Mit einem offenen Grundriss dieser ein perfekter Ort, um Urlaub mit Familie oder Freunden. Die warme, lebte-in fühlen dieses Haus bietet kommt von Jahren unsere Familie wirklich liebevolle dieser magische Ort, den wir als "das Ufer Haus".

Unsere Familie macht seit Erinnerungen hier seit 35 Jahren. Wir haben unser Haus zu Ihnen geöffnet, um die Ruhe des Crystal Beach teilen. Das Hotel liegt am Ende einer ruhigen Sackgasse, diese Bucht vor Haus erwartet Sie. Kommen Sie zu entkommen die Massen und genießen Sie den Privatstrand direkt vor der Haustür. Calm flache Wasser der Bucht machen es ideal für den Start ein Kajak oder Paddle Board und für kleine Kinder zum Spielen. Bringen Sie Ihr Boot oder mieten Sie eins in der Stadt. Es gibt einen öffentlichen Start verfügbaren Blöcke des Hauses.

Wir lieben die Fern Gefühl hat dieses Haus aber es ist nur ein paar Meilen von der charmanten Altstadt von Onancock. Mit Gefühl, seine Handwerker, bietet Onancock Restaurants, Galerien, Antiquitätenläden, Bäckereien, Kinos, Boutiquen und ruhigen Straßen zum Bummeln ein.

Lovely and Magical

This bayfront cottage was the perfect weekend getaway. Shortly after arriving we saw a bald eagle fly into the sunset. The stars at night were absolutely amazing and the cottage was cozy and comfortable. It was a short drive to the little town of Onancock with grocery, restaurants, and shopping. We will definitely return with family in the summer so we can enjoy swimming in the bay and create lasting memories!

Perfect get away

If you are looking for a classic Delmarva get away, this is the place to go. Many of the locations down here have become overcrowded, but this is what it felt like 20yrs ago in southern DE.

Wonderful getaway!

We had a very special stay. It was even better in person than the listing. Very private, quiet, and relaxing. The water was very shallow which was perfect for our young kids. They found lots of wildlife to explore and learn from. We would definitely consider coming back in future.

Quiet down time

Wonderful getaway!

This cozy location was so delightful. It was secluded, quiet, felt like you were in the middle of no where with no one to bother you, even though a few houses are around it. Just very peaceful and relaxing! The owner was super flexible and accommodating! She also gave us info on how to rent kayaks that are delivered to the house! We didn't want to leave! Much like going to grandma's house (on the bay). :)

Great private cottage!

The cottage is a great place to get away. We enjoyed the beach and surrounding area thoroughly. The house lacks privacy as there are no doors on the bedrooms, but just curtains separating them. The lack of washer and dryer was a bit of a letdown because of my kids. It would have been nice to have access to laundry. The kitchen is very well stocked with every utensil day you could need. The sunroom twin bed was great for my son who loved to watch the sunsets. Overall we had a great stay.

Quiet and calming

The area is very quiet and secluded as it is about 15 minutes out of town with only a few neighbors. Nice views, especially sunsets over the bay. We enjoyed the wildlife activity as there were several herons, egrets, horseshoe crabs and even 2 bald eagles. A quaint little family cottage. On the cons side, the recliner sofa was uncomfortable as it fairly broken down and doesn't offer much support. The bedrooms do not have doors, just curtains across the opening so not very private if traveling with kids or other couples. And you have to go through the middle bedroom to access the main bathroom and other 2 bedrooms.

Tranquility

The house was great. Great location. Peaceful and tranquil to say the least. We were there for the full moon and it lit up the water perfectly. We relaxed by the water, watched the birds(saw two eagles) and just had a great time. Would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again. The host was great. Answered any questions we had and made sure the house was perfect for us. We were sad to leave but we will be back

We absolutely loved our stay, and interactions with the host were above the call of duty: perfect communication, flexibility, and responsiveness. And when we accidentally left my son's watch they kindly mailed it back to us! Can't recommend highly enough.

Lovely spot, lovely house

It was just what I was looking for. Being on the water in a house that felt like a home. The sunset was breathtaking and Onancock is such a neat town to explore and have lunch. Hurricane Ian took a couple of days away, but it was made up for with a glorious sunny Indian Summer day. What fun exploring the shoreline, watching the egrets and just soaking up the sun.

Just Wonderful!

We have stayed in lots of cottages and places over the years. We choose this property for our 50th anniversary celebration....just the two of us. SO, this is the absolutely best place we ever stayed in......not counting Italy. Just saying. Location - wonderful. House so so clean and they have every kitchen item you would ever want! The decor is very eclectic- again perfect for us. All needs have been considered. I hold the cottage and this experience very close. Thank-you for everything (gift).

Sunsets and starry skies

Bring a telescope (and bug spray) to look at the stars and the Milky Way. We saw plenty of shooting stars! It’s a great place for family with children. We loved every minute of it and hope to go back next summer. Thank you to the Moran family for opening your home to us.

A Peaceful Place

The house was lovely and very spacious. Didn't like that we had to pick up glass on beach, we bought water shoes to protect our feet. Found several ticks, but that's the nature of nature! The town was very quiet, would have liked a little more activity. We discovered a delicious French restaurant named "Maurice." It's a great, peaceful spot to relax, paint, and read. Loved the white heron that visited every morning and evening sunsets. Good for young children because the water isn't deep.

A Little Piece of Heaven

The home was very lovely, perfect location by the water with beautiful views. The house was very clean. Neighborhood is quiet in general. Great place to unwind and renew! It was perfect for a much needed time to relax and think. We saw horseshoe crabs spawning at the shore the evening we arrived, but did not see any the rest of the week. The water is shallow perfect for smaller children. Not deep enough for older children to actually swim. Sage's Cafe is a must!!! Great food and great service! Go hungry!!! Overall we enjoyed our stay! Bug spray is a must if your going to be out in the evenings. Thank you Leslie and your family for allowing us to take advantage of your lovely home for the week!!!

Beautiful and Peaceful

Amazing views and lovely location. The loft bedroom was amazing but the stairs to access it were a little too steep for older folks to navigate. The owner was very responsive and took care of our single problem immediately. It was a very relaxing and comfortable stay.

First trip to the Eastern Shore

This was our first time visiting the Eastern Shore. The location of the house was great for our family with 3 young children. Being right on the water with our own little beach was perfect. We rented kayaks for the length of our stay and boy was that a hit.

rough check in, positive experience

My husband & I recently stayed at this property. It is just a few miles from Onancock, Va.,, right on the water. Has wonderful views. We did have a very rough check in, as the cottage had not been cleaned between our arrival ( at 4:30pm, with check in time of 4pm), & previous guest. It did take numerous phone calls ( and several hours) before we could get the host to call us back. By that time my husband & I were very upset, not knowing where we would stay for the night. After finally talking to the host, we were told we would be put up for the night at a hotel in Onancock, and could check back in the next day. So, we stayed in Onancock our first night, we did get a refund from the host as well as a voucher for dinner at the hotel. Once we were finally able to check in again, the cottage was clean. Pictures as on website. Nice kitchen with most anything you would want to cook. It has one full bath & a half bath. Nice living space with tv, dvd's, lots of books, magazines & games. Also has a nice sun room facing water, with small table & chairs, sofa, chairs & single bed. Even had a bin with beach towels to be used. Cottage has nice views. Could sit on deck & listen to water. Beach area isn't very large, but we walked little ways & beach area was larger. ( also saw a water snake, and I am scared of snakes, so didn't go back in water after I saw the snake). I didn't like that there weren't any curtains on door or many of the windows. The house is near the end of the road, but there are a few other houses around. Also, make sure you have bug spray as flies, gnats & mosquitoes were bad. All in all a nice cottage.

Zu Gast bei Leslie Baltimore

Built in 1911 and moved from Accomack to Crystal Beach in 1946. Mary and Moe Moran bought this little cottage in 1979, as a 1 room cottage with a small attic and wrap around porches. Located just an hour and a half away from their Virginia Beach home, it was the perfect getaway for them and their three children. After being damaged during hurricane Floyd in 1999, the cottage was raised onto pilings and remodeled, using most of the original structure to insure the charm of the home. Over the years, the three Moran children have each had children of their own. These three generations have gathered each summer for 'Moran's Cousins Camp'. We come from Virginia Beach, Richmond and Ohio to fish, crab, kayak, swim, and reconnect as a family. Many happy memories have been made here. Come create your own memories.
