Eingebettet in eine abgeschiedene Gegend am Ufer des wunderschönen Lake Barkley befindet sich Driftwood Retreat, der Schwesterstandort des Edgewater Retreat. Dieses Haus bietet Platz für 20 in 6 Schlafzimmer. Auf der Hauptebene befindet sich das Hauptschlafzimmer mit einem Kingsize-Bett und einem kompletten Badezimmer, das zweite Schlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett und das dritte Schlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett. Our family Christmas

Very pretty property. We have stayed here several times for our Christmas get togethers. We always have enjoyed the stay. We play games, exchange gifts and eat a lot of good food.

Quiet and Secluded

We loved our stay at Driftwood! There were 8 adults and we found the house to have plenty of space to cook, eat, play games, and relax. The deer come right up to the house here! You may wish to note that the driveway is very steep and the roads leading to the house are curvy. The host was great, she answered all of my questions quickly.

Driftwood Retreat

Our family gathered here for a weekend. We're from Missouri, Tennessee, and Georgia...so getting to see each other is difficult. The house was perfect for accommodating seven adults and three children. Everything was spotless. The kids enjoyed the lake while one son caught three gigantic catfish!! We will definitely be returning! Thanks so much! accommodating .

*Great place!

Love your VRBO. Everything was great. Lots of kitchen stuff, lots of bedding, lots of towels, our family of 16 had plenty of room, even to all sit down and eat together. Everything needed for the campfire, including roasting utensils. Driveway is steep, deer is plentiful. The dock is great to have. Rented a double decker pontoon and a jet ski. We had a great time making memories in this place, went to the beach one day also.

Great location and home

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay with 21 family members reuniting. Plenty of space, lots of kitchen space and supplies, located right on a great lake spot for fishing, skiing, tubing and etc. We will definitely be back!

Minus a few missing door handles and a broken bed, which we were able to fix enough to sleep on, this place was perfect. Lots of updates and easily accommodated our three families with 6 kids under 5. We would definitely recommend it to others!

Loved this getaway!

We did a 14 person getaway trip for the weekend with the whole family. The house was in a wonderful location, with deer and squirrels in abundance. We use the fire pit two nights in a row. The grill was one of the Nicer charcoal grills that we’ve seen at a property. The house was very roomy. The pool table was in good shape. The DIRECTV, what little bit we used, worked really well. Plenty of room in the refrigerators. We never really ran out of hot water. For the most part, the beds are pretty comfortable, and the pillows were wonderful. The only drawback is the fact that they wanted all of the dishes done and put away, and you couldn’t leave until the towels were put in the dryer. It’s pretty difficult to get all of that done on the morning you’re supposed to leave. However, we did it. It was a wonderful place and no one really wanted to leave.

Great place for family fun!

Our multi-generational group of grandparents, parents, and grandchildren had a great time at this property. The large gathering area had plenty of room for playing games and eating for our party of 17. Many started each day with fishing off the dock giving some of our grandkids their first chance to reel one in! We brought a lauching pad for the kids to jump on in the water and they loved that. The kitchen was stocked very well and we used it a lot. We loved watching the deer from the deck too. Whitney, the host, was very responsive to texts. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for the opportunity for us to be together in one space!

Good place

Host very responsive. Overall we were very happy with the accommodations. The property is quite steep. Parking is fine for several cars. Walking up and down to lake is very challenging for anyone not in good shape. Elderly family member was restricted on movement due to steepness. Loved the numerous bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen was adequately supplied. Master suite was very suitable. Bring your own paper towels, toilet paper, bathing supplies and laundry soap. adequately secluded but helpful neighbor. Lots of deer. second refrigerator was a huge help. Plenty of room for everyone to mingle on decks. We enjoyed our stay and would reccommend.

Comfortable stay

Our stay was fun! There was room for all 24 of us. We all wish the internet service could have been better - but, it was vacation! The description let us know the driveway was steep. It was really, really steep and curvy. We had an issue with the dryer and the property manager took care of it promptly. Thank you for a fun, family vacation spot.

Ladies Retreat

Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. The ladies retreat was a huge success thanks to the sleeping arrangements and the fully stocked kitchen. We had everything we needed and more. The view was fantastic and the hot tub was an extra bonus! This rental is exceptionally clean and includes everything needed for a wonderful get-away. I am hoping it will be available for future retreats.

Smith family Christmas.

We stayed here at Christmas 2019.. after that we had the pandemic happen. The next year our son passed. It was a great time with family. Everyone enjoyed the lake house and the fire pit. A little bitter sweet for me. I miss my son so much. Thanks for the stay. Oh, we have two new members of our family our great grandsons, Tobi and Buck.

Driftwood Retreat

Family came from around the country for a fabulous reunion week! The house was clean, comfortable, well decorated, and well stocked with many amenities. We had a houseful of people, from small kids to adults, with no complaints. There is a great view of the lake and the location is in a more secluded area, very little water traffic. Nice to have a slip for the jet ski. Thanks to Phyllis for everything!

Great getaway for family vacation on a lake!

Thank you sooooo much for opening your fabulous lake house for my family get-together!! We had a terrific time using all the amenities. The weather was perfect- boated two days, and used our kayaks...got to use the fire pit because it cooled down at night AND as you know..I LOVED THE HOT TUB! Game night at the big table...went into town to see the Art Museum and the antique shops and they had a music fest on Saturday...Enjoyed the local restaurants! Bedding is waaay comfy! Enough equipment in the kitchen and in the linen closet to make it a perfect long weekend! Thanks AGAIN!!!

Perfect location

First I want to start with what a beautiful location! The deer presence is heavy and the water is perfect. This place has plenty of space for MANY people. We brought our boat down and used the dock which was very handy! The place has some plumbing issues. The primary bathroom toilet leaked around the base the entire time. It also is in desperate need of a deep clean. It was dirty. Hair in the couches, mold in the showers, etc. Very well stocked for any meals you may want to cook though!! I do suggest a gas grill. The ease of firing up after a day on the lake can't be beat! It was a great family vacation! The plumbing definitely has issues. The ma

Beautiful home on a beautiful piece of property - Perfect for large groups

I can't say enough about our stay this weekend at Phyllis' home. There were 16 of us that stayed for a birthday / couples retreat. There were plenty of beds, a large kitchen and dining table and enough bathrooms for all of us to share comfortably. The property is just beautiful. It was too chilly to enjoy the water but we loved walking around the property, enjoying the campfire and sitting on the dock. The hot tub has a beautiful view of the lake and the pool table definitely got a lot of use. We will definitely be coming back for another stay. Thanks so much, Phyllis!!

We loved sharing our home (Edgewater Retreat) . Our guest said that they loved our home and enjoyed working with us. They were not happy because it stayed booked all the time. They kept wanting time that we didn't have open. This home Driftwood came open and was near our other one. So we took it on in order to try to help our guest that wanted to come back for a visit.
We are so excited with Driftwood.
We just love meeting and sharing our homes with our guest.
Its nice to help make family memories .

Driftwood is a nice size home and near our home Edgewater Retreat. It sits on the water so you have easy access to the water. Its secluded and makes for a great get away.
Most of our guest come and meet up with other family members to have
a reunion . So with the size of Driftwood it works very well.
