Wir haben dieses Anwesen gekauft, weil wir die Idee, so nah am Strand zu sein, so sehr mochten, dass wir für Mahlzeiten und Nickerchen hin und her laufen können. Wir lieben diesen Ort auch, weil das Haus in einer Seitenstraße am Ende einer Sackgasse liegt. Es ist sehr sicher für Kinder und Sie müssen sich wegen der Lage des Hauses keine Sorgen um Autos machen. Unser Lieblingsmerkmal ist die vollständig geschlossene Außendusche mit heißem und kaltem Wasser ... sehr praktisch für größere Gruppen und für Kinder, um den ganzen Sand abzuspülen !! Bitte keine Haustiere erlaubt, danke!

Better than the pictures!

The house looks cute online, but it’s 10 times better in person. Lots of space, very close to the beach, and even close enough to walk to the bars and restaurants. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The owner was quick to respond and check-in and check-out were easy. I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely home located close to park and beach

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. Pictures don’t do the home justice. It’s a very nice beach home. Ideal location a short walk to the beach(note there is a bluff so steps are required to get to beach) I was thankful to have a park close to let my younger kiddos run off steam.

Amazing Getaway

House exceeded our expectations. Lovely decorating and home was accommodated beautifully. The location is absolutely perfect:close proximity to the beach and if you have little ones, super close to Kids Korner. We rode bikes into town but it’s also walkable. We’ve stayed in South Haven many years but this was one of our favorite places. Owner responded to inquiries immediately and allowed us to use their bikes.

Wonderful!

This is a perfect location for families. Easy walk to beach and park, close to downtown. The house can easily accommodate multiple families, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The house was clean and had lots of amenities. Even better than the photos.

Nice house, quiet neighborhood, close to beach and playground.

Our family had a great time at this nice house, on a quiet street, but so close to a playground and a Lake Michigan Beach. Great size for our family of 7 adults and 2 kids under 6 years old. South Haven is a great little town, and it's just a short walk from this house. We were lucky to visit when the blueberries were in season, and we visited a local blueberry farm to pick some.

Great house and host

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. The location is great - very close to the park and South Beach. Our family of 9 was comfortable with room to spare, and the outdoor shower is great!

Family vacation

This home was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and just a short walk from a great playground and of course the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook most of our meals. The back patio/yard made the perfect hangout when we weren’t out for the day. The community is super quiet and we felt safe to walk wherever we wanted to go.

Great location, huge house.

Very nice house and a short walk to a very pretty beach! Safe town, very laid back. I would recommend this place for kids, adults, and older folks too! Nice gardens in the area, and good weather. Michigan is my new Florida!

Family Get-together at the beach

Our family has always enjoyed going to the beach. And now, as adults, we still enjoy it. We've met in South Haven for several years in a row, and we've stayed in the house at 719 St. Joe Place the past 2 years. The house has everything we need: close proximity to the beach, playground, and downtown; comfortable accommodations; a nice back yard; and plenty of toys in the garage (bikes, paddle board, corn hole, bacchi ball, etc.). We absolutely love the house.

House was even better than the pictures and in a great area. I was informed the basement flooded a month before our stay but Brent accommodated us perfectly. Beautiful house. Lots of room everything you would need is there. Would definitely book again.

Great house and location on a quiet street!

The home and location exceeded our expectations!. The photos do not do the house justice. Many of the rooms have been updated since the online photos were taken. The adult bikes were in great condition. Being in a cul-de-sac/dead end was nice for our 4 year old to ride his bike. Besides several bikes, chairs and sand toys, the owners have a wagon that can be used to haul your cooler, chairs, etc. to the beach. It is a short walk to the beach and awesome kids park. We grilled on the Webber Grill and had our morning coffee on the porch. Owner was quick to kindly answer our questions.

Amazing location and backyard!

Brent’s house was fantastic for my family. We really enjoyed our stay! The location was amazing and the yard was great for the kids to play. The main floor bath has been updated from the photos and has a great tiled shower. There is also a small room off the kitchen with a twin bed that we didn’t know was there, but worked great for my daughter. Everything we needed was available- like extra blankets and a fully stocked kitchen. The basement looks to be mid- demo so although there was a bathroom listed down there it wasn’t available to use. Black out shades would have been great because it stays light very late and the sun comes up early so the kids had trouble sleeping. Also, the kids room is listed as a queen but seemed smaller and was difficult for 2 people to sleep in as we had planned. All in all, we loved our stay! Thank you very much!

While the location is ideal the housekeeping issues were not. More accurately they were unacceptable. The one thing you take for granted when renting a house is that it will be clean, unfortunately this was not the case for us. Hoping it was a one time only occurrence. Cute house, great location but won’t be going back.

Perfect Location

We enjoyed our stay, but wish we had more days available! The house had a perfect location, only 2 blocks from a beautiful beach. There was plenty of space for 6 adults and a child, so we didn't feel on top of each other. The house is definitely updated a bit from the pictures, but we felt it was a little dirty in some spots. The floors left our bare feet dirty, and there were some cobwebs we ran into in corners of rooms, but otherwise nothing bad. We also had to reach out to the owner for directions for check-in/keys and check-out because there was nothing provided to us, or left visible at the house. We will definitely keep this home in mind for another summer stay where we can come back and enjoy the close location and warmer weather for a longer period of time!

This is out second time staying at this property. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely and fully stocked. We were 3 adults and 3 children and everyone had a great time. Very close to beach and Kids Corner. It is a great location.

Lovely home, perfect location!

It was a perfect spot for our family vacation with a young child. As as described, it was a 1/2 block from Kids Corner and an easy walk to the beach and downtown. Three floors of comfortable living space allowed for gathering and for privacy. Definitely will return!

Excellent location!

This location was ideal for our family, we could be at the park in two minutes and to the blue stairs for the beach in 5. It's a bit of a walk to the restaurants but doable. The pictures didn't do the house justice, it was nicer in person. It had all the amenities we needed and his neighbor was so kind to our family. One thing to note, the bathroom on the main floor doesn't have a shower. This wasn't a big deal at all to us as we enjoyed showering outside after the beach (but could also use a shower upstairs or downstairs). The wifi worked well, but the tv in the basement wasn't able to stream anything (all bedrooms had a tv as did the kitchen/dining area). At first this seemed like it would be a problem but we barely spent anytime watching tv since we were outside all the time! We loved eating in the backyard and grilling. The layout worked great for our family, we slept upstairs with our oldest two in the kids room, our youngest slept in the small room off the master (which is accessible from the kitchen as well), my parents slept in the master on the main floor and my brother slept downstairs. Everyone had their own space when they wanted it. Overall we are really happy with Brent's house and would rent here again!

We are a Family of 5 that purchased this home for relaxing summers on the beach. We live in Kalamazoo, and absolutely love everything about South Haven for our family. Great atmosphere, restaurants and shopping. After a full renovation and a few great rental experiences we decided to rent this home during the summer when we are not using it.
