We had carpenter ants in the kitchen but maintenance tried to resolve the problem.

“Beary Cozy” Cabin Stay
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location and ease of booking were good! The staff was exceptional. However the cleanliness of the cabin was not good. There were bits of food left on the floor in multiple spots, more dust than I have ever seen in a rental, and the sheets had debris (bits of leaves it looked like, hair, and sand) in them as if they hadn’t actually been changed. It did not feel like the cabin was actually cleaned by the cleaners in between rentals and they just threw towels out and made the bed back up with dirty sheets. I would give the cleanliness a 1.5 or 2/5. Also it should be noted that floor in the kitchen was buckling up and was actually dangerous. It was sharp and if you’re not paying attention it could actually cut your foot. I’ve stayed in several cabins in the area over the years and this was my least favorite.

The room had blood on the wall, there was a half of roll of toilet paper and the resort did not provide toilet paper or clean towels. There were spider Webb’s all over the place and the dusting appears to have stopped for a long while.
