Wonderful Apartment in Le Marais

This apartment is perfect for a long stay. Daniel, the owner, is the most welcoming host. He's provided everything to make yourself at home and was excellent in communicating with us both before we arrived and checking to make sure we were settled. His recommendations on local eateries were spot on. Merci beaucoup Daniel. The location is wonderful, easy walk to the Franprix market, restaurants, boulangerie, Metro and bus lines. The apartment is half a block from the Picasso Museum as well as other great museums we had not yet seen. We will definitely stay here on future visits to Paris!

Hope to return

This was a fabulous apartment in a fabulous neighborhood. Easy access to the Metro, to the museums, to restaurants and to food shops. We walked basically everywhere -- though most people might not want to do that but it was doable and enjoyable. Liked the vibe of the neighborhood and the brightness and organization of the apartment. Owner very gracious.

Wonderful Paris Apartment

We have visited Paris almost annually for the past 20+ years, staying first in hotels and more recently apartments. This experience from meeting Daniel at the apartment, to the location and the apartment itself was first class. The apartment is perfect for 2 people. It is exceptionally clean and well laid out. There is a large shower and plenty of closet space. Overall it is probably the nicest of any of our past lodgings. We will return next year and hopefully many more years in the future. Perfect stay in Le Marais

We adored this apartment. The layout was perfect for the two of us. Daniel was a conscientious and welcoming host. As described, the apartment was located on an upper floor and filled with sunlight. The Perfect Place to Stay in Paris!

The apartment was wonderful! The location was perfect for walking to all of our favorite sites. There are great restaurants, cafes, and lots of shopping nearby. The area felt very safe. The apartment had plenty of room and amenities so that all of my needs were met. The bed was so comfortable I slept great every night. Daniel was awesome with the communication and having me greeted upon my arrival. I appreciated the recommendations and tips he left for visitors. Great apartment in the Marais

A First Class Stay!

This property was ideal for so many reasons! First, the apartment itself was "first class" in every way, from the very comfortable and elegant accommodations, ample storage, linens, towels, shower to the stocked kitchen with every type of utensil, dishes and more. For a small apartment, Daniel made use of every nook and cranny and provided more than enough space for luggage and clothing for a week long stay. The location was perfect in the beautiful Marais district right near the Picasso Museum, galleries, patisseries, cafes and bistros. Daniel was incredibly attentive from the start, initiating contact via email to offer directions from the airport, asking how he could provide beverages for our comfort when we arrived and then meeting us outside the apartment to show us into the building. He was such a generous host to provide us with 2 bottles of French wine upon our arrival! He was also very thoughtful to check on us to see if we needed anything after we settled in. I would highly recommend this property to anyone coming to Paris for a vacation. Le Marais district is the place to be and Daniel is the impeccable host! Merci beaucoup Daniel for a truly wonderful stay!

The best vacation rental, ever!

This was our second time staying at this absolutely stunning apartment. Just like our first visit we found the accommodations to be top notch. Everything in the apartment is beautiful and also so comfortable. The kitchen has everything and more that you might need. The bedroom is super luxurious, with a very comfortable mattress and the best quality linens. Communication with Daniel is easy and always a pleasure. We look forward to returning in the future!

Perfect, quiet apartment in the Marais

Daniel was welcoming and informative from the moment we rented his apartment. He met us upon our arrival, gave us a tour of the apartment and how appliances work, showed us his wonderful list of recommended restaurants, shopping, local sights and maps. Check in was available from early morning to accommodate transatlantic arrivals. Everything we needed was provided, in its logical place, the apartment was spotless. Parisienne Paradise

This lovely and charming apartment was everything we’d hoped for during out stay. It was perfectly appointed with crisp white linens, functional kitchen with everything you could need and loads of gadgets, plates, coffee, tea, etc. The shower was hot and had great water pressure, lots of towels and laundry facilities available. Bed was very comfortable. We loved being able to open the windows for the breeze. It was a quiet street, you could occasionally hear people on the street but that only added to the ambience. The apartment is on the 4th floor with a tiny elevator. It is about a 10 minute walk to the St. Paul metro so very easy to see the city. The area right around the apartment had what became some of our favorite restaurants. You can’t go wrong staying here. We can’t wait to return. Thank you Daniel for being a lovely host.

Feeling at home in Le Marais

Clean, well equipped, comfortable sleeping. Plenty of room for two (but not more). Daniel met us at the apartment and was available by phone if needed. Felt at home, nice to come back to after a day of adventuring in the city. Close to restaurants, bakeries, groceries, and small shops. We could walk to the left bank; Notre Dame is 1.4 miles and the nearest metro is 3 blocks. Elevator was a bonus! Can’t miss the Picasso Museum a block away. We would love to stay here again!

Perfect cozy apartment in the heart of the Marais

This is a great place for a couple looking to live in the Marais. Small kitchen was perfect for making breakfast and snacks. Location is ideal- lots of cool cafes and shops in walking distance. Very charming apartment - everything we needed

Daniel was a most gracious, thoughtful host. His apartment is lovely, and very well equipped. We were very happy staying there, enjoying the view of the rooftops around us, a cat watching us from a nearby window, birds in the morning. It was so nice to have a well-stocked kitchen for fixing a meal, to be able to do laundry, review the maps, travel books, and suggestions left by Daniel, and sleep in a such a comfortable bed. Everything is the apartment was so tasteful. It was a joy to be there.

A gem in the Marais

My wife, José-France has created her company of house linen and has sold her
products in many places like the Galeries Lafayettes in Paris or Henry Bendel in New York. And before she was a buyer for a chain of department stores.
I managed my own restaurant in Paris for 30 years, called " Le Volant ", which is still working.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Since we are retired, we share out time between Paris and a nice village in the Pays Basque, South west of France, called Guéthary near Biarritz. And when we leave Paris, we rent our place and we are happy to share an apartment that we have decorated , first for us, but also with the desire to make it as elegant and confortable as possible for those who trust us and want to stay for a while in it.
