Optional sind 2 weitere Queensize-Betten für 4 weitere Gäste auf der geräumigen, klimatisierten 49-Zoll-SS Reveille in der nahe gelegenen Marina Bald Head Island (einer 49-Zoll-LOA SeaRay-Motoryacht) verfügbar.

Die Konfiguration des Haupthauses / Schlafzimmers ist wie folgt:

Erdgeschoss: Haupteingang über die kreisförmige Auffahrt, Außendusche, überdachter Sitzbereich, Bad / Dusche mit W / D und Eignersuite mit eigenem Eingang, Doppelstockbett mit Doppelstockbett und A / V installieren.

Hauptgeschoss: Toller Raum mit 2-seitigem Kamin, der den Lesesaal / das Arbeitszimmer verbindet, Esszimmer mit Platz für 8 Personen, Frühstücksbar mit Platz für 4 Personen und voll ausgestattete Küche. Diese Etage, die in einigen Bereichen eine halbe Stufe höher ist, verfügt über ein umlaufendes Deck, das über 90% des Außen- / Außenumfangs des Hauses abdeckt und einen fantastischen Meerblick bietet. Dieses Deck hat auch einen großen überdachten Pavillon mit Blick auf das Meer und den Westen / Sonnenuntergang.

Eine halbe Treppe hinauf: ein QUEEN-Schlafzimmer mit Meerblick und direktem Zugang zum Pavillon / Deck, ein QUEEN-Schlafzimmer mit Meerblick und Zugang zum Pavillon, ein Kinderzimmer mit Meerblick und Blick auf den Wald mit 2 SETS OF TWIN BEDS (für 4 Kinder) und Ein komplettes Badezimmer mit Badewanne / Dusche für diese halbe Etage.

Eine halbe Treppe hinauf: Junior Suite mit Queensize-Bett, eigenem Balkon mit Meerblick und eigenem Bad mit Dusche.

Letzte halbe Treppe hinauf: Master Suite mit KING-Bett, privatem Balkon mit direktem Meerblick, 2 Waschbecken, Badezimmer mit separater Dusche und Whirlpool-Badewanne.

Weitere 4 Gäste können an Bord der SS Reveille, einer 49-Zoll-SeaRay-Motoryacht mit Klimaanlage, 2 Queensize-Betten und einem geräumigen überdachten Sitz- und Liegebereich, übernachten, wenn Sie zusätzlichen Platz für große Gruppen benötigen. Ein lizenzierter Kapitän ist auch für Touren über den Fluss, den Intracoastal Waterway oder eine Dinner- und Shopping-Kreuzfahrt zu den Restaurants in Southport verfügbar. Für den Zugang zum Boot und zum Kapitän fallen zusätzliche Gebühren an, die nicht im wöchentlichen Grundmietpreis enthalten sind. Fantastic Yearly BHI Vacation for a group of 11 (+ dogs)

Had a fabulous time at Sea Lavender. The set up of the house was ideal for our group. Plenty of beds/bedrooms and hangout areas so we werent always on top of each other. Great location - just a short walk to beach access - and property was beautiful. Plenty of beach towels and chairs. Kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, cookware and a fabulous separate ice maker. And when we had questions, the owners or the property manager were super quick to respond. Great time was had by all.

Family vacation

The home was spacious and comfortable. We were in walking distance to the beach. The kitchen was stocked well and the extra fridge in the garage was very handy. I would say the only thing it lacked was comfortable furniture out on the decks. There was 4 rocking chairs, but 3 were broken. For the money, it would have been nice to have our family outside in the evening where we could enjoy the area. Otherwise, we were pretty happy with the home.

Fantastic location, great house

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this property. Communication with the property manager/owner was great. The house served us extremely well and the layout was great. It’s only a few minute walk to the beach or about a 30-second cart ride. Golf carts provided were the best we’ve ever used at BHI. We’ll be back again!

Great no-fuss rental!

We loved our stay! Fit 6 adults and 8 kids perfectly. Plenty of space to spread out, tons of incredible deck space to enjoy the breeze and view of the ocean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Sitting room was stocked full of games and puzzles. The owner was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. Location was perfect - close to the market, just across from South Beach access and short trip to East Beach. Plenty of beach chairs and toys, as well as a couple of beach cruisers we enjoyed for rides around the island. This is perfect for anyone looking for a no-frills rental that’s relaxed and comfortable for a vacation with family and friends.

Nice location and responsive owner

Overall, this is a nice large house with plenty of space for larger group. We had some hiccups with club membership, which the owner was very quick to fix. The house is slightly older and could use some upgrades, but it is certainly nice enough for a family beach vacation. We enjoyed our family time! Would recommend more bikes and kayaks for a house this size

Great house for a large group

Comfortable beds, great location, usable deck space even in the rain. We enjoyed having our dog with us and the gated off deck was a great place for her to dry off after frolicking at the beach. Comfortable furniture and 2 washers and dryers were a plus for our large group. There were adequate kitchen supplies for cooking dinner every night. Ice maker would have been helpful but the plumber didn't have time to install it when we there. The owners were easy to communicate with and we would stay there again.

A Great House!

Sea Lavender is a wonderful home and easy access to everything. We were not happy with the cleanliness upon arrival, but they were most attentive and responsive to our concerns. Lots of games and toys which should appeal to families. We had a wonderful time - Thank You!

Wonderful week at 6 Sea Lavender

This was a great beach house for all 7 of us, ages 10 to 72! The layout was just right with plenty of room to gather for meals and celebrations, and ample sleeping arrangements. The family room was comfortable and offered Apple TV and games, puzzles, etc. The kitchen was one of the best stocked I've seen for all types of cooking. Our favorite spots were the huge decks and covered gazebo (great for evening meals and drinks!) and the balcony off the master bedroom, which was perfect for stargazing. The biggest surprise of all was that the sound of the ocean waves could be heard from the decks of the house! Beach chairs, bikes, boogie boards and towels were all included which made packing easier. Bald Head Island is a magical place, and this house was the perfect complement to a great week!

You are paying for the location

This house is in an ideal location, but.... The kitchen is a disaster. The fridge quit working at the last day so we were able to survive but cleaning up was a challenge because everything was melted. The kitchen is really dated; the cabinets are broken. The decor is dated and extremely cluttered and unappealing. The bathrooms are super dated and we had to call the plumber to unclog a bathtub shower. The plumber unclogged it and proceed to show my nephews the culprit of the clog, causing one of my nephews to nearly lose his lunch that he was in the process of eating. It took months for my sister to get her security deposit back and only after numerous attempts to find out why she didn't get the entire amount she found out we were charged for the dogs we brought. We didn't pay for them at the outset because we weren't sure they would come and when they ended up coming for only 3 nights and the guy that took the payment was on vacation and unavailable. Finally the owners don't make it clear what you are paying for.Turns out we were responsible for $900 more than we expected when we arrived. The owners are new owners so perhaps they have gotten things worked out now, but I would not spend that kind of money on this house again.

Perfect vacation

6 Sea Lavender exceeded our expectations. The house easily accommodated our family reunion of 9 adults, 3 kids, and one infant. With people going in every direction all the time, we loved having use of two golf carts and being so close to beaches and the market. And when we were actually all in the house at the same time, there was plenty of room for board games (provided) inside, a gathering on one of the many decks, and cooking. The house was stocked with kitchen supplies, sand toys, and linens. The house felt open and well lit with natural light. Our favorite things were the deck swings/hammocks, storms that rolled in at night, the ocean breeze, roomy outdoor shower, and witnessing dozens of sea turtles make their way to the ocean (check out BHI Conservancy for times/places). Sea Lavender was a perfect place for our vacation. I only wish we could have stayed forever.

Great house, great location, great island

Two large families (and first time Bald Head Island visitors) rented 6 Sea Lavender Court and we loved the house and the island. The house is huge - plenty of room for our families (11 people total) and super comfortable. The furniture is cozy, the house is nicely decorated and the location was great. We appreciated being not too far from the market and just across the street from the beach. Also, the A/C kept the place comfortable and the TV/music set up was really great for the adults to listen to music while cooking and hanging out and kids to watch movies at night. Two sets washer/dryers made laundry a breeze and the multiple bathrooms made it so no one had to wait their turn. The outdoor shower is also nice and the big golf cart made it easy to get around the island. Can't say enough about the house or working with Dennis and the nice folks he has helping with the house. I'd recommend passes to the BHI club for the week (the pool scene is great for kids and the golf course is a beauty.)

I stayed at 6 Sea Lavender with a few friends and family for Memorial Day Weekend and it was the most amazing experience. The house is incredibly lovely and right on the water. It was large enough to accommodate everyone, yet still felt cozy and homey. There are many decks from which to admire the great views (and you'll never want to leave the super comfortable porch swing). Plus, the house is fully stocked with board games and other fun activities for rainy days. The house and the island are incredible and we had such an amazing time. We definitely didn't want to leave. Hope to come back to this house very soon!

6 Sea Lavender is the perfect house for your stay on Bald Head Island. It is the perfect proximity to the beach, stores, activities, etc. It is a comfortable home, accessible to all ages and groups. We will stay here again soon!

Sea Lavender = Beautiful Sanctuary

I’ve been coming to Bald Head Island for decades and stayed at Sea Lavender several times. It is a truly beautiful home, extremely spacious but with a cozy feel to it. The house is well decorated and maintained. In my opinion its location is one of the best on Bald Head—very close to the beach, both country clubs, shopping, and grocery store. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful Home!

I have stayed at 6 Sea Lavender numerous times over the last several years and absolutely would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful home, that's convenient to the beach, has plenty of room for large groups (or small) and is located very close to the island store! The porch and gazebo area are great for watching the sunset with friends/family and your beverage of choice! Would highly recommend this home as well as Bald Head Island for your next vacation!

Recently purchased the house after several years of owning the house in a partnership. We love Bald Head and appreciate the opportunity share the house and the island with friends and guests a few weeks each year while maintaining the feel of a family retreat. Warm family feel, spacious, stunning views from dune ridge but with the beach right across the street, grocery store and shopping arcade 4 blocks away, BHI Club (golf, tennis, croquet, exercise center, restaurants) a 5 minute cart ride, and marina/ferry 10 minutes drive. The previous owner was very generous to put the 2 lots in front of the house in a permanent conservation easement to help maintain the overall environment on the island but also preserve the view and enhance the sense of privacy in the house.

The expansive great room can be configured for a large dinner with friends, family reunion, or corporate event. This great room flows out onto an expansive, multi-layered deck which provides an ideal view of the ocean and nighttime stars.

The property is also centrally located on the Island, right in the middle of South Beach facing the ocean - 5 mins by cart from the BHI Club or Grocery Store and shopping venue. 8-10 minutes to the Old Baldy lighthouse/museum, post office, BHI Marina and shops and restaurants on the west end of the island.

Walking, Biking and golf carts rule the roads here (no cars allowed); great blend of privacy, spacious views, and removal from the crowd where the island and house are concerned but with the benefits of a world class Golf Club, shopping, grocery store, spa, and restaurants all within a 5-10 minutes away. Healthy variety of watersport, fishing, food, art and shopping vendors on the island make it a great place for everyone in the family to find something fun to do. Or just sit on the deck or on the expansive beach and soak up the view!

Our home feels roomy and comfortable, with an expansive great room that draws people together but with plenty of places for privacy and wrap-around decking to secure peaceful moments.
