Perfect Family Christmas!

We loved our stay here so much. The home has such a unique layout that worked so well for multiple families. Spaces to be all together, but spaces for people to be on their own if they wanted. Beautiful spot for a family reunion

It should be noted that if renting through VRBO, Clay will still have you sign a lease and later (days before arrival) also sign a 12-page operations document. There are some rules not made clear on the VRBO listing when booking that would have been nice to know ahead of time, including bringing all of your disposable items (toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, etc.). We didn't mind, but would have liked to know ahead of booking, and felt the operations document could be made available before booking or key items could have been listed in the VRBO description. All that being said, we did have a wonderful stay at this house - the rooms were big, everyone had a bed, it was very clean, and the views and property were gorgeous. It's a trip we will all remember forever - thank you to Clay and Angi!

Just a perfect weekend.

5 couples who have been longtime friends. We have been going to VRBOs for over 23 for a fall getaway and this is one of the nicest. I think we spent the most time in the open area between the house and the garage. It’s covered, has a huge fireplace and a beautiful view of the lake. Everything is meticulously spelled out before we arrived and all our needs were met. The owners were great to work with. Hopefully they will let us come back for many years.

Three Generation Dream House

What a wonderful stay we had at this property with our adult children and grandchildren. The home and property were even better than advertised. Labor Day trip with friends

We’ve be going on Labor Day vacations, between 4 families (11 kids total), for the last 3 years. This house more than accommodated a group of our size and the amenities were perfect for young families. Great outdoor space, big yard, and a sandy beach. Spacious, grand, well kept, and a good location.

We stayed here with seven adults and four children. There was tons of space for us, which can’t fully be seen in the photos on the listing. The place is really really nice, a grand cabin feel like something you would experience in the mountains out west. We loved the stay, and I’d expect it’s even better in the summer. Close to bars, a brewery, coffee shops, and a market. Would recommend this place to large groups!

A Thanksgiving to remember

This property was a perfect fit for our family Thanksgiving week long celebration. The two kitchens made the meal prep so easy. There is such great living space on multiple levels which provided privacy and very adequate room for the kids to play and the adults to enjoy conversation and beverages! The view of the lake from the big windows was priceless and so amazing to wake up to each morning. We were able to take the kids star gazing at night and have an outdoor fire in the dog trot along with hot cocoa. The snow we received right before our arrival gave an enchanting northwoods experience for all of us. Being allowed to bring our dogs made it seem more like home and we are so grateful for that. Clay and Angi were available and quick to respond to any questions. The multiple bedrooms, main floor master bedroom, multiple fireplaces and overall lay out of the home was fabulous and very accommodating for our 2 daughters/ son in law, 4 grandchildren and ourselves. Beautiful home and property

The photos do not do this house justice. It easily accommodated 8 adults and 5 children ages 5-9. 6 bedrooms plus sleeping nook were very comfortable. The beach was wonderful for the children with plenty of space for adults to sit. Ox Lake is clear and calm- perfect for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding.

Stunningly beautiful property!

We were fortunate to stay at this beautiful property for our annual summer vacation. 3 families with a total of 6 children under age 7 stayed in this lovely home. The house is wonderful, large enough that everyone has their own space. The views of the lake are gorgeous and peaceful. The children played on the beach and in the perfectly clear lake for hours on end, every day, and never got tired of it. The homeowners are incredibly responsive and helpful. This was the perfect property for our vacation, and we hope to come back next summer!

You will be right across the road from the Whitefish Chain of Lakes so if you want more action you can have it within minutes. We have our own landing capable of handling jet ski or small aluminum fishing boats. For larger vessels you can put in numerous places on the Whitefish Chain or rent a boat or pontoon through us.
