Dieses schöne Selbstversorger-Studio ist hell, modern und komfortabel. Neu installierte Zentralheizung für 2018, um unseren Gästen Wärme und Komfort zu gewährleisten. Durch den Eingang finden Sie eine Einbauküche mit allem, was Sie für einen reibungslosen Aufenthalt benötigen, mit einem Esstisch und Stühlen. Weiter die Treppe zum ersten Stock Schlafzimmer / Wohnbereich auf. Hier finden Sie ein Doppelbett und einen großen Speichereinheiten finden. Es gibt einen Sitzbereich mit Fernseher und Kamin. Schiebetür zum Ensuite-Duschraum mit doppelter begehbarer Dusche, Toilette und Waschbecken. Eingebauter Kleiderschrank.
Das Ferienhaus befindet sich Little Lodge genannt und befindet sich gegenüber unserem Haus entfernt, das in einem Morgen attraktiven Gärten. Erreicht über elektrische Eingangstore und eine geschwungene Auffahrt mit ausreichend sichere Parkplätze.
Das Hotel liegt im Herzen der Landschaft, in unmittelbarer Nähe der Cotswolds, Bergisch Gladbach, Cirencester, Highworth, Kempsford und Lechlade. Wir sind in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Fuß von der Themse Pfad, daher ist es ein idealer Ort für Wanderer machen oder jemand einfach nur eine Pause weg wollen.
Es gibt Restaurants, Geschäfte und Freizeiteinrichtungen im Umkreis von fünf Meilen.
Unsere Gäste sind herzlich eingeladen, unsere Garten- und Sitzgelegenheiten zu nutzen, es gibt auch einen kleinen Innenhof, falls Sie etwas mehr Privatsphäre wünschen. Dieser Bereich hat einen Tisch und Stühle, einen Grill und eine Sonnenliege.

Superb

If you want perfection for your holiday stay in the country look no further than Little Lodge. I was looking for a retreat where I could enjpy peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings and I found it here. The Lodge has been converted from a former garage to a very high standard. It gives total privacy, yet the owner's home is a stone's throw away. For those wanting to explore the area the market towns of Faringdon and Fairford are close by and a visit to Lechlade will bring you scenic riverside walks. I just wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you, Sue and Malcolm for being warm-hearted hosts and for making my stay so enjoyable.

Fantastic cottage, beautiful village location

Little Lodge is perfect in every way. Very clean with all modern conveniences, beautifully decorated, very comfortable, quiet and peaceful. Delightful to sit outside on the covered deck in comfy chairs for morning coffee, enjoying the sunset, or an evening meal. Hosts Sue and Malcom (and their dog Marley) are welcoming and helpful with a wealth of knowledge of things to do in the area - walks, pubs, restaurants, shopping - anything you need! Highly recommend the fish and chips at The George, and The Jolly Tar does excellent food with a nice wine list. The Lodge has beautiful skylights with lovely pastoral views. I had such a lovely stay I didn't want to leave! Highly recommend for a weekend getaway, a place for visiting family or friends to stay or for a few days of warm comfort in the countryside! Best place I've ever stayed and will come again!

A place of rest and calm to recover from the daily visits to RIAT

This is really exactly what we wanted. Somewhere close to RAF Fairford (RIAT) yet it exudes great calm. We just loved resting in the gardens in the evening. Sue and Malcolm, our hosts were absolutely wonderful and we really enjoyed our evening chats. It seemed as though they could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Excellent Accomodation, Great Location.

This is a great little place with everything you need for a short stay in a wonderful rural setting. The accomodation was spotless, the kitchen fully equipped, the bathroom had a nice powerful shower and there was even a log burner. If you don't want to cook for yourselves there's some superb country pubs a short drive away. All in all a fantastic place to explore the southern end of the Cotswolds.

Rustig gelegen en knusse woning

Wij hadden een fantastische tijd in het kleine huisje bij Malcolm en Sue. Het huisje was mooi ingericht en schoon en fris toen we binnen kwamen. De keuken bevatte alles wat we nodig hadden. En toen we een cake in de oven wilde bakken, mochten we keukenspullen van de eigenaren lenen. We waren vrij om de overkapping die ze in de tuin hadden staan te gebruiken, dus we hebben daar een paar keer ontbijt en diner gegeten. Soms in het gezelschap van hun vriendelijke en knuffelbare hond. Naast de goede woning is het een goede plek om heel veel mooie plekken in de omgeving te bekijken. Wij zouden graag nog een keer terug komen!

Wonderful, modern and spotlessly clean

We had a wonderful 2 night stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The lovely little box with breakfast supplies in was a welcome surprise. Though I would have loved a little pot of jam to go with the croissants ❤️ the fresh eggs were a lovely touch. Gardens were fabulous and we used the bbq and ate under the huge pergola. It was an ideal base to explore the area and we particularly liked the rivers pub at Lechlade on thames, which was a 15 minute drive away. We also used the local facilities in Highworth where there's a tesco, Co op and lots of takeaways, pubs and a few independent shops. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and nothing seemed to be over priced. Malcome and sue were great hosts and we had a lovely chat with George about his pigeons. And Fudge the cocker spaniel was so friendly. All in all a lovely little break. Thank you Sue and Malcom!!

A very comfortable stay.

The property was extremely comfortable, very clean with very pleasing décor. Every comfort had been thought about with even a pint of milk in the fridge & croissants ! Set in a beautiful garden. Sue was very obliging, helpful but not intrusive. (Didn't meet Malcolm). Intermittent WiFi makes for a complete escape from all those trying to get to you ! Thank you .

Perfect retreat in the beautiful Cotswolds for our Wedding Anniversary weekend, can’t wait to return

Beautiful modern cottage, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Having the log burner was an added bonus as the 2 nights spent here in May were a bit chilly. Home from home accommodation!

A Wonderful Small Cottage!

Sue was super hostess greeting us as we arrived and introduced us to the cutest wee dog named Fudge. It was hard not to be "Dog Nappers" as Fudge stole our hearts every time he appeared during our stay. The cottage is well appointed and located close to many attractions such as Cambridge and Blenheim Castle. There are many pubs nearby that will satisfy you with a good evening meal. We really enjoyed the quiet countryside and beautiful location. Well Done Sue & Malcom!!

Excellent

This was a recently converted property in top class decorative order. It had china cups made of china, not the chunky Ikea-standard fare you seem to find almost everywhere. I mention this as an example of how the property was above average; I could cite many others. Our host, Sue, was warm and welcoming. The wifi connection is poor, but everything else is great, and I have every intention of returning next time I'm staying in the Cirencester area.

Absolutely delightful studio in beautiful grounds

We used Little Lodge as a base to explore the Cotswolds and it was perfect for this. But we should have planned more time at Little Lodge itself. Facilities were first class and the grounds were spacious and immaculate. With a huge comfy gazebo there to use. The photos and description don't do it justice. Sue our host was lovely, and very helpful. The secret bonus was Fudge the little cocker spaniel who made himself available when we needed something to pat, then left us alone to enjoy his domain.

Beautiful modern cosy cottage

Warm welcome by Sue - went the extra mile to make us feel at home. Lovely garden area to sit and gaze at the stars at night. Great get away from the city buzz. Limted wifi and signal but you can go up to the house to use the wifi if needed - but the beautiful scenery will keep you more than occupied! Highly reccomend - we look forward to a return vist :)

Malcom & Sue are blessed with two grown children & four very beautiful grandchildren - all of whom make our lives complete. ( not biased in any way)Malcom owns his own plumbing & heating Busines & Sue also had a hairdressing Business & is now retired. We both enjoy living in the country & walking our cocker - Fudge. We also have chickens - fresh eggs every day! We very much enjoy unusual, adventurous holidays, dining out our friends and family.

The property is ideally located. It is in a beautiful countryside location and is ideal if you are looking for a complete getaway. It is very quiet and away from it all. Although close enough to shops, pubs, restaurants and lots of country walks.
