Das Chart House und das Red Lobster Restaurant befinden sich beide auf dem Gelände. Das Ala Moana Center und der Beach Park (mit öffentlichen Tennisplätzen) sowie der Waikiki Beach Walk mit seinen vielen Geschäften und Restaurants befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Great location condo

Great harbor view, good location, lot of restaurants within walking distance. San Poala pizza a must go. The Chart House on flooor 1 has live music every night. Right across from Hilton lagoon. Waikiki strip1 mile away. Beautiful sunset location. Condo has private bedroom and sofa bed was good for 13 year old. Kitchen had everything we needed. Very clean. It is older but everything worked fine. Quick and easy communication with management. Able to get in a little early and stay until noon on Checkout.

Week long Stay-cation

We chose this property as it had room for our sister to sleep in the living, and us and her to have privacy, and it had an ocean view. And of course the cost was reasonable compared to other ocean view places. Upon arrival, we contacted the manager who texted us the check in info and everything went smoothly. The condo was comfortable, and wasn't so high that it was a pain to go up and down in the elevator, but had a great marina and ocean view. We even saw whales! We also liked that they had coffee filters, which we forgot to bring. The parking garage rates had just gone up so was a little costly to park, but still cheaper than the Ilikai. AC worked well.

Not Pleasantly Surprised

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have used Captain Cook for our previous excellent condo rentals and somehow this one snuck through the cracks. I have had several emails sent to Petra from operations in Captain Cook and her responses were kind and caring. BUT, this experience was unacceptable on every level in contrast to ALL our other vacations that Captain Cook has nurtured us through. Coming into the unit reminded me of a FRAT HOUSE.Dirty and broken and run down. Enamel peeling, lights broken, rust and just filthy everywhere. AGAIN...Petra was NOT the problem...this condo has been overlooked and the advertisement was NOTHING like the actual. I could say much more and i would just repeat myself. Finally to top it off... the suite has BED BUGS. I actually pulled it off my back and left it on a white towel for the staff to see. Petra was notified and was having the suite fumigated. This condo needs a MAJIC ERASER in the worst way.

Wonderful condo

What a wonderful condo with Amazing views. The condo was sparkling clean. There were plenty of towels for bath and beach. The bed linens were clean and fresh. The bed was super comfy. The check in and parking were easy and simple. The neighborhood was great with lots of things near by. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking out into the ocean and watching the boats and people. I highly recommend this place.

Well stocked unit in a great location

The unit was in a great location, and it had an amazing view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The kitchen was well stocked and having beach towels plus a few other beach items available was great. There were a couple of challenges, one having to do with the current construction on the first floor which is out of the control of the unit's management, but they resolved what they could. We recommend staying here.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’re new to the vacation rental world, having only stayed in one rental before this one. Our first experience wasn’t the best, and we had high hopes for this one. We wanted a place that offered affordability, a kitchen for cooking, and free parking. We parked our rental in the building; however, it wasn’t free ($28/day)! Perhaps I didn’t read everything as well as I should have. Ramps would have been more convenient for our luggage versus hauling it up the stairs to the elevators.Check-in was a breeze. We didn’t meet the property manager, but they still provided answers to our questions. The condo is cute, decorated well, and bathed in gorgeous natural light that streams through the large windows. The bed was clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a day spent with friends, and exploring the area.The kitchen is well-stocked. The frying pans are in good shape, although larger lids that fit would have been perfect. Knowing the unit had a blender, I brought my protein shake supplies to drink each morning.The condo is older and requires several upgrades. The top rack in the dishwasher is missing a stopper to keep it from coming off track, so my husband taped it to stop it. The plug-in outlet by the stove didn’t work; we unplugged the toaster whenever we plugged in something else. We were surprised to find two cockroaches on the kitchen counter when we came home one evening. My husband, who lived in Hawaii for seven years, said they are to be expected and hard to get rid of. Despite being serenaded by construction noise at 8 am, we would return and will recommend the condo to our friends.

So suitable room if you join Triathlon Race in Ala Moana Park.

Reviewer Comments: I stayed at this room for the purpose of joining Triathlon Race held in Ala Moana park. It was convenient for me since I could get my bike into the passenger lift when go out and no need to say good access to Ala Moana park, only 10-15 min by walk. Even it looks old but the room was kept in clean and well furnished.For cooking, you can use Calphalon pan, equipment in this room, in electric oven since it is oven safe up to 400 degrees F.I really enjoyed my holiday and it was so comfortable in this room with very nice ocean view.

We love the walking and Bike bikes, never needing to rent a car except to go to Kailua and Pearl Harbor. The condo was lovely and well maintained. Paul was a gem to work with and secured a late check out which was greatly appreciated. All Captain Cook staff were quick to respond and were very helpful. The condo was very cleaned well maintained (a nice broom to replace the older corn broom would have been a nice addition).

Property manager was excellent. Had an issue with the AC and he was there in 10 minutes and fixed the problem immediately. Late checkout request was accommodated. Communication was great. Sunset views were amazing and location was great. Unit was stocked with all required amenities. Unfortunately this unit was old and tired. Not as it was portrayed in the pictures. Many things needed repair or replacement. Shower curtain had mold on it. Toilet paper holder was broken. Ceiling was peeling off and looked moldy. Local phone did not work. No in unit safe. Some roaches were found in the kitchen. Thankfully, there was roach spray under the sink:) Nothing that required us to spend time attempting to have fixed, but for the price point we expected better. Overall an acceptable unit, just needs some TLC.
