Dieses Haus verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten im Obergeschoss mit einem gemeinsamen Master-Bad, die über einen Whirlpool und eine separate Dusche bietet. Beide Zimmer haben herrlichen Blick auf die Schlucht hinter dem Haus. Der Süden Schlafzimmer hat öffnet sich auf eine Terrasse, die perfekt für einen sonnigen Morgen Kaffee. Auf der Hauptebene ist ein zusätzliches Schlafzimmer mit zwei Twin-Size-Betten, die mir kam können, um ein Kingsize-Bett zu schaffen. Für Langzeitgäste, kann dieser Raum zu einem voll funktionsfähigen Home-Office umgewandelt werden und grenzt an ein Vollbad. Es gibt eine auch eine Gästetoilette Bad, Waschküche und offene großen Raum im Erdgeschoss. Der Wohnbereich verfügt über große Fenster mit Blick auf den immergrünen Ferry Dell Schlucht. Es ist ein Propan Kamin im Wohnzimmer um gemütlich bis zum kühlen Morgen und während der Winterstürme. Vom Esszimmer, Französisch Türen führen auf eine Westlage Deck auch mit Blick auf die Schlucht.

Dieses Haus ist eine gute WLAN-Verbindung, Bluetooth-Lautsprechersystem, Fernseher mit Kabelanschluss, Kaffeemaschine, Mixer, alle Bettwäsche, Handtücher und eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Fantastic location!

Our family stayed in this property for an extended time during our island home remodel. Leah was great to work with and the house was fully-stocked with everything we needed. The neighborhood is charming and we loved being able to walk across the street to Battle Point Park to walk the dogs. There's also a short path down to the beach along the Fairy Dell Trail with a killer view of the sunsets over the Olympics! Magical!

A great stay!

We had a lovely time in this charming property. It was very comfortable with a well appointed kitchen, dining area and lounge with couches and TV. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and a young person's bedroom and another bathroom downstairs. There is a spacious deck which would be great in summer. At the end of the street is the water and the other way a big park. The house is about 10 minutes drive from Winslow where there are great shops, supermarkets and restaurants. I would definitely recommend the house and location for a family holiday.

Another Lovely Visit

We were fortunate to stay at Fairy Dell twice this year and the second time was wonderful. This home is in a quiet location and the backyard is adjacent to a forest//trail system. My four kids had a blast exploring the backyard and eating juicy blackberries off a brush. What made this visit even more special was seeing a Barred Owl in the backyard four times! It was very cool. Battle Point Park is literally across the street and it is an awesome place to walk/run/relax. This home is very nicely furnished and stocked. It is also immaculate and it is clear how much effort they put into making the home ready for guests. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

Great Stay

A lovely home in a great location. Just walk across the street to Battle Point Park-awesome for walks, running, tree climbing or watching the ducks. Nice layout of the house and well-stocked with kitchen/pantry items. The home worked very well for my multi-generational family with four kids (aged 9 to 3). Highly recomend this home.

Lovely stay!

We'd been aware of this adorable home for awhile, and were delighted to find it had availability on our dates. It was just as charming as we'd hoped! Our favorite spot was the back deck, where we ate our meals and enjoyed a glass of wine after the kids were tucked in. Proximity to the park was fantastic, and we enjoyed a peaceful walk around the duck pond. We found ourselves wishing we lived there! Highly recommended for a restful stay on Bainbridge Island!

Great place, comfortable, easy check in and out

A great place to get away from the hustle of todays world, yet still connected if you want to be. The wildlife views, parks, access to shopping and the seattle ferry was excellent. Easy check in and check out instructions. We would stay there again.

Lovely stay at the Fairy Dell Cottage

My family of 5 and our puppy all enjoyed our stay at the Fairy Dell Cottage. I was so impressed with how well equipped this home is with everything you could possibly need for a home away from home. WiFi worked great and we were able to work from there, and the kids enjoyed their cozy stay too. 3 bedrooms meant we were able to spread out with my teenage son enjoying one of the two upstairs bedrooms to himself, and my two girls in the downstairs bedroom that has 2 twin beds. Not many TV channels so I wish I realized there is a DVD player and I would have brought some movies. Lots of great places to visit on Bainbridge Island and we felt like locals for our 5 day stay. Wonderful Home

Enjoyed this beautiful Bainbridge Island home for our 2019 family Christmas. Home was spacious, well appointed and very clean. Location was on a quiet street surrounded by big beautiful trees. Walking distance to the Ferry Dell hiking trail and a the large fantastic park. Host was responsive and always available. We would definitely like to enjoy this home again in the future.

Quiet and Remote

Want to get away? This is the place. The setting is lovely within a small enclave of other homes, which neither interrupt or upset the serenity of the location. The house is nice. Two large bedrooms share one bathroom upstairs. There is a small bedroom downstairs with one dedicated bathroom plus another guest bathroom. Kitchen, living room, and dining area are connected by open floor plate. Great deck for outdoor dining. Large park is within walking distance. Retail and dining options are all within 15 minutes drive, as is the ferry to Seattle. We enjoyed a comfortable and refreshing stay.

Lovely home

Leah's home was a perfect place to take our granddaughter for a week on Bainbridge Island. The home was very comfortable and spacious. We especially enjoyed the outdoor decks and backyard. There are lots of nice short hikes on the island, and it was easy to get to Olympic National Park for a day trip. We'd definitely return.

It's like a fairy tale

The listing does not do this justice. This location, island, trails, house, everything is like a fairly tale land. We had so much fun here. We will definitely be back, if we don't move here first.

Wonderful property, excellent owner!

We traveled to Bainbridge Island to attend a weekend. We had never been to the island before. We rented the property for our family of four (two adults, two teenage college kids). The house is beautiful, clean, well maintained and was a wonderful resting spot for my family. This was the last week of the summer and the only time my whole family was together before the kids head back to college. It turned out to be a very special time for our family. The owner was friendly and responsive. We had one question come up during our stay and contacted the owner who was very helpful. I highly recommend this property. Will definitely rent again if we return to the island!

Charming Home

This property is charming with well appointed rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and laundry. Our stay was part of a family gathering with our Southwest family members with our Bainbridge Island family. The photos do not do this home justice---the kitchen appliances are top of the line, and we used the gas range, oven to prepare a brunch for the whole gang of 10 on Sunday morning. The queen beds were comfortable, the master bath beautiful and spacious, and the downstairs bedroom and two baths made it comfortable for all who visited. Each bedroom was well appointed with ample closet space as well as spots to store things---each room has a dresser which we appreciated. We had two of our Bainbridge grandchildren spend a night each, so we could have some one-on-one with them. A short walk to Fairy Dell Forest rounded out our family day at this cottage and we were amazed at such splendor---if you stay here, don't miss it. In Seattle, we took the Locks cruise from Seattle Ferry terminal, and we really enjoyed this 3 hour tour of Puget Sound and the fresh waterways on the other side of Seattle. Taking the Bainbridge Ferry with the whole family just added to the fun of our visit. The only minor glitch we had was with our cable tv---it would connect, but not stay connected. Since we were mostly on Bainbridge to see family and catch up with them, we decided tv wasn't a priority. We turned on the charming gas fireplace and enjoyed each other's company. The owner of this property was very available should we need anything and her communication was excellent.

This cottage in the forest

This charming cottage was so peaceful and serene among huge beautiful evergreens. My favorite spot was the back deck where it so peaceful to eat a meal or read a book. The property was totally equipped with all you need to have a fun and relaxing vacation

Excellent!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay for the month of May in Leah's house. It is extremely comfortable and well equipped. The whole house was very, very clean. We were glad to have the use of the propane fireplace for those chilly mornings. We are familiar with the island, having made 4 previous visits in other locations, each for a month. Leah's house is right next to Battlepoint Park which has very nice paths for walking or running. Plenty to do on the island and so close to the Olympic Peninsula for scenic drives, picnics and exploration. Leah was very helpful and had a railing put on the porch to aid with the steep step. Thank you for a delightful month.

Cute, clean, well equipped.

This cute, clean and well maintained house was just perfect for our family as we celebrated our daughter's wedding on Bainbridge Island. Leah was very responsive by email and phone when I had questions before we came. Six of us stayed here, my husband and me with our son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren, ages 3 and 1. They stayed in the two big bedrooms upstairs and the two of us had the bedroom downstairs. It was great to have three bathrooms and a very nice kitchen. One day we all walked down the Fairy Dell trail, just 1/2 block from the house, to the beach where the kids loved throwing rocks in the water. The next day we walked to nearby Battle Point Park which had ducks on the pond and a huge, fun playground. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a long family weekend.

My background is marine science, having worked for NOAA Hazmat right out of college, but I have supported my family selling Real Estate on Bainbridge Island since 1998. I continue to be involved with the marine environment as an avid sailor, past member of the citizen's committee of the shoreline management plan, and a founding member of the Bainbridge Island Wooden boat festival.

I look forward to welcoming guests, offering a clean and restful retreat, and sharing with them all the joys that island life has to offer!

Being right next to Battlepoint Park and the Fairy Dell trail, it's so easy to stay connected to the outdoors by popping outside for a quick walk or bike ride. When the infamous Pacific NW rain doesn't cooperate, snuggling up by the fire to watch a DVD or read a good book or just sit and listen to the utter silence is a good substitute.

Making a trip into the City or out to the Olympic Penninsula is as easy as pie. There is even public transportation available all the way from the house to SeaTac Airport!
