Dieses Haus befindet sich im Herzen eines der schönsten Dörfer Frankreichs in der Region Luberon. Kürzlich renoviert, ist es ideal für eine Familie (Kind über 10 Jahre), da es aus einer Elternsuite besteht: mit Bad und zwei weiteren kleineren Räumen im Untergeschoss. Es hat eine Garage für ein mittelgroßes Auto, sehr nützlich in diesem kleinen Dorf (Juli und August Mindestreservierung 6 Tage).
Das Wohnzimmer und die Terrasse im ersten Stock sind ideal, um die Sonne zu genießen und Mahlzeiten mit einer außergewöhnlichen Aussicht zu genießen.

Authentisches Dorfhaus mit super Ausblick

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in gemütlichen alten Haus inmitten eines mittelalterlichen Bilderbuchdorfs. Enge Gassen, schöne Ansichten, tolle Ausblicke. Sehr nette Gastgeberin, Unterkunft voll ausgestattet, zum Fernsehen sollte man etwas Französisch verstehen können.

Great location, very comfortable, calm, clean, well equiped: What more can we expect?

We spent 12 days in Adeline's wonderful house. The house was exactly as described and we enjoyed every minute we had there. We especially appreciated the living room including the well equiped kitchen. I must admit that we did not miss the TV in the living room but spent every evening talking, playing and admiring the wonderful view from the terrasse instead. By the way, there is a TV in the large bedroom but we did not use it once, we would have considered it a waste of time. Thanks Adeline for the wonderful time. We will be back in a not too distant future.

Charmantes Dorfhaus mit sensationellem Blick. Ein Kleinod.

Ideales Dorfhaus für 4 Personen. Sehr praktisch eingerichtet mit gut funktionaler Küche. Sehr charmanter Einrichtungscharakter und ein großer Balkon mit sensationell unverdautem Weitblick. Ruhig mitten im Dorf gelegen. Toller Ausgangspunkt für Exkursionen ins Umland. Einziger Wermutstropfen - bei durchgängig über 30 Grad wäre ein Pool schön gewesen. Na ja, man kann nicht alles haben. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

We had a really great time at the property - Adeline was very nice and personable despite several changes to our plans. The house was lovely and just what we needed. She even left us a lovely bottle of wine for us the night we arrived!

Wonderful in every way!

This has been our favorite VRBO stay! Everything was wonderful! We loved Ansouis and after visiting many Provincial villages, we all agree Ansouis was our favorite. What a charming, quaint, and beautiful village. The home was beautiful and equipped with everything we needed. The view from the balcony will remain in our hearts and minds always. The property owner is a perfect host. We would love to stay here again with our daughters in the future. Thank you for a perfectly memorable stay.

Maison avec beaucoup de charme

On a passé une semaine merveilleuse! Chez Adeline on ne peu pas se sentir mieux. Jolie maison, décorer avec du goût et belle terrasse au centre d’Ansouis. Chaleureux accueil, propreté irréprochable et petite attention qu’on a retrouvé au frigo et on l’as savourer sur la terrasse le soir même. Idéal pour une famille ou couple. Séjour très agréable

Nous avons eu un très bel accueil d Adeline et avons particulièrement aimé notre séjour dans sa maison et Ansouis magnifique village qui reste malgré tt à l ecart du tumulte. Magnifique château à visiter ainsi que le musée des fonds marins !

Beautiful house in peaceful village

Everything about this house was pleasing - from the decor to the view from the terrace to the lovely winding streets outside the door. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking - there was even a salad spinner! We had some comfortable, restful time at home as well as some touring and a bit of hiking in the area nearby. There are a couple of restaurants in the village as well as a cafe and a village store which carries all the basics plus more. Altogether, it was a wonderful choice for a week in Provence.

Superb base from which to explore the Luberon

Ideally located in Ansouis with a great sunset view from the terrace. The house was impeccably clean and had everything we needed and more. Adeline was an attentive host, intent on making our stay enjoyable. She was also very accommodating with regards to our late arrival and departure times. The garage is definitely a plus. The location is ideal for exploring the other picturesque villages of the Luberon such as Lourmarin, Roussillon, Goult and Saigon. Ansouis's proximity to Marseille, Avignon, Aix and Arles makes for easy day trips to the bigger towns. An hours drive gets you to the rugged Mediterranean coast and the town of Cassis. The Bar Sportif just off the village square is frequented by both locals and visitors and does an excellent pizza, either to eat in or take back end enjoy on the terrace. There is a new bakery a 5 minute walk away, ideal for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. I can also recommend its quiche! To sum up we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chez Adeline.

Old World Charm meets Modern Amenities

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet lovely village in the Luberon region. The house is very beautiful with it's old world charm but with modern amenities (bathrooms, kitchens, new windows, etc). The view from the balcony was a welcome respite at the end of a long day taking day trips, as well, as a wonderful greeting to the mornings. We were in Europe for 16 days and stayed in 3 different places, and this is our favorite because it was so charming yet very comfortable (and we stayed in nice houses too - this was just really charming). There is also a small grocery shop and a bakery down the road, less than 5 minutes walk. The car can be parked in the garage provided but because it is a narrow street, we decided to park in the village parking area (it seems like Provence has a village parking area in almost every village we visited). The parking is also less than 5 minute walk. It is really a short walk. The house is on a hill/cliff (I think), and the entry is on street level, but the house has 3 floors, and the entry is in the middle floor (so when you walk to the back of the house - even though you entered at street level, the windows are high above). The living area is on the top floor and the other 2 bedrooms are downstairs (when you walk downstairs, the bedroom with the twin beds are right there, and you have to walk through this bedroom to get to the other bedroom with the full sized bed -- we found the stone floors really lovely and charming). The main floor has the main bedroom and two bathrooms. Because it is an old house, the stairs are steep and narrow. The place is well suited for families with older children (she prefers 10 and up because they need to be self sufficient and responsible) -- the bedroom windows were kids sleep can be opened (as all the other windows) and if younger kids were staying, they might climb out and fall (and it's a long fall to the street because this side of the house is on the hill/cliff side). The place is also well suited for adults without any knee or walking issues (because of the stairs). The house has beautiful large beams crossing the rooms in the ceiling. The decorations are tastefully done. Everything about this place oozes charm. We loved it! We'd stay here again!

I can’t believe we found this home. We loved everything about our stay. This is truly a beautiful home that has graciously been shared. It had everything we needed and more. It was in the perfect location. Ansouis is a charming town that is not overpopulated by tourists. It had great restaurants and a well stocked grocery market. It was also perfectly situated for exploring the area. The pictures do not do it justice. When I saw the view from the terrace, it brought tears to my eyes! Breathtaking. I hope to return if I am lucky enough.

Turning the clock back

This property has the best view that I have experienced in a long , long time. Beautiful sunsets; magnificent build ups of summer storms. For an older couple the stairs were a challenge, but we knew that going into it. It was not a problem...just had to be careful. It was wonderful to be in the land of Cézanne. The drive ( four times) to Aix was always "interesting"...love those roundabouts...but upon returning to Ansouis and the property...all the stresses of the day faded away. The village is amazing, friendly, ancient and it has a one star Michlin rated restaurant . It was unfortunate for us that we were there when records were being set for unbearable heat...but every night it cooled down and made having the windows open a real pleasure.

Beautiful views in a quiet village

The owner was very cordial, attentive, and helpful, even though we understand very little French. Location is excellent as a base for exploring Provence; the serenity and peacefulness of the village were great for us. The Local restaurants were very nice; as there are only a few of them, and their opening times weren't intuitive to us, we needed to plan ahead for to ensure availability. The property was very well maintained with a pleasantly unique layout, a recently updated interior and beautiful views from the terrace. Parking was convenient, even though our car (small SUV) did not fit in the garage under the home. And finally, the A/C worked well - even in one of the worst heat waves in history - which happened to be a real bonus on this particular visit. In all, we are very pleased with our decision to stay here.

Fabulous location and modern house

What a lovely way to get integrated into the French countryside

Adeline was understanding of our late arrival given it was beyond our control. Her mother greeted us and showed us the fantastic house. It is still a quaint provincial house with modern amenities inside--very nice restoration and workmanship. The view from the deck alone is worth it (the pictures don't do it justice). Ansouis is also beautiful, small but lively at times, and very well located for Provence day trips. Two tips: First, best if you have a phone--we found that when we were there without one, we didn't always get a quick response via the VRBO app, though when we did it was always helpful and kind. Second, note that there are three bedrooms, one on the ground floor and two in the basement (which is not at all musty). One of the bedrooms in the basement has no private entrance--it has two twin beds, the other bedroom's occupant needs to walk through it to leave, and the stairs lead right into it.

We loved Adeline’s apt! Adeline was so helpful and welcoming and her spotless apt was perfect for us

Adeline was wonderful! She bought bread, jam and milk because we were arriving late. She was helpful and accommodating in every way! We absolutely loved her apt: clean, roomy, comfortable and stylish, we felt right at home. Our favorite spot was the deck with the extraordinary view of the Luberon mountains and the vineyards of the valley. We spent hours just relaxing on the deck listening to the birds and enjoying the view. It felt very private and quiet, calm and serene—in fact this is now one of my favorite places of relaxation. We also loved Ansouis—everyone was so friendly and helpful. We very much hope to come back.
