Wonderful views, comfortable cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Beachfront Charmer offers splendid ocean views from a comfortable, well-kept home-away-from home. The cabin was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked, and the furnishings homey. Our two-week stay featured beautiful days, both sunny and stormy. In the stormy weather the cottage is solid--during a couple of high wind days, we could see the trees bend and the high waves roll in to the shore, but inside the house, the only indication was an occasional bang from the chimney cap. The cabin is at the end of a quiet, narrow street with no traffic noise at all. The beach access was too tricky for us, but we drove a short distance to Tillamook Beach campground and found a way to clamber down there. We agreed that we would stay at the Charmer any time it's open for guests when we are planning a visit to Yachats.

Fantastic stay! This was our third visit to the Beachfront Charmer and I know we’ll be back again! It’s comfortable and has a location that can’t be beat. The ocean views from the dining area and living room are spectacular and the easy beach access make it 5* in terms of location. The property has more of an older cabin feel and furnishings could use some updating but overall the location made for an excellent stay. We would definitely stay again.

Ocean view and quick access

Great home with character and space. Feels very private but only a short drive to the markets and shopping. Has direct access down to the beach which has very little foot traffic. We watched more seals compared to people. Thanks for sharing your home. Highly recommended.

We have been to this house many times before and it is always very comfortable for us. This time we even watched the tv which was easy to manage and much larger than our one at home. The fireplace didn't work either. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and adequate for our family. The stairs to the beach are new but the rocks at the bottom were impossible for us elderly people to navigate. It was nice being away from the highway.

It was time for our annual beach visit with our friends from childhood. The house was just right for us. We enjoyed long beach walks and whale watching right from the yard. We all agreed that we would stay here again.

The rocks at the bottom of the stairs to the beach are a little sporty but still a fairly easy way to get to the ocean.The deck is always wonderful for an afternoon relax listening to the waves. Great beach location

We enjoyed the location, views, beach access, and vintage charm of the house. The kitchen was great and well-stocked. Unfortunately the house really needed to be deep-cleaned, especially dusting shelves, cleaning under beds and in corners, cleaning furniture, etc.

The property was perfect for all things beach related…the view from the living and dining rooms, walks on the beach, dog walking on the beach, and the sound of surf at bedtime. The property was clean, a bit worn, but perfect for us and the ability to have my dog. Just lovely.

A Room with the best ever view.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house for ourselves, our son and daughter-in-law and four (almost five) year-old granddaughter. It was the perfect property for her first coastal adventure. The yard was perfect for toss games and an afternoon picnic. The bunnies were a bonus. The view from the living room window is spectacular. The furniture in the house for the most part is comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs. The bathrooms are clean and easy to use. The entertainment room nice for watching the NFL draft, although most of us chose to watch the ocean the second night and forgo the TV. The bedrooms are situated so everyone has some privacy but could still hear the girl if see needed anything. Compared to other houses we have rented this house could use a good deep cleaning and simple maintenance updates. We were disappointed that one bed had only the sheets on it, and we had to scramble around to find blankets to finish the chore. The BBQ was a mess and deemed unusable. Parking required a bit of creative backing. But the breathtaking view makes any short comings irrelevant. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the property and would not hesitate to rent it again.

Beautiful view

The view that you wake up to is breath taking! The home definitely needs updating. Duct tape on counter and windows. Couch was ripped and had holes. For the price it's hard to believe they wouldn't fix the issues.
