Für die Abenteuerlust, ist unser Fluss vor Ferienhaus am Ufer des Allegheny River-- perfekt zum Bootfahren eingebettet, schwimmen, Angeln und Jagen. Sie lieben nur, um sich zurückzulehnen und den Fluss rollen sehen durch.
An der Hütte, bieten wir mehr als nur ein Ferienausflüge. Wir bieten die Möglichkeit für die Gäste selbst die Wunder in der Natur eintauchen - zu den Klängen von Singvögeln zu wecken, sehen die Adler fliegen und am Ende des Tages mit dem Pop und Knistern des Lagerfeuers, die kühlen Fluss Wellen zu spüren, in frisch zu atmen Bergluft und Jagd oder Fisch in den Allegheny National Forest. Unsere Riverfront Retreat ist eine Flucht aus dem Alltag.

Deer Camp

We have been staying in the camp for the last 6 years for deer season. We have nothing but good to say about the place . Down to the smallest details , just an awsome place . We plan on keeping the tradition going in the future . Great camp , great owner. Can’t wait till next year !

Relaxing getaway

We loved our stay at the Riverfront Retreat. The cottage had everything you could need. There were plenty of Kcups and firewood which was great. We used both outdoor fireplaces. Beautiful deck down by the river. The nights were very cold while we were there though the inside was plenty warm. We would recommend this place.

In town for wedding

Awesome stay!! Cute cabin with amazing outdoor experience. Everything we needed and wanted. Host was awesome about communicating regarding a storm coming in to make sure we knew what to do if power went out, which it did. But we were ready. Will stay again!

Perfect place to relax for the weekend

Such a cute little place to stay and relax by the river! We stayed for Labor Day weekend, kayaked and just relaxed on the property. Cooking on a fire by the river and relaxing on the deck overlooking river was just what we needed to relax and unwind. The only bad thing is we had to leave and go back to reality.. will definitely book this gem again soon.

River Getaway

Very nice and cute place very clean. The weather didn’t cooperate but that’s Mother Nature. Not having access to the river. Did kyack from the dam to Warren did some fishing on the way down. Caught some walleyes and small mouths Had a good time definitely peaceful. Probably will come back again

THE BEST place to stay!!!

Clean, well stocked with ALL the essentials, on the river, and quiet!! There is a new covered patio down at the water's edge. Surprisingly, there were no bugs....just hummingbirds and butterflies! Not far from kayaking and hiking!!! We love it here!!!

Nice little cabin in a beautiful location

Nice little cabin in a beautiful location.Well stocked and cared for, it’s obvious the owners are continually investing and updating different parts of the property. Though it rained just about everyday, we were able to use the two outdoor decks. We enjoyed fires on the deck off the house on chilly evenings. And loved sitting on the new river front deck at the end of the day. Lots of birds, turtles and other wildlife to look for. We were able to travel to a number of different locations around the county and national forest easily from the cabin. Definitely would recommend making this your home away from home if you are visiting Warren County!

Excellent getaway spot for creative projects!

I loved it! It was cozy and had everything I needed. Theres a great view of the river from the back deck. Great communication with the property owner. It was an excellent place to clear my head and work on creative personal projects.

This cozy house had more to offer than I could imagine! The owners take care great in stocking it with the best of everything. The back deck and lawn are super inviting. We had a wonderful time here, and hope to be back next year!

Deer camp

This is the 3rd time that we have rented the camp for the opening days of the Pa. Deer season . The camp is a perfect fit for our needs . The place is immaculate , not sure anything could be better. We love it and will be back next year .

Clean & Comfy Cabin

This cabin is spacious, clean, comfy, and stocked with everything but your own food items. Gretta responded, and acted, quickly when needed. We felt so welcome and relaxed during our stay. Wonderful weekend get away!

Such a cute, warm and beautiful cabin! The hosts thought of everything from the coffee/tea bar to plenty of towels. We have stayed in many VRBO's and Gretta was one of the most organized with information, a detailed email and a binder of information when we arrived! Very nicely decorated! Since it was fall, I was worried about being warm enough, but the heaters were perfect and we were very cozy! I would like to come back when it's warmer to enjoy the beautiful deck, outside furniture and picnic tables by the river! I enjoyed bringing my coffee to the river in the mornings to enjoy the fall beauty! We will be back! Thank you!

Absolutely Amazing Cabin!!!!!

My husband had a nice getaway at this lovely cabin. The owner was beyond wonderful. The cabin was spotless and very well decorated. It was as cozy as can be. We really enjoyed the back deck with the chiminea. It was perfect for fall evenings. I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back!!

We enjoy the cold Steeler season that Pittsburgh, Pa. has to offer but after the season is over we cant wait to take some time off and escape to the riverbanks of the Allegheny. Tidioute offers the best of both worlds. Relaxed river front living which include fishing and hunting on the nearby state game lands. Plus a great place to have family and friends over for a summers day full of fun!!

We purchased this property mainly based on location: only a mile down the road from State Game lands, water front and Tidioute's quiet small town atmosphere.

The home sleeps 4 comfortably. We enjoy setting up down by the river for bon fires, cooking out and listening to the frogs at night. We love to see the turtles sun themselves in the morning on the bank and if you are lucky enough to see baby turtles hatch from their nests buried in the yard.
