Montana, "komm für eine Woche, bleib ein Leben lang". Ab dem Moment, in dem Sie durch die Eingangstür Ihrer gemütlichen Montana-Hütte gehen, werden Sie sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlen. Wenn Sie durch die Tür gehen, wird Ihr Blick sofort auf den Fluss gelenkt, der direkt vor den großen Sichtfenstern fließt und einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Fluss und die umliegenden Berge bietet.
Die Küche befindet sich auf der rechten Seite und bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten, die Sie für Ihren Aufenthalt benötigen. Das Badezimmer befindet sich direkt gegenüber der Küche und verfügt über ein Dusch- / Badewannenensemble. Die Wanne ist zum Entspannen nach einem langen Wandertag ausgelegt. Es gibt eine stapelbare Waschmaschine / Trockner für Ihre Bequemlichkeit.
Das Wohnzimmer ist klein, aber sehr komfortabel mit einem Queen-Size-Schlafsofa und einem bequemen übergroßen Stuhl. Es gibt einen kleinen Esstisch für zwei / drei und zwei Barhocker an der Theke für zusätzliche Sitzgelegenheiten. Für kühle Abende oder romantische Feuernächte steht ein Holzofen zur Verfügung.
Das Hauptschlafzimmer ist ein offenes Loft mit atemberaubendem Blick auf den Fluss und die Berge. Die gesamte Rückseite der Hütte, die zum Fluss hin ausgerichtet ist, ist mit großen Sichtfenstern versehen, die ein Gefühl von Offenheit für die Natur vermitteln.
Während die Hütte perfekt für Paare und romantische Kurzurlaube geeignet ist, ist sie nur für eine kleine Familie, eine kleine Gruppe von Fischern oder zwei eng verbundene Paare geeignet.
Diese Hütte kann im Mai, September und Oktober für einige Wochen alleine gemietet werden. Der Rest der Saison kann in Verbindung mit dem Riverside Retreat gemietet werden, das vrbo # 1473426vb ist

Perfect Time in the Paradise Valley

Had a wonderful three night stay, the Fishing Cabin was all that we hoped it would be and then some. Comfortable and clean....great location and a real great place to "kick out" and relax. Great Location to both Livingston and the Pray/Emigrant area....

Idyllic cabin, perfect for two!

This cabin was beyond what we expected and saw in the pictures. From the little touches of the pictures and the tic-tac-toe board to the incredible views of the Yellowstone river and the mountains and you sit on the couch or even in the bed! We will be back and will 100% recommend this location to everyone!

Gorgeous River Front Cabin

The property is so beautiful! You couldn’t find a more peaceful setting . We explored Yellowstone during day and enjoyed returning to the cabin each evening. We found the cabin to be clean, comfortable and well-stocked. It was quite easy to find and convenient to local restaurants and attractions. I do hope we can return soon!

Great little hideaway

Spouse and I needed a little hideaway for the weekend near Chico and this was PERFECT. Check in was easy, space was clean and ready, location was absolutely perfect. Nothing beats falling asleep to the sound of the river!

Tranquil and relaxing!

Lovely extra touches that are in the cabin made us feel extra special. It is quiet and comfortable (especially the bed) and had everything we may have needed and more. The brownies were a treat when we arrived and being able to wash some clothes before we moved on to our next destination was a bonus. Very private and tranquil! Would stay again in a heart beat! Thanks!

Beautiful views, lovely stay

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay in this lovely and very well located home. It has everything one needs, and stunning views of the mountains and of Yellowstone River flowing by. A couple of useful notes: first, the house has no AC. We were there during a heat wave, so even with the fans that the owners of the property had running, it was a bit too hot at night. However our last night temperatures were back to normal and we were able to cool the house to agreeable temperatures. Secondly, I did not realize there was another house so close by - I believe it is the owners' - but that may just be that I didn't read the reviews and information carefully, and in any case, the house still felt very private and we were very comfortable in it. Paradise Valley is stunning and we definitely plan to be back. When we do, we would love to stay at this property again!

Lovely stretch of the river

This is a very nice little cabin in a great spot on the Yellowstone River. We enjoyed our time on the backporch overlooking the river as boats floated by. Everything was easy and straightforward and we had a great time here in the Paradise Valley.

Paradise Valley at It’s Best

This property was absolutely perfect for our Paradise Valley stay. I’m a fisherman and we stayed for a couples retreat to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday. The cabin has a nice charming feel and offers seclusion on the banks of the Yellowstone River with magnificent Mountain views.

Peaceful Pray

What a wonderful way to wrap up our time in Montana. The cabin was so charming. Host was very communicative throughout process and stay. We were fortunate to have deer on the property and enjoyed the deck time watching them...as well as boaters floating down the river. Would stay again! Also a great location if visiting Yellowstone or Livingston.

Perfect and peaceful

Wow! The Fishing Cabin was perfect! It was clean, comfortable and well stocked! The view of the river and mountains were amazing. We had a mule deer doe and her two fawns hanging around on the property the entire time we were there. We sat on the deck while they grazed on the lawn, doesn’t get much better than that! We had a four night stay and enjoyed every minute of it. It was unseasonably warm for this time of year but measures were taken to regulate temperatures inside and keep it comfortable. Dee Dee was very responsive and helpful to our special little requests :) We will definitely return to this property. Its a small, open loft cabin but “lives big” so you won’t feel confined at all. Beautiful piece of Heaven

Renting was the best thing we have ever done. The cabin is situated next to the flowing Yellowstone. Wildlife is all around and the home is wonderful. Much thoughtful care has been given to ensure a comfortable stay. Amenities were abundant, drinks in fridge, toiletries, first care….. anything you might need. I was so impressed. The owners were working on the property when we arrived. They were so inviting, kind, and very pleasant. I hope that we will return to this little piece of heaven in Pray

Quiet Weekend

Wonderful location and comfortable accommodation. We wanted a quiet weekend without TV and laptops. The wood stove was a nice touch. Owners very kind and helpful. One minor detail however, if you plan a winter trip, just know the area is a high wind zone during winter storms. The road into the property is not plowed on a regular schedule. We got drifted in after a winter storm. I made the mistake of driving our car that weekend. We had to get help shoveling and packing road down so that we could get out. Great place to be stuck however.

Beautiful cabin on river

This is a sweet cabin in a gorgeous location. Arrived to a warm fire already lit and fresh sweet rolls on the counter. Coffee and many breakfast options were available as well. Cabin was very clean with ample towels. Though the main bed was delightfully comfortable, the sofa beds were extremely uncomfortably. They did have a foam pad which helped a little bit. Also no tv on site which was fine with us but if you were hoping to curl up and watch your favorite show, you would be disappointed. Though in this beautiful place there is plenty to do so not having a tv was actually a very small issue.

Location, Location, Location

You are in the heart of Fly Fishing territory. The views from the cabin are amazing. The owners had the wood stove roaring and made brownies for our arrival. This is a fishing cabin on the river with awesome views. You can jump in the river right out the back door. Short drive to Yellowstone. Thanks, for letting us stay.

Romantic weekend in Livingston

This property is Heaven on Earth. It absolutely took my breath away and could not have been more perfect. Adorable Cozy cabin that had all the amenities of home. The views of the mountains and the river were absolutely spectacular. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property. The owners were incredibly responsive to my questions prior to our visit.

Great cabin on the river!

We had a wonderful get away in this cozy cabin! It’s a perfect distance from Yellowstone and Livingston. The hosts were so thoughtful to leave some wonderful snacks! We loved watching the deer and wildlife, as well as the boaters float by. It was a wonderful stay!

Spectacular view!

The view from the cabin is idyllic, incredibly picturesque! Communication with Dave, the property manager was easy and it was a pleasure to meet him. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable. This will be our new go-to in Chico!

In 2012 Megan encouraged the family to start a vacation rental business. During this time we have earned over 348 5 star reviews owning and managing the Lodge, Riverhouse, Bungalows, Fishing Cabin and now the Riverside Retreat. This year we decided to make a few major changes in order to focus more on our vacationing guests. We sold the Lodge, Riverhouse, and Bungalows so we could offer concierges style hosting to our Riverside Retreat and Guest Cabin families.

We bought this property because we fell in love with the location. The cabins are just a few steps away from the river, walking distance to a sandy beach day use area and boat launch. The Fishing Cabin and Riverside Retreat are on the same 5 acre parcel with plenty of privacy between the two cabins. They can be rented together at a discounted price. While the cabins are only separated by a short distance, the homes are set up perfectly for both individual privacy or large family closeness.

This cabin is Montana perfect! It's cozy with plenty of living space. To quote a few of our guests, the views are 'to die for'. The floor to ceiling windows and large deck offer the best in outdoor/indoor living. There is a picnic table and a large deck with two lounge chairs and two chairs with a table for outside dining. This property is perfect for couples looking to get away from it all during the offseason (Early May, Sept, & Oct). It's also a perfect compliment to the Riverside Retreat for larger family gatherings (checkout vrbo #1473426vb)
The outside of the property is just as awesome as the inside. There are 5 acres of Riverfront with easy access to the river for fishing and/or floating. Our favorite activity is to launch our tubes from the house and float to the day use!
