Das Courtyard befindet sich in abgeschiedener Lage auf dem Gelände des Holmby House mit einem 2 Hektar großen, umzäunten Garten, einem Tennisplatz, einer Krocketwiese und einem beheizten Außenpool (geöffnet von Frühjahr bis Herbst). Das Haus liegt am Rande der Cotswolds und ist von einer wunderschönen hügeligen Landschaft umgeben.
Das Courtyard besteht aus neu renovierten, luxuriösen Unterkünften im Erdgeschoss. Es gibt 4 Doppelzimmer, alle mit eigenem Bad. In den 2 B & B-Schlafzimmern im Haupthaus können maximal 12 Personen untergebracht werden. Es gibt ein großes, beeindruckendes Wohnzimmer mit schöner Aussicht, eine hervorragend ausgestattete Küche und ein geräumiges Esszimmer. Es gibt einen Pool-Esstisch und Sonnenliegen sowie zwei weitere Terrassen für Mahlzeiten im Freien.
Es gibt ein Dorfladen zwei Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und es gibt eine ausgezeichnete Gastro-Kneipe im Dorf. Es gibt schöne Spaziergänge und Radwege vor der Haustür

Weekend get together with old friends

We had a wonderful stay, Sally was very welcoming and caring host. it was in a beautiful location and the gardens were lovely. The house was extremely comfortable and very well thought through with plenty of room to sit comfortably in the living room and dining room for all 8 of us together. It was also a welcome benefit that there more than 8 of many of the kitchen items, so we didn’t need to wash up things every time we used them and could just wait and put the dishwasher on! We all felt this was one of the best properties we had stayed in, the quality of everything was very high and clearly maintained (for example lovely soft white fluffy towels) and many little extra details had been thought of, we would definitely come again and thoroughly recommend to others.

Fabulous long weekend

We had a wonderful long weekend! The rooms, (all with ensuite bathrooms), were the perfect set-up for us with quality linen and very comfy beds. The dining room and living room were also a great size and very comfortable. The kitchen is a galley style - quite compact - which takes getting used to but it's very well equipped and was fine for the time we were there. We appreciated having a village shop a short walk away and an excellent gastro pub a 20 minute walk away. We were delighted with the property - Sally and John were helpful and even left us a few welcome treats which were delicious! The grounds are a highlight - we loved playing tennis and croquet and going for a swim (even in October). It was everything we'd hoped! Highly recommend.

A perfect stay

This house was more perfect than we could have imagined for a uni friend get together. Sally (our host) was fabulous, had amazing communication, check in was simple, and we were completely left to enjoy the property. Lovely place- pool was amazing

Even when it was cold the pool was super warm. House was very nice and cozy, and the tennis court was good fun too! Sally was very accommodating and even sent my friend’s phone in the mail when we accidentally left it!

Fantastic property

We had a fantastic break away at The Courtyard. The teenagers loved the pool, the dog loved the huge garden and field, and we all appreciated the very comfy beds. Plenty of space for our group of 9 with lots of outside seating to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the stunning garden. We’ve already started talking about making a return booking!

The perfect family trip

I cannot say enough amazing things about our wonderful trip to The Courtyard last week. We had the BEST time! I booked this trip for our annual family Easter trip. It was myself, husband and step daughter (5yo), my parents, my sister and BIL and family dogs. The property was absolutely perfect for our needs. On arrival and the miserable weather, Sally was there to welcome us to her beautiful home. The property was absolutely spotless and the most lovely welcome gifts of homemade cake and bread, Prosecco and crisps made a fabulous welcome. For a self catering property, it was so well equipped with essentials that we didn’t expect. The coffee machine and pods were the ultimate morning treat! Sally’s garden is just out of this world, so well manicured yet welcoming for humans and dogs at the same time. We were so lucky to be able to enjoy the views, pool and tennis court/table tennis during our stay, mainly for our Family Easter Olympics! Sally and family were so welcoming and on hand to answer any questions on the lead up to our stay, yet made the property perfectly private whilst we were there. We are already planning our return trip to such a beautiful part of the country. Thank you again Sally and we really hope to meet you again soon!

Lovely family holiday

The property was absolutely lovely. It was comfortable and well maintained for 8 adults and 2 infants. We loved our days playing tennis and swimming. Paradise in the hills and valleys

Beautiful grounds with a sensible distribution of rooms to accommodate the required number of guests. For families there is a large dining room that is suitable for few generations of families to gather. Owner is extremely helpful and at the same time constructive to an extreme. Amazing Weekend!

We have just got back from a fantastic weekend at Holmby House. The house was perfect, the rooms were great, the communal areas were big enough that you didn't feel cramped, which was great as there were 12 adults on the first night. Everything was provided and had been thought of. The grounds of the property are gorgeous, the pool was so warm it was amazing. The weather wasn't that greag, it was cloudy all day and around 17 degrees but we still managed to enjoy the pool as it was heated so well! Sally was also great at communicating and was very friendly and helpful. We would love to return to the property one day. Thank you so much for a brilliant weekend!

Beautiful weather to enjoy pool

My friends and I had the most wonderful time here and Sally and Husband were so accommodating. We feel the house is even better than advertised with the gardens coming up trumps we were able to enjoy these and the pool with the arouma of honeysuckle around us. The living area is great for a bigger group and they had enough loungers to accommodate us all. Lovely house in countryside perfect for weekend away with friends

We had a fantastic weekend - lots of social space and big dining area. Great that all rooms are ensuite. Only issue was communication before the stay as the host did not have access to her account and so was not replying. When we were there the host was really helpful and lovely!

Lovely Property

We stayed at The Courtyard for a Birthday weekend as a group of 12. The accommodation was lovely - clean and well maintained with plenty of space for all of us. The living and dining areas were lovely spaces for us all to come together as well. The only downside was that it was close to other properties so we had to mindful of the noise late in to the night considering we did ask about noise when placing the booking. Would visit again without a doubt, maybe during the summer so we could take full advantage of the swimming pool, tennis courts and garden area.

Our stay at The Courtyard was perfect for our holiday needs. The layout of the house gave everyone their privacy. Several areas within the gardens had outside seating and tables to enjoy relaxing time together. Children enjoyed the swimming pool every day,even the rain and cool winds didn't put them off. The tennis court was good fun. Situated at the lower end of the garden surrounded by trees and shrubbery - perfect. A big thank you to Sally who made us very welcome. The goodies left for us to enjoy were fabulous. The cake especially was amazing. We will deffinitely be back next year.
