Eine gemütliche, ruhige und komfortable Hütte inmitten eines Lebensraums für wild lebende Tiere. vor den Teton Bergen. Elk, Pronghorn, Bison und sogar Bären und Wölfe können gesehen werden
Rund um die Hütte zu verschiedenen Jahreszeiten. Die Kabine wird monatlich gemäß den Bestimmungen von Teton County vermietet. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um die Nationalparks und das Jackson Hole zu erkunden.

Eine neu renovierte (2014) voll möblierte Hütte mit 2 Schlafzimmern. Nagelneue Geräte: Waschmaschine / Trockner, Kühlschrank, Herd, Geschirrspüler. Internet und WiFi und TV via Satellit. Elektrische Heizung mit einem Holzofen. Es ist nicht genau LEED-zertifiziert, aber es ist energieeffizient mit allen LED-Leuchten und einer ausreichenden Isolierung.

Im Winter ist es nur für Abenteurer; Sie müssen zu Fuß / Ski / Motorschlitten ca. 400 Meter zu einer gepflügten Straße, die 15 Minuten von der Stadt entfernt ist. Unglaubliche Aussichten. In der Nähe von Moose, Jackson und dem Flughafen von Jackson.

One of a kind spot!

Perfect location

This cabin was the perfect location for my family’s vacation. We were in a great location for our hikes in the Grand Tetons and our day trip to Yellowstone. We then enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunset over the mountains at the end of the day. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a quiet place away from the summer crowds.

Home on the Range

You couldn't ask for a better location with the teton views being front and center. The host was very nice and easy to contact. We lived the loation also from not being far away from the airport , Dornans, and the ejtrance ti the Grand Teton National Park. You should also visit Yellowstone National Park.

We woke up to the sunrise over the Bridger Mountains and had a cocktail as the sun set over the Tetons. It was magic. The house was a comfortable base and very welcoming. Lovely walks around the property as well as convenient to destinations. We saw the leaves change color, and wildlife visited. A great place outside Jackson Hole.

Amazing stay!

We knew this place was special when we booked it, but it exceeded our expectations! You could not dream of a better location—5 minutes from airport and moose junction park entrance. Cabin itself is so cute, clean, and well stocked. It did not feel small at all, and we travelled with 3 adults and 2 small children. We enjoyed riding the provided bikes and driving the short distance to Mormon row. You cannot describe the view—-unbelievable. We’ve stayed at a lot of vrbos and this was our favorite. We hope to come back again soon.

Perfect Location!0

We had 6 people stay at the cabin, including 2 kids. It was a bit tight with that many people, but we really enjoyed our time here. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked. The view is beautiful! We enjoyed seeing a Moose running by early one morning and my kids loved the family of ground squirrels that had a den in front of the front porch. The bathroom also looks like it may have been updated since pictures were taken? Either way the shower was nice and we never ran out of hot water despite our large group. We also really enjoyed learning all about the Craigheads… their story is pretty impressive!

The trip and stay of a lifetime.

We stayed here as a family of four ( two littles, ages 4 and 5) during the month of May. Our time here could not have possibly been better. The view and location have to be the best. One evening there was a rainbow with elk running behind the house…. Absolutely magical. It was private enough that I felt comfortable letting my kids play freely outside, yet has one or two very respectful neighbors that you easily forget are even there. It was clean, VERY well appointed, and comfortable. Views from almost everywhere through big gorgeous windows in the cabin. Also, very close to a general store and NP entrance. Highly recommended!

Best Views Ever!!!!!!!!!

This quaint little cabin was perfect!!! Saw antelopes grazing everyday....and the little red fox so graciously greeted us on the porch steps 😁😁 no words can describe the outstanding views of The Grand Tetons .....we couldn't get over the Beauty. We can't wait to return.....this cabin was equipped with everything you need ...we donated two fans to the cabin (one for each bedroom) ...the nights were very cool but we were use to a blowing fan at home so maybe others can use them too ....we would recommend this gorgeous place to all our friends...:-) can't wait to return ❤️❤️

This was a repeat visit and there’s nowhere better to stay. All the home comforts with astonishing views and wildlife-visitors including moose. Stunning spot to watch the full moon rise and then set behind the Teton range. Perfect launching pad for adventures and perfect place to relax with a book and a drink. Excellent location, fabulous views

Craighead cabin is situated just a short distance off the main highway through the Tetons with incredible views of the mountain range. The cabin was well equipped and clean, with full kitchen and laundry. Easy access to the park for hiking and picnics and wildlife. We were greeted by a herd of bison on our first night. Mormon Row is just down the road from the cabin for a touch of history for those who are interested. Pricey yes, but worth every penny. I highly recommend the cabin for those who can afford it. Couples or a family of four will be very comfortable there. We had a wonderful stay.

Lovely home on the range

We spent a week at this lovely cabin in mid-August. The cabin was clean, comfortable and a well-stocked kitchen. The view of the Tetons is tremendous, and we enjoyed watching the herds of antelope and bison that wandered nearby.

Few people get to experience a place like this…where the magnitude of the Tetons is present 24 hours a day. It’s in the perfect spot…just far enough from town and the highway that you feel alone…but close enough to feel part of a community. If you love the mountains, this is the place to be. Incredible cabin in Grand Teton National Park

This might rank as the best VRBO property that we have ever stayed. Absolutely incredible. The Craighead cabin sits in a cluster of 6 or 7 privately owned homes that are located in the middle of Grand Teton National Park (surrounded by GTNP on all sides). The view from the front porch is a clear, unobstructed view of the center of the Teton Mountain range. There is no restaurant or hotel in Jackson Hole with a better view. The cabin is small, but was bigger than we expected. It easily sleeps 4 in beds and one more on the couch that folds out. 5 of us stayed here for 8 days, and we were comfortable. The full kitchen was adequate to prepare our meals. The town of Jackson, WY is about 20 min. drive away. We will stay here again. We love this slice of heaven!

The best view in all of Grand Teton!!!

This cabin made our trip to the Tetons. Not only are the views spectacular and the cabin is oh so quaint, but the history alone would make anyone honored to stay at this location. Do yourself a favor and look into the Craighead history and all they have done for conservation before laying your head to rest under their roof. It will make it all the better for you. Cabin was clean, quiet and had everything you could possibly need. Don't hesitate! Book now!

Zu Gast bei Lance Craighead

A lifelong conservation biologist. I was born in Jackson and have lived in and around here most of my life. I'm hoping to retire one of these days (I'm 68) and we're hoping that renting this cabin will help make that happen. We live in Bozeman, Montana, currently and have a property manager to help guests settle in and deal with any problems.

I love travelling and would like to provide an opportunity for others to live within easy reach of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks for a while.

My father and uncle bought 14 acres here right after World War II. Not long afterwards Grand Teton National Park was established and as the Park expanded it eventually surrounded the property.

Like having a wonderful hotel suite all alone in front of the mountains. The Tetons are truly awesome at any time of day or night and the view is constantly changing with the light and the weather. Grand Teton National Park is literally minutes away, and Yellowstone National Park is about 45 minutes North.
