LOFT 107 - VATIKANSTADT / S. PIETRO

Von einer Straße in der Nähe der Basilika von S. Pietro, durch eine kleine Tür auf der Straße betreten Sie einen Raum, in dem der Wundereffekt gewährleistet ist.
Diejenigen, die sich für dieses Haus entscheiden, werden sich auf einer Fläche von 120 Quadratmetern auf zwei Ebenen (Straßenebene und Innenhofebene) wohlfühlen, wo der Eingang, die Lounge, die Küche und die Nachträume zu einem "einzigen großen Raum" verschmelzen. (nur die Bäder sind geschlossen).
Zwei große, gewölbte Fenstertüren führen zu einem kleinen Innenhof.
Der Raum wurde gerade renoviert.
Im Zentrum finden Sie eine Oase der Ruhe und Stille.
Ein lustiges Detail, die Treppe, die die beiden Stockwerke verbindet, besteht aus Metall und wurde von der Außerbetriebnahme einer Fähre geborgen.
Das Loft ist mit heißer und kalter Klimaanlage, elektrischem Wasserkocher, Waschmaschine, WI-FI, 40-Zoll-Fernseher, Netflix, Bügeleisen, Fön und einer voll ausgestatteten offenen Küche mit allen neuen Geräten ausgestattet.

Großes Glück hinter einer kleinen Tür!

Man betritt Loft 107 durch eine wirklich kleine Tür, dahinter aber tut sich ein wahres Wunder von einem großzügigen, äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichteten und dabei ebenso wohnlichen Appartement auf! Man möchte gleich einziehen in diese Ferienwohnung! Der Empfang durch die Vermieter war ausgesprochen freundlich: Marco und seine Frau nahmen sich viel Zeit, um uns alles zu erklären und uns mit vielen Tipps über die Umgebung und die besten Plätze Roms zu versorgen. Man erreicht den Petersdom und die Engelsburg leicht zu Fuß und bis zur Metro-Station "Ottaviano" sind es nur ein paar Minuten. Die Wohnung ist so gut ausgestattet, dass man sich problemlos selbst versorgen kann, aber es gibt rundum auch genug Geschäfte, Cafés und Restaurants. Allzu hellhörig sollte man nicht sein, der Sound der Straße dringt schon bis in die Wohnung, was uns aber gar nicht gestört hat.

Tolle Location um Rom zu entdecken

Wir haben uns von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute rundum wohl gefühlt in diesem toll eingerichteten Loft. Es ist komplett ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht, super gepflegt und hat eine optimale Lage um Rom zu erkunden. Außerdem gibt es im Viertel alles was man braucht, vom kleinen Supermarkt über tolle Bäckereien bis zu netten Restaurants. Nicht zuletzt der sympathische Eigentümer Marco hat mit seinen guten Tipps unserem Aufenthalt zu einem vollen Erfolg gemacht. Wir haben extra eine zusätzliche Münze in den Trevibrunnen geworfen um sicher zu stellen, das wir wieder kommen. Dann hoffentlich wieder im Loft 107.

That's a place to be and to return too!

My wife and myself are together more than one hundred years old and have never been to Rome before - shame! It was time for a remedy. Well, our adventure "Rome" started quite stressfull, when our Irish airline dropped us on short notice. Because there were no approbate alternatives, we took the entire trip spontaneously from Aachen in Germany to Rome by car (1.452 km). Definitely not Marco's fault! Ruggedized as we are, we arrived Rome after a 14 hours ride nearly unscratched and almost with good temper and were heartily welcomed by Marco. After the first peep into his brilliant loft and a professional introduction into the facilities, the nearby premises and the "must have seens" of Rome our spirits lifted immediately. We enjoyed every minute of our two weeks lasting vacation and are now sure, that there can't be a better place for accommodation than Loft 107! That's definitely a place to be. And if there might be someone, who cannot find any reason to come back to the Italian capital, must have stayed elsewhere. Beside this magnificent city, Loft 107 is the best reason to come back - and we will!

An amazing apartment near by the Vatikan!

It was a real surprise, when the door was opened and we entered the apartment for the first time! A real nice, bright loft with a lot of space and very nice furnished! Marco gave to us a lot of helpful hints concerning Roma itself and the environment near by the apartment, thanks a lot!

Sehr gut gelegenes, zentrales Appartement mit freundlichem Gastgeber.

Wir waren Ende Februar mit zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Kinder im Appartement. Das Appartement ist dafür top ausgerüstet, zentral gelegen und ein super Ausgangspunkt um Rom zu erkunden. Marco ist ein sehr freundlicher und zuverlässiger Gastgeber mit prima Tipps.

Einfach nur perfekt

Wir waren mir unserem 4-jährigen Sohn in Rom und hätten keine bessere Unterkunft finden können. Das loft ist ein Traum, nicht nur was die Architektur und die design- Inneneinrichtung betrifft (man merkt dass hier zwei Architekten am Werk waren). Auch die Lage ist perfekt, sehr schönes Viertel mit fast nur Einheimischen, weg vom Touristenrummel. Vatikan und Engelsburg sind trotzdem in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und für die anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten hält die U-bahn und Busse direkt vor der Haustür. Marco und Fabienne haben uns tolle Tips gegeben für traditionelle, super leckere Restaurants um die Ecke. Überhaupt sind die beiden unglaublich nette Gastgeber. Bei unserer Ankunft hat ein grosser Kuchen, Obst, Wasser, Kaffee und mehr auf uns gewartet, ganz zu schweigen von der sehr herzlichen Begrüssung und den vielen Tips für Aktivitäten und Restaurants die eben nur Einheimische kennen. Wir haben jede Minute in dieser traumhaften Unterkunft genossen. Vielen Dank Fabienne und Marco für einen traumhaften Urlaub. Wir können das Loft nur wärmstens empfehlen. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Stylish Loft

What a cool space! The loft is a converted commercial space on the lower level of a residential building and the design and decorating are modern and unique. The master bedroom window is at street level, so we ended up sleeping in the lower bedroom and that worked out well for us. We couldn't have picked a better neighborhood - so close to the Vatican, lively but not too busy. Having access to a washing machine was a real plus too. Marco was a wonderful host - he met us for check-in, provided the info we needed and tips on dining, transportation, etc.

A Very Special Place

We returned to this property because it is perfection. The accommodations, the hosts, the proximity to wonderful restaurants and patisseries, with public transportation right at the corner, make this place an absolute gem. The apartment is lovely: the outdoor space and the beautifully appointed details make it tempting to just stay and relax, but Rome beckons! And when you have explored her many treasures, the apartment welcomes you back home at the end of the day. Perfetto!

Perfect Loft!

Loft 107 was exactly what we were looking for! The check in process was excellent! Marco and his wife met us there and walked us through everything we needed to know about our stay. They recommended restaurants, shopping and grocery stores.The location was is excellent. Outside of the main tourist attractions but a short walk to the metro and some really good restaurants!The loft is spacious and extremely clean. We highly recommend this for any family looking for a place to spread out and relax after a long day of sight seeing!

Perfect Getaway

Marco and Fabienne were fabulous hosts. Our train arrived early and we got lost trying to find their place. They were very patient with us as our GPS was not working. The apartment was so much better than the pictures online! Their attention to detail was incredible - they are both amazingly creative! We especially enjoyed the garden space. The location was convenient and the nearby restaurants were wonderful! Rome was our 1st stop on a 2 week week tour of Italy. What a great way to begin our adventures in Italy!

One of our favorite VRBO's ever!

Marco was an outstanding host. We have never had such a thorough welcome. We caught an earlier train than anticipated and he was very accommodating with the time change. Much appreciated! He walked us through the apartment and showed us how to work everything. He then gave an overview and written instructions to favorite restaurants in the neighborhood, and direction for things to do. He familiarized us with the overall layout of the city. We had been to Rome before but never in that particular area. Plus, Rome is obviously a big city. When he was done, we really had a good idea regarding general directions. The apartment is beautifully decorated and the furniture is comfortable. The bed was comfortable, showers good with plenty of hot water and strong water pressure. There is a nice large patio in back which we really enjoyed. The whole apartment is airy and roomy. The wifi was good and netflix was included. Truly one of our favorite VRBO's. Highly recommend.

Amazing Apartment....Amazing Hosts!

Our stay exceeded all of our expectations. The location was a short walk to the Vatican and very near the Metro. The apartment beautiful with lots of space for our family of four. The kitchen is very well equipped and having a clothes washer was a huge bonus. Marco communicated well with us prior to our arrival and then gave us a great tour of the apartment as well as information about the area. We had a wonderful stay. Grazie Marco!

Great property in a great location

Ideal property for us--two adults and two nine year olds. Prati is close to public transport and an easy walk to the Vatican but is not in the middle of the core tourism hustle and bustle. The layout of the loft was great for us--kids had their own space, but we could still keep an eye on them. The loft is beautifully designed--mix of traditional and very modern. Everything is mindful and well-executed. Everything is quality--from the appliances to the linens and towels. A/C worked great, which was very much appreciated during the hot Roman summer. Marco was a great host, staying late to share tips on everything from transport to dining options. Nespresso in the kitchen! Overall, a great experience.

We liked the house very much. It was located in a good location. Metro station is less than 5 min to walk and there are many restaurants and shops near the house that you can go for a meal or getting waters etc. The host was very informative that we got a lot of good information from him that we could not get from Google search.

Wonderful discovery

Marco’s loft is an absolute find! Beautifully decorated, comfortable, clean, great light. It is a short walk to the Vatican and located in a gorgeous neighbourhood with lots of local restaurants and cafes (not tourist traps). I would highly recommend this spot.

A Wonderful Experience

Not only was the property absolutely first class but the hosts Marco and Fabienne made the stay so much better. The property shows all the signs of flair that only two architects can provide. Everything to make the stay perfect was provided and excellent communication with the host made it all work even better. The property is located in a quieter neighbourhood, allowing a feeling that we were amongst local Romans and removed from the throng of tourists. But not far from all of the Rome attractions, especially when local transportation is utilised.

Magnificent loft in the heart of Rome!

Everything you may have read about this amazing loft in the heart of Rome is true and then some! The loft is a treasure hidden behind a small wooden door less than a twenty minute walk to Vatican City. My sister and I stayed for seven nights as we toured Rome and the Italian Open Tennis Tournament. We have stayed in many different rental properties over the past 15 years and this loft is tied for first place. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and of course very knowledgeable about the city. They gave us a detailed tour of their beautiful property and made us girls from Northern Ontario feel right at home. The loft has everything you need for a relaxing stay and the space is so thoughtfully designed and decorated it is obvious that care and comfort are key components. The loft is close to Vatican City, markets, many top tourist attractions and cafes, restaurants, shopping etc… Public transportation is one block away. All appliances are high end and in good working condition. The small courtyard is peaceful and private. The beds are very comfortable and both bathrooms well stocked and very clean. The dining and living space are cohesive and again decorated beautifully with antiques and artworks. You will NOT be disappointed if you and your friends/family rent this incredible space for a memorable visit to this iconic city. Thank you!

Unforgettable!

From the moment our charming host, Marco ushered us through the tiny door on the sidewalk, we were dazzled by Loft 107! The space was full of artful surprises, thoughtful design ideas and wonderful amenities. Comfortable beds, couches and chairs, (and blankets!) great showers, a fabulous, modern kitchen and magical outdoor space. The brilliant layout of levels offered privacy with 4 of us, while maintaining a great communal feeling. All this, AND such a warm and genuine welcome by Marco and Fabienne - who made us laugh and gave us such great guidance for our first, but hopefully not last trip to glorious Rome! We actually felt homesick when we left!
