Wir haben eine Hütte mit zwei Schlafzimmern auf zehn Morgen in Germfask, MI, im Herzen der oberen Halbinsel. Das Hotel liegt in einer Meile des Flusses Manistique, der ausgezeichnete Möglichkeiten zum Angeln und zum Verleih von Kanus und Kajaks bietet. Befindet sich direkt neben den Schneemobil- und ORV-Trails. Germfask befindet sich neben dem Seney National Wildlife Refuge, in dem Sie auf mehreren hundert Hektar Trails Vögel beobachten und die Natur erkunden können.
Das Hotel liegt 16 km westlich von Curtis und den Manistique Lakes und direkt an der Straße vom Round Lake & Luce County Park. Zentral gelegen, 45 km östlich von Manistique, 45 km westlich von Newberry. ORV und / oder Motorschlitten nach Seney, Curtis und alle Verbindungswege nach Munising, Grand Marais, Newberry und Umgebung.

Awesome Yuper Sauce

Great place to feel like home. Joe was a great silent host. Everything was great. Having the pets is best perk they you get at this place. I had three dogs and it was awesome to have them with us. They were caged in while they were in an unsupervised. Just a perfect rental for 6/7 people. .

Perfect home base for UP adventures

This rustic cabin had everything we needed for a budget-friendly stay in the central UP. Close to lots of great day trip destinations. Quiet and convenient location. Wi-fi was lightning fast (300+mbps) which was great for working remotely. Less than 20 minutes from multiple food options.

Perfect little getaway

The ONLY complaint was the grass needing mowed and that only bothered me because of the mosquitoes which were mostly bad in the evening. Very nice place to stay! Thank you for helping us have such a wonderful UP experience!!

Bad Night

Had mice, lots of them. Evidence in every drawer and cupboard in the kitchen. My daughter laid down for bed and woke up to one in the bed with her. Needless to say it was not a fun night. We left the next morning and didn't come back. Had no communication from the owner, not a hey the keys are on the table, nothing. The gps took us to a field a mile down the road. I walked into this place not knowing what to expect and got mouse ville.

Great place for the price. Much better than the Yooper Cabin #2 which is right down the road from this one. At least at this place they provided soap & shampoo & not right a bad review when you use them.

Nice place, great location for snowmobiling. Very easy to find and great communication with Joe to answer some questions about the rental and area. Could use some updates, but overall very satisfied with our stay and the cabin.

Nice except for the mice!

Cabin was nice. Good layout. Lots of privacy and nice setting. All the pots/pans and appliances you need. Good communication with the owner. Check in/out was a breeze. Now when we went looking for utensils…my wife jumped back when she opened the drawer under the microwave and there were mice inside. We understand that mice can be a problem up there, but in the drawer for the utensils? Also there was peanut butter on the silverware in the drawer. Dirty laundry in the washing machine, dishes in the wash rack and the refrigerator smelled from all of left over condiments and food. And not really a big deal for us but the place smelled of stale cigarette smoke.

We spent our anniversary weekend here and had a wonderful time. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans and such. Plenty of blankets and places to hangout. Would return for another weekend getaway.

A place to get off the grid

I will start with the negative first.... when we opened the refrigerator there was food and condiments in there still. Mattresses are old and lost their ability to hold a person comfortably in the one room, master bedroom seemed OK. Check out time on the app said 12 pm. At 10:55 some old truck pulls up and a guy apparently is there to clean the place up. He starts walking throughout the place as we are trying to get our stuff around and packed... mind you we don't know who owns the place or who he is. He goes on to tell us yeah check out is really 11, but there are no signs anywhere stating this. That was very uncomfortable for the wives we had with us as well as the men. No wifi as stated and not much of a signal for phones (not really a bad thing either). Now time some positives. Over all the place isn't a bad place. With the wood burning stove on the inside, grill and fire pit on the outside made for some great fires and cooking experiences. TV has satellite to watch if you want to with plenty of vhs tapes for movies to choose from. The place was cozy and was mostly used to make food and sleep in as we spent the day time hours traveling. I would rate this place a 3.6 or if 5.

Great Stay

I brought my teenage son, dogs and my parents that are in their 70's. The cabin is as advertised. It's cozy, clean, the beds are comfortable and had all the necessities for our stay. The location is great with easy access to so many attractions. Relatively short drives to Kitch-iti-kippi, Pictured Rocks, Munising, and Lakenlake Sculpture Park. The owner responds quickly to all messages and the property is maintained well. We missed having wifi and even with four different phone plans had to go into town for enough service to use data. It's great to disconnect but made it hard to look up weather and directions. Seney Wildlife Preserve, Manistique River, Northland Campground that tuns paddle services are all minutes away. Would definitely stay again when in the area.
