We had a lovely stay at Fairwinds, a very charming home where we stayed for two magnificent weeks. We just fell in love whit Jekyll Island and all its beautiful nature. We were particularily seduced by the beauty of sunrises/ sunsets and long walks on the beach trying to never miss one… We sure wish to come again! Martin and Sophie from Joliette/Laval Canada

We had an unexpected power outage during our stay due to intense storms and a ceiling fan malfunctioned after power was restored. Jekyll Realty sent a contractor within hours to remove the ceiling fan and check for other issues. Very responsive and professional.

Absolutely Wonderful House

We love this house! It was perfect for our trip. It was everything promised and more. The spacious common areas were great for spending time together. The Jekyll Room offers spectacular views; we saw so much wildlife in the back yard. We’re already planning our next visit!

Great location

Great location. Very clean and comfortable. Beach is a short walk or bike ride away. Quiet. Property came with a beach gear rental voucher which was handy. Definitely considering returning in the future.

A quiet stay with all the amenities of home

We enjoyed the location of this property. Located in a quiet little neighborhood. Everything on the island was just a short drive. Got to see the lights with our son and relax after Christmas. Easy arrival and key drop off processes when we left

June 2021 Stay

As always our stay was wonderful. We love the island and the people. Everyone is so friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for families. The island has many different types of wildlife from deer to alligators along with all the shells and sand dollars. Jekyll Realty is a great place to rent from. Their staff are the best!

This odor intensified when the AC was off and the ceiling fans were blowing down....almost as if attic air was being pulled down thru the perforated ceiling tiles.Overall this property is Excellent, but I could not recommend it, due to the infiltration of attic air in the bedrooms.

The location was convenient to the tennis courts, and generally at the center of activity on the island. I like the fact that the owners appreciate local bird life and have provided feeders and books about birds. The kitchen is well equipped, and the whole experience was quite pleasant. Jekyll Realty was very obliging on the rare occasions when I reported minor problems. I hope to return to Fairwinds.

We spent Christmas week on the island and were able to successfully host dinner for 11 with a well stocked kitchen and spacious layout. The house met all our needs. It was clean with the exception of kitchen drawers that could use a sprucing and cabinets and white doors that could use a magic eraser. Jekyll Realty was very responsive when we called!! Spices were expired, but we brought our own so not an issue. Overall a wonderful stay and would recommend to families! Great house!

Loved spending Christmas week on Jekyll Island with family. The light display and decorations were magical throughout the island. Enjoyed horseback riding on the beach, sunrises, sunsets, and much more. The house met all our needs for holiday entertaining and comfort. Lovely place with beautiful artwork. JR was very responsive when we called. Great company to deal with. Would rent again!

October 2021 Stay

We enjoyed our stay! The Jekyll Realty staff is super friendly, made check-in easy, and gave us a great bag of needed items. Fairwinds is beautiful and comfortable, felt like home! We went on the Sunset Dolphin Tour, the Trolley Tour, sat on the beach for a sunrise and sunset, walked on the pier, and flew kites on Glory Beach. We ate at the Wharf and got takeout from Wee Pub to eat at St. Andrews. Everything was delicious! So much to do, so little time! The weather has been perfect and we are sad to leave...but we will be back!
