Sehr elegante toskanische Villa aus dem Jahr 1920. Der Wohnbereich befindet sich im Erdgeschoss und verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche, ein Esszimmer und ein großes Wohnzimmer von mehr als 120 m² mit Sofas zum Entspannen, einem alten Klavier zum Spielen, einem Kamin und einem großen Tisch für 12 Personen.

Der private, umzäunte Garten verfügt über 2 Swimmingpools, einer davon ist Wasserheizung und Luftmassage mit Luftblasen.

Stühle und Liegestühle und Tische stehen im Garten zur Verfügung, den Sie vom Wohnzimmer oder vom Esszimmer aus betreten können. So haben Sie direkten Zugang zum privaten Garten mit komfortablem Holzboden um den Swimmingpool (6 mx 10 m).

Der beheizte Pool mit Blasen misst 220 x 320 m.

Ein beweglicher Grill steht zur Verfügung.

Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich 2 Badezimmer, eines mit Toilette, das andere mit Dusche.

Vom Haupteingang führt eine lokale Steintreppe in den ersten Stock, wo Sie 7 Doppelzimmer finden (6 Schlafzimmer sind mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet), die einen geräumigen und hellen Flur überblicken.
2 Badezimmer im ersten Stock, eines mit Dusche, das andere mit Badewanne und Dusche.

Die Villa im authentischen italienischen Stil von Anfang 1900. Im Sommer ist es ziemlich kühl für die dicke Mauer des Hauses.

Es ist eine sehr schöne Gelegenheit für ein Familientreffen, denn es ist ein sehr komfortabler und erholsamer Ort für Kinder und Erwachsene.

Tuscany Villa

A wonderful working winery with a delightful host and staff. Very well located, 10 minutes from Greve, and great views(spectacular sunsets) from high in the hills. Facilities and villas style are just what you would hope for in Tuscany. Our group of eight adults were very happy with our stay.

Wonderful villa above Greve

Great location in the hills above Greve. Vineyards and olive orchards surround you in this beautiful property. Furniture was plentiful and well maintained. Our hosts, Elena and Agustino were very warm and welcoming. They made a special birthday dinner for us that exceeded expectations. Truly a memorable visit to their villa above Greve.

Idealic setting in Tuscany

We were three families, 6 adults and 5 daughters in their early 20s. The home is spacious and comfortable and the perfect setting for a large group. Elena, the host, could not be more pleasant, gracious, or helpful. This is a highly recommended stay. Tuscany is absolutely gorgeous and such a fun place for us all to be for a week. We did Elena‘s cooking class and really loved it as well.

Great Spot

It is a 30 minute drive to Florence. Which is perfect. Not too close but close enough. Tons of good wineries around. Small boutique wineries. Elena can help you with guides for wine or Florence. We had a wonderful time with her suggested guides. This can be a one stop for Tuscany. Grocery store is 10 minutes away with easy parking. Hope to stay here again.

Our family's stay was nothing short of exceptional!

Our family of 9 stayed at this cozy villa for 5 nights and had a wonderful stay! The host, Elena, was very attentive and provided multiple accommodations and recommendations for our week in Chianti. She and her team provided meals and tastings upon request, and she connected us with a wonderful winery tour guide (Filippo) who allowed us to really experience the region in full. Her farm's Chianti Classico wine and olive oil were excellent, and we placed a large shipment to our homes back in the States. The villa itself is perfect for a large family. A lot of room to spread out and have some private time, but also a lot of great group areas including multiple working fireplaces and opportunities to cook over wood grills, inside and out if you have the skill. Amazing views to say the least and excellent for kids. So many things to get lost doing on the property and around Tuscany. We have no complaints regarding our stay and will definitely book with her again in the future if we find ourselves back in the Chianti region.

Elena and her brother were wonderful hosts. There was plenty of room for our family and we enjoyed being close to Greve. All in all, we had a wonderful time celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. I can't say enough for the views, both in the morning and the sunsets. The wine and olive oil were also amazing.

Wonderful Vintage villa

we had a wonderful stay at the Villa. Plenty of room for our group and the grounds were charming. We had our own private pool, but also had access to the larger communal pool which the neighbouring villas used. Elena was great and she was very responsive to our requests even lending us her HDMI cable! We ordered in a meal for one of the nights from Elena, it was one of the best meals we had in our time in Italy. And her wine is of course delicious!

A family of 15

We brought our entire family for a week, 8 adults and 7 teenagers. Elena was wonderful to work with starting with accommodating the 15th person to making very helpful suggestions throughout the week. Also, their wine is wonderful! Unfortunately we were not able to take advantage of their preparing meals for us due to a long list of specific dietary restrictions. The views were wonderful and pool was a big hit especially considering the heatwave. It is quiet and very conveniently located just outside Greve. And finally, the piano was a pleasant surprise especially for our oldest grandson. So, the villa, location and service completely met our high expectations.

Beautiful villa in the Tuscan countryside

Our party of 7 adults and 2 children stayed at this beautiful 12th century villa and we all said it was our favorite stay compared to all of the other places on our 2 week tour of Italy. Elena, the owner of the agriturismo, and Anna Maria her helper, were welcoming and gracious throughout our entire stay. For an additional fee, we enjoyed great breakfasts before our days touring the countryside as well as delicious and ample dinners in the evening on the patio by our private pool. This is a working winery and olive grove and all of Elena’s wine and olive oil was out of this world. The villa was very spacious with plenty of room to spread out. Comfy bedrooms with great AC were welcomed after long days. It was fun exploring the property before dinner, taking a dip in one of the 2 pools, or just sitting and watching the sunset off the back porch.The villa is about 30 minutes to Florence and located conveniently to visit the wineries and hill towns. We also booked a wine tour with Fillipo, whom Elena recommended as well and had a great day. If you ever wanted to feel like you are stepping back in time with all of the modern amenities, don’t hesitate to book this gem, you will not regret it! Thank you Elena, for sharing your slice of heaven with us!

The highlight of our trip to Italy.

Our time in the villa at Fattoria Santo Stefano was the highlight of our trip to Italy. From the spectacular views, the spacious accommodation and the friendly hosts, this was the perfect stay for our group of 9. We had sooo much space and the 4 bathrooms + laundry were a treat we wouldn't find anywhere else on our trip. The pool was a wee chilly but the kids didn't mind! And i can't even begin to describe the views. Postcard stunning. Elena was a superb host, and a highlight of our stay was the cooking class we did with her! It was fun and interactive (and delicious!) and even our children were fully immersed. Located on a winery certainly had it's perks too and we were of course obliging clients determined to drink our fair share lol .. The surrounding community of Greve In Chianti is quaint and had all the amenities from groceries, restaurants, and a cute piazza. We rented bikes and explored the surrounding countryside and wineries which was a bucket list day for sure. It is a short drive in to Firenze or down to Sienna, and all the other must-see Tuscan villages along the way. We saw many parts of Italy on our trip, but ask any of the family, our stay at Santo Stefano was our favourite part.

WONDERFUL LOCATION, WONDERFUL HOST, WONDERFUL FOOD & WINE!!! BELISSIMO, SPETTACOLARE, PERFECTO!!!

We spent a week staying at this beautiful villa. SO much good feedback to share it is hard to know where to start. Huge space with 6 spacious rooms and 2 baths upstairs. All of the bedrooms have integrated A/C units which make even the hottest summer night totally bearable. The remainder of the villa stays cool and comfortable. Downstairs has two more bathrooms and full laundry. Kitchen is well equipped. Whole property has retained its original charm and character with modern touches that make it a great place to stay. The Location – The views from the Villa are STUNNING. We never got tired of the view, the sunset directly every evening across the pool and garden, miles and miles of beautiful Tuscan countryside. The pool is immaculately cleaned and maintained. Back patio/table space is beautiful and perfect setting for any meal. The Villa is only 6-7 mins drive direct into the town. The Host – Elena and her family and team are incredible. Attentive, caring, an incredible cook and a wonderful host all round. It was a fabulous family experience.. We have stayed in tens of vacation rentals around the world and this is certainly in our 'best of the best' list. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Amazing villa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a dream come true. The pictures on this site do not do it justice. It is more beautiful in person. We were a family of 10 tourimg Italy and this was our most beautiful locations and stay. The property is beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean and very close to many towns in the Chianti area. The landscaping is out of a magazine. Fragrant and beautiful flowers everywhere. We were there when the Jasmine was in full bloom and it just added to this incredible experience. The kitchen has everything you would want to cook and entertain. On site but not interring with your privacy is some accomadations for a B&B. They too had a pool which we could use if we wanted a different view from our exclusive private pool. Elena and her brother were extremely helpful and very patient. There are cooking classes on site which we took advantage of and have making the dishes that we were taught since we have been home. Elena is a wonderful teacher and one of the sweetest and friendliest host we have ever had. Sorry there are no negative points to report. Our 5 days went to fast, it was an experience we have always dreamed about and are so blessed to have chosen Santo Stefano out of the 100's of villa's we researched. You will not be disappointed, you will be amazed!!!!!!

Magnificent Villa & Location. Breathtaking Views

Our friends don’t believe the sunset photos are real. They are and were a magnificent climax to many of our amazing ten days living in the villa at Fattoria Santo Stefano in July 2023. The villa with a large chef worthy kitchen, plenty of comfortable living space and seven AC bedrooms was perfect for our family of eleven people including two kids. Its spaces under the great marble staircase or the 12 person dining table gave the kids joyful hiding place adventures. The pool, hot-tub and garden/terrace added additional space to relax each evening and share stories about everyone’s adventures or sit back with a glass of the villa’s own outstanding Chianti Classico and enjoy the splendid views. The photos on the website are accurate. Family owned, in the case of the Villa at Santo Stefano, means if you are there you become part of the family. Elena, her brother, niece and staff were present to us in so many ways and always warm, friendly and helpful. There were countless little gestures like bringing our laundry in from outside when it rained, providing some fresh eggs for breakfast from their chickens, etc. that made us feel welcome and at home. The added amenities of a wine tour and meal preparation are noteworthy and recommended. We had delicious lasagna, ribollita, tiramisu and fantastic crostini among other Tuscan treats. Piazza Matteotti, main plaza of Greve in Chianti is just 3 miles away, close to a grocery and a local bus stop to Florence.

Heaven in Tuscany!

Two families of four people, each with children in their 20’s, spent a wonderful week in August 2019 at this villa, just outside of Greve in Chianti. As the other reviews have noted, this property, and especially its hosts, are wonderful. Our stay exceeded our very high expectations. The villa itself is a beautiful old home with many large rooms. It is set within a larger property which has a B&B and wine and olive vineyards. The villa has its own (small) pool and whirlpool. The larger property has a larger pool which villa guests can use. We felt it was the best of both worlds — privacy if you wanted it, but the ability to interact with others and take advantage of the larger property if you wanted to. The villa has amazing views and sitting outside by the pool is heaven. The sunsets over the Tuscan hills are unbelievable. Our hosts, brother and sister, Elena and Agostino, were wonderful to deal with. Elena was very responsive before we arrived, and once we were there, she made every aspect of our stay wonderful. Elena cooked dinner for us several nights. The many-course dinners were incredible, and she adapted to the vegetarians in our group. As others have noted, the villa is up a windy dirt road. We thought that added to the charm, and there is no avoiding windy roads if you visit Tuscany. The location is terrific — 45 minutes drive to Florence and near many lovely Tuscan towns. We cannot recommend this villa highly enough.

Elena is the host you always hope for. She is always available in every way to make your stay fabulous. The villa is right out of old world Italy, but with all the modern conveniences. We especially enjoyed our cooking class with Elena and the delicious food we created. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Wunderbar!

Ein schönes Haus in fantastischer Lage! Für unsere 12-köpfige Gruppe aus 3 Familien waren die 7 Schlafzimmer ideal. Den großen Pool der Appartments konnten wir nicht mitbenutzen, aber der zur Villa gehörige Privatpool und der Whirlpool sind toll (auch wenn wir den Whirlpool nicht so recht warm bekamen). Elena und ihre Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und stehen für Fragen immer zur Verfügung. Es war für uns alle eine schöne, erholsame Ferienwoche mit kurzen Fahrzeiten in die sehenswerten Städte der Toskana (allen voran Florenz).

Magical Stay in Tuscany

Our recent stay at the Villa on the Santos Stefano Vineyard was wonderful! We had a party of 8 staying there for a week and the accommodations were perfect. The photos on VRBO can’t capture the views from the private patio and pool area. Sunsets were phenomenal! The best part of this stay was the delightful hostess Elena! When we arrived there was a huge bowl of fruit from their garden on the kitchen table and the fridge was stocked with water, several bottles of wine from the vineyard and cheese. Elena gave us a tour of the villa and then we were given a wine tasting of their wines just steps away. Breakfast can be arranged in advance and it is worth the additional cost. It is an amazing spread with eggs, cheese, juice, croissants, meats, fruit, you name it. The croissants are baked fresh every morning and are the best I’ve ever had. Elena was so helpful in recommending and helping us make dinner reservations at local restaurants. They were all fabulous! I would also recommend scheduling a cooking class with Elena. She is an amazing chef. Our group took the cooking class and she was wonderful making sure the 2 children in our group were included in the fun. We made tempura zucchini flowers stuffed with sardines for an appetizer, homemade gnocchi with basil and garlic pesto, chicken with the most delicious tomato sauce, and tiramisu for dessert. We ate our delicious meal in the beautiful courtyard watching the sunset and drinking their fabulous wine! In addition to the wonderful Elena, the other staff members were delightful! It’s a family operation and we were treated to a tour of the wine cellars and vineyard by Elena’s charming niece, Irene. Also, Elena’s kitchen and housekeeping staff were so lovely. They did not speak English nor we Italian but somehow we were able to communicate and their warmth was felt! I must also give a nod to the vineyard cats, Billy and Romeo, who entertained my granddaughters the entire stay. My favorite memory from our visit was on our last day as we were carrying out our luggage. We heard “arrivederci!”. We looked across the street and one of the kitchen staff had opened her second story window and was waving goodbye to us with the sweetest smile! This is a truly magical place that goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome! Bravo to Elena and all! We will be back!
