very clean and manicured the property was inside and out!! No one was ready to leave and we all vowed to make another reservation asap!!! Thank you Allen and Stephanne for all you did to make our stay just epic!!!! Mary Sullivan akaNana😉

The house was amazing and a great choice for our team environment! Everything about our stay was top notch! The lights at night, especially on the bridges were gorgeous. The pool/hot tub/outdoor kitchen was an incredible gathering area for healthy eating & even smores over the fire pit. We would recommend everyone that is looking at this property to say yes and stay! We would absolutely do it all over again!

Great Place

We had our baseball team stay and the kids loved it. Plenty of room for everyone. Kids loved the pool, ping pong table, pool table and fishing. Both the house and pool house had plenty of space for everyone. We even brought our own golf cart to ride around the property. Thanks again Allen and Stephanie for letting us stay.

Great property with so much to offer!

This property was able to accommodate our large family. The atmosphere of Sanders Hitch is unbelievable! We always look forward to getting to together each year to get away from lives distractions just to spend quality time together. We really enjoyed all that this property provided.

We have several other smaller rental properties but this is by far our biggest and most ambitious venture.
We enjoy meeting other people from all over the world and sharing stories.

This property is like no other in the Fort Worth area. Having been a former tree farm, there are beautiful trees of all varieties around the property. What makes this property so unique is the proximity to the city and Fort Worth attractions, yet the ability to escape by being on 117 acres of farmland.
