Das Hotel liegt nur einen Steinwurf vom Hauptplatz mit einer Vielzahl von Bars, Restaurants und Geschäften entfernt und zu den schönen Stränden des Mar Menor ist es nur ein kurzer Spaziergang. Das Anwesen profitiert von Außenraum und einer großen Dachterrasse mit Grill ideal zum privaten Sonnenbaden und Entspannen. Es gibt auch eine Terrasse vom Hauptschlafzimmer. Die Lounge ist mit einem TV mit britischen Kanälen sowie WLAN und Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Handtücher und Bettwäsche werden gestellt.

Blue Town House

Lovely town house in quiet area. Short walk from Plaza and 3 supermarkets. Everything you need in house and aircon in each room. The pool is quiet and no reserved sun loungers. Highly recommended

Wonderful holiday home

First of all I’d like to apologise to Pauline for the lateness of this review. Our holiday started by being met by the property manager at the holiday home. Tanya showed us how everything worked and was on hand for any problems that might arise over our stay. A lovely person The house has everything you ever need and is a true home away from home. The area is lovely & quiet yet close enough to plenty of restaurants & bars (The Oasis complex is less than 5 mins stroll away) The main centre is a 15 min stroll away. Back to the house and let me tell you our daughter was delighted to find out the communal pool was only 2 houses away. You get you own keys to the gated pool and the area around the pool is clean & well kept. The house and the 3 bedrooms are more than big enough for your holiday needs & all have A/C which is a plus. Talking of the air con.....we stayed mid August & the A/C allowance we payed for in advance was more than enough and believe me we used it a lot. The 2 Bathrooms are very spacious well equipped. We had a couple of great BBQs on the roof terrace which was has a great space & a beer fridge at the top of the stairs. The outside area was relaxing & any passing neighbours always had a smile for us crazy brits sat in the midday sun! Ha ha! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for self catering & the fridge freezer is huge (good job with all the booze we bought from the local Lidl) I can’t recommend this holiday home enough & we will definitely be returning for more holidays in the near future. All communications with Pauline were very easy & the whole of the holiday from booking through Pauline to arranging the House Manager to pick us up for our return journey to the airport was a breeze. Take your family here & you wont go far wrong. Can’t wait to return. Pauline thank you for arranging & letting us stay. It’s a beautiful house in an absolutely cracking area.

Lovely!

The four of us had a lovely 11 nights in this lovely villa. Two bathrooms were a godsend with two couples ... one couple used the downstairs bathroom and bedroom and the other couple used the upstairs bathroom and one of the bedrooms. Everything you could think of was provided ... just like a home from home. We replaced items that ran out while we were there, eg kitchen roll, and we thought that was a great idea. The fridge at the top of the stairs was a huge success, especially on the nights we used the bbq on the roof terrace. Everywhere was clean and tidy when we arrived. We found lots of nice places to eat and especially enjoyed the frozen yoghurt desserts down at the strip. We will certainly be back.

Well equipped and clean house, perfect for family holiday

I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this property if I am ever back in Los Alcazares . In a quiet residential area, we enjoyed a relaxing holiday but still within walking distance to main resort area. 7 minutes walk to a Lidl’s and supermarket and roughly same again to a large and varied selection or restaurants . We enjoyed some lovely meals in Hemingway , The Curry Leaf , Bacchaus and brunch in The Penny Farthing. The pool area is very well maintained and at times we had it all to ourselves. The house has everything a family would need, and the beds were so comfy! The air con was a blessing as it was very hot, so warm that I could only use the roof terrace for laundry! We did have a car for the duration , however we only used for supermarket shopping and for trips to the beach. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing family holiday.

Comfortable, well laid out, clean, good outdoor space

The property was perfect for the whole family, the 3 double bedrooms were all a good size and the beds were comfortable. The air con was a god send and the allowance was ample for the length of our stay. The shared pool was a hit with all of us too, our 2 year old would have spent the whole trip in there if he could!! The outdoor space was a welcome bonus on the warm evenings. Location wise the property is close to supermarkets and also to a good selection of bars and restaurants, and is only a short drive from the airport. The main town square is also only about a 15 minute walk and has an additional selection of bars, restaurants and shops. The property manager was very helpful and gave a good tour of the property on arrival which was handy. We will certainly look to stay here again in future, the whole process from booking the property right through to the end of the holiday was smooth and communication with the owner was easy when needed

The property is spacious and has great outdoor space on the ground floor, the main bedroom balcony and the roof terrace. It's slightly further from the town than I had anticipated but given the warm weather in April the walk to the town was pleasant. There are supermarkets within easy walking distance. The lady who managed the property was very pleasant and helpful, spent a good time explaining everything we needed to know. I would definitely stay there again if I wanted to stay in Los Alazares

Stayed August 2016 for two weeks. Home from home, air conditioning in every room was fantastic. Lovely pool just a couple of houses away. Property manager very helpful. Had a lovely relaxing holiday. Many Thanks.

A property with room for the family

Pauline's blue house was a short drive from the beach and airport. It was too hot to walk to the beach but in cooler seasons could be done. The property was clean, air conditioned, well maintained and close to lidel (fresh bakery) and consum grocery. Staying at this property you feel like you're living in a small community with nice pleasant neighbors. We particularly liked eating outside at night after cooking simple Mediterranean dishes. The only negatives are the distance from the sea and if you like sleeping with the windows open the road noise of the motorway in the distance. Would I stay there again? yes for sure. The restaurants are walkable at night and the tapa bars are delightful! Go for an explore as you will be delighted with what you discover . Thank you for your hospitality Pauline !

Like home away from home.

"Bluey" looks simply lovely and homely from the outside and you won't be disappointed when you're inside too. It has such a welcoming feel to the place. All the facilities are there that you would have at home so it really is great for doing your own thing. Pool area was immaculate with beds and parasols so very good if you have children with you. We spent a lot of our time on the sun roof terrace. Again lovely both day and evening. Location is great being only 5 mins from the airport. There are restaurants and bars only a short walk away in the square which is nice and seemed to be plenty going on. We were there to relax so targeted the back street quieter Spanish bars and restaurants. Found myself a lovely little coffee shop for my morning coffee. Lovely local people. Would definitely recommend this property. Thanks to Pauline and the family for allowing us to stay. Adele

PERFECT

What a property! You will not be disappointed. 2 minute drive from airport, very close to local amenities, 2 mins from local golf course, swimming and bathing pool is very clean, air conditioned throughout, house has 3 floors with 2 very clean bathrooms, TV with satellite, Wi-fi, fully furnished throughout, PERFECT ABSOLUTELY PERFECT

Zu Gast bei Pauline Williams

Hi, my sister Sandie and I along with husbands Mark and Steve purchased the house, affectionately known as ‘Bluey’ in 2007.
Because of its prime location, near to bars and restaurants and the beautiful sandy beach, (there are no high rise) it has been widely used by our friends and families leaving little time for renting.
We still love to come to the house and will continue to do so but as the families have grown and have busy lives, with the help of VRBO we have decided to rent out the weeks when we are not in Spain.
As you can see from the photos, the house is well cared for and with a lovely shared pool which includes a baby area, which makes it an ideal location for a family holiday.
We will be glad to give you any more information you may need.
