Großartige Lage

Das Beste an dieser Ferienwohnung ist ihre fantastische Lage! Wir konnten alles zu Fuß machen: Kolosseum, Forum Romanum, Vatikan, Engelsburg, Trastevere, Villa Borghese - herrlich! Die Spanische Treppe ist direkt nebenan, ebenso ein Supermarkt (Carrefour), zahlreiche Restaurants und Eisdielen. Die Wohnung hat drei Schlafzimmer (zwei sind lediglich durch eine Schiebetür getrennt), zwei Bäder, Wohnzimmer und Küche mit Geschirrspülmaschine, Waschmaschine und Wäschetrockner, was sehr praktisch war. Ein bisschen schade ist, dass die Wohnung sehr dunkel ist und es zu wenig gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten für 5 Leute gibt (konkret eine Zweiercouch und ein Sessel). Auch die 6 Tassen empfanden wir als zu wenig - man will ja nicht dauernd die Spülmaschine laufen lassen. Ein Schlafzimmer hat eine Glastür zum Wohnzimmer und wird daher leider trotz Vorhängen nicht ganz dunkel, solange im Wohnzimmer Licht brennt. Toll war, dass ausreichend Handtücher, Spülmaschinentabs, Toilettenpapier und Lappen bereit lagen; vermisst haben wir Geschirrtücher. Die Kommunikation mit Giacomo war bis auf eine kleine Fehlkommunikation zum Late-Check-in großartig, er hat sogar netterweise einen Rücktransfer per Taxi zum Flughafen für uns organisiert. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Fantastic location in central Rome

A confortable apartment with 3 bed rooms (comfortable beds) and two baths, well equipped kitchen, with excellent AC. Excellent hosts, very approachable, no hick ups. Also organized cabs for us from/to airport. The location of the flat is a dream, close to the Spanish steps and in walking distance to most central highlights. We really enjoyed our stay.

Sehr schöne Lage, gut für Familie mit Kindern geeignet

Wir waren 10 Tage in Rom und haben besonders die zentrale Lage Nähe Spagna und Trevi Brunnen sehr geschätzt. Die beiden zur Strasse gelegenen Schlafzimmer sind nur durch eine Schiebetür getrennt und waren somit für unsere 3 Kinder ein großzügiges Zuhause. Das kleinste Schlafzimmer liegt zum Innenhof, der aber nur Ausblick auf Ventilatoren und Klimaanlagen bietet. Das störte aber kaum, weil man es eigentlich nur Nachts benötigt. Das kleine direkt dahinter liegende Dusch- Bad war fürs Elternschlafzimmer sehr praktisch. Ein zweites kleines Badezimmer war dann den Kids vorbehalten. Der große Flur vom zentralen Eingang war quasi das Wohn- und Esszimmer. Die Küche ausreichend groß mit Herd und Waschmaschine und eigentlich alles, was man braucht. Das Haus liegt in einer recht ruhigen Strasse und es gibt wenige Meter weiter in beiden Richtungen nette kleine Restaurants mit Tische auf der Strasse, wo man gemütlich abends essen kann. Soweit eigentlich alles super und auch mit Charme! Was wir sehr mochten: - Kleiner Coop Supermarkt unmittelbar 2 Haus Türen weiter war wirklich sehr praktisch! - zentrale und doch ruhige Lage - großzügiges Wohn-/Esszimmer und auch die 2 Schlafzimmer zur Strasse - sehr einfache und schnelle Kommunikation mit den Vermietern über WhatsApp Was uns nicht ganz überzeugte (aber erträglich war): - kleine Badezimmer und zumindest im ersten kein ordentlicher Duschkopf - Matratzen in den Betten eher veraltet - eine der Matratzen quietschte sehr - Bäder könnten insgesamt etwas gepflegter/erneuerter sein - Küchen Utensilien könnten teilweise erneuert werden

"Wir haben zusammen mit Freunden einige wunderschöne Tage hier verbracht und dabei die zentrale Lage des Apartments schätzen gelernt. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und sehr gute Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Sehr gute Kommunikation und Einweisung durch die Besitzer. Wir haben uns in unserem Palazzo sehr wohl gefühlt."

Great location with so much shopping and restaurants. Metro is a quick walk near by. Supermarket right next to the apartment. The host set up transfers to and from the airport which was so easy and much appreciated. Great stay!

Great location

We had a group of 6 adults and it worked perfectly. Having 2 bathrooms was so nice. We were within a 30 minute walk of everything we wanted to do. There is a little market just a couple of doors down where we were able to get whatever we needed. They arranged transportation to and from the airport and that was such a blessing. We would definitely stay here again.

Rome at its best

The amazing Giacomo and his family are the perfect hosts for staying in Rome. The communication was fabulous and arranging airport transfers for us was kind and helpful. The location of the apartment is very central for sightseeing and bus transport. The apartment was very clean, as shown in the photos and was well appointed. We can't recommend the apartment more highly.

Great location, great for families

The apartment was perfect for my family - 2 adults, 3 year old and 18 month old. They were so helpful in providing a pack and play for my youngest. Also, the washer dryer was key for our long stay. The location is fantastic, walking distance to lots of restaurants and historical sites. There is also a small grocery store right next door.

Wonderful Location/Home Base

Wonderful location to see all of Rome. Most all the sights are within walking distance plus a Metro line if you prefer . The apartment was clean spacious, and remarkably quiet for being in the heart of Rome. A Gorcery store practically next door and many restaurants of all types in all directions it was our home away from home .If we are lucky enough to return to Rome we would definitely stay here again. This place is the perfect place for a family. The space, location, amenities….. everything is wonderful. The best part though are the owners. They went above and beyond for our stay, waiting there well past the normal check in time because of unforeseen circumstances. Very well located Roman Apartment

This unit could not be better located - close to the Spanish steps and the Metro system. There are many restaurants in the area and a grocery store virtually next door. It had 3 good sized bedrooms that fit the 5 of us well. The 3 AC units kept the unit very comfortable. The electrics in the unit seem to be pretty close to maximum capacity. Trying to turn on the cooktop while another appliance was on tripped the breakers. Not really a problem once we figured out not to do laundry and use the cooktop at the same time. We had a problem with the washing machine that Giacomo got resolved (a new machine was apparently installed the day we left). Overall, I highly recommend this unit. Giacomo is a great host.

Overall the location was good and stay was adequate but the property is starting to show wear and the pictures are not current. We also could not close the main bathroom door because the wood flooring was coming up from the floor blocking the door from closing all the way. The check in was completed by a person not associated with the VRBO and did not accurately fill out the city tax receipt and charged us for our 8 year old who he said Re wives a discount but should not have been charged at all - In addition took photos of our passport that we were not expecting which should be explained if valid at all in the reservatio. process.

Location was perfect

We were able to walk to all of the major sites from here and many more. There were six of us, teen boys, our daughter and son-in-law and the two Grands (one of them me). Our daughter went on her run early in the morning and felt quite safe. With a runner in the house and our miles of walking over 9 miles/day, the washer and dryer were important. There are restaurants and sandwich shops on the street so coffee and foods are easily accessible. The grocery store two doors down has great offerings. The rooms are as shown and sleep was easy to come by. I appreciated the host arranging our transport and appreciate the company he chose. As we were there for Easter Week, the crowds were enormous, more than I have ever seen. We asked for a recommendation for Easter dinner and enjoyed our host’s recommendation thoroughly.

The location of this charming property provided the perfect exposure to Rome. The location was ideal, and we were just a short walk in any direction from countless sites and shopping. Fantastic Location, Great Hosts

We absolutely loved our time at this property. The apartment is spacious, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. It had a clothes washer and dishwasher, both of which worked well. The location is unbeatable…5 minutes walk to the Spagna metro stop and to the Spanish Steps in one direction, less than 10 min to Trevi Fountain, easily walkable distance to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and not far to Colosseum and Roman Forum. Not to mention Strega do Nocciola is almost across the street for the best gelato! There is also a lovely little bar (cafe) and a pharmacy on the street as well. It is a quiet street without crowded foot traffic and was quiet at night. The air conditioning was an extra we were more than happy to pay for and worked well. Giacomo and his family were communicative, helpful and responsive, and we loved that this property is owned and managed by a family. It was wonderful coming back to this apartment each day.. highly recommend it and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect location, walking distance to many sites. Grocery store within a few steps and many close restaurants. One concern, no smoke alarms. Just an FYI, no television. Washer and dishwasher with soap was an added bonus. This was perfect for 2 grandparents with 2 teenage grandchildren.

Le bonheur dans le centre de Rome

Nous sommes enchantés par cette location. Non seulement l’appartement est beau et d’une propreté irréprochable mais en plus l’emplacement est formidable. Nous avions invités notre fille, notre gendre et Nos petits enfants et tout le monde y trouve son compte. Le métro et les bus sont très proches, un magasin Carrefour juste à côté où les gens sont charmants, une gelateria délicieuse dans la rue (strega) et des pizzerias toutes proches pour régaler petits et grands..(merci Fau pour les bonnes adresses..). Bref ..une semaine enchantée pour tous. Et comme nous avons lancé une pièce dans la fontaine de trevi et bien c’est sur , nous reviendrons Merci l’Italie. Merci Fau et Giovanni et à très vite j’espère..

I come from a Rome native family since many generations. I grew up in this beautiful city, where I still live, with my actual wife and my beautiful daughter. I used to live in this apartment during my school years. And I've been spending most of my free time playing with friends in the streets and in the parks nearby. I still come back often in the area to visit the places where I grew up, in the very heart of Rome.

We used to live in this apartment with my family, my mother Cristina, my father Riccardo and my sister Fausta, before we moved to an area more suitable to our needs. We all know very well and love the apartment and the area nearby.
