Hell, modern, 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer, Luxus-Villa, gerade erst kürzlich renoviert. Dies macht eine sehr helle und geräumige Villa im zeitgenössischen Stil, die auf einer Ebene gebaut wurde, in einer erhöhten Position.
Große Küche, sehr gut ausgestattet, mit allen Küchengeräten, Geschirr, einschließlich, Geschirrspüler und Waschmaschine, sowie Frühstückstisch.
Open-Style-Lounge, mit zwei großen Sofas und Esszimmer, Platz für bis zu 10, mit mehreren Terrassentüren zu verschiedenen Terrassen mit extra großem Swimmingpool. In der Lounge gibt es einen großen Fernseher mit den meisten TV-Kanälen, einschließlich Glasfaser-Internetverbindung, die kostenlos ist. Es gibt viele Sonnenliegen rund um die Terrassen. Außerhalb Esstische und Stühle für Mahlzeiten im Freien am Grill, Garten Sofa, Sessel und Tisch unter überdachter Terrasse, zum Sitzen und Entspannen, wenn Sie nur ein bisschen zu viel Sonne hatte.

Die Villa ist nur ein paar hundert Meter zu Fuß zu den vielen Stränden, die alle sicher für Kinder sind. Es gibt mehrere kleine Buchten, die zum Schnorcheln einladen, sowie mehrere Sandbuchten, die alle leicht zu Fuß erreichbar sind.
La Cala, ist nur ein paar, Minuten mit dem Auto oder ein Taxi kostet etwa 7 EUR, ros.
Der lokale Bus fährt jede halbe Stunde am Ende der Straße.
La Cala Dorf hat viel zu tun. Viele Restaurants, Cafés, Bars, für jeden Geschmack und Geldbeutel.
4 sueprmarkets, einschließlich Lidl und Aldi.
Lokaler Markt, zweimal wöchentlich
Es gibt auch ein neues Café / Bistro (Frog & Co.) Am Ende der Straße (150 Meter), die bis zum späten Abend zum Frühstück geöffnet ist.
Es gibt auch mehrere, andere Restaurants in der Nähe, darunter, Indian, Chines, Pizza, sehr nette kleine spanische Bodega namens La Teka, im Besitz und von Guiermo geführt. Plus mehrere andere Bar / Restaurants
Diese Villa bietet Ihnen das Beste aus beiden Welten, weit genug, um die friedliche Umgebung zu genießen, ohne gestört zu werden und doch nah an allen Annehmlichkeiten.

Family holiday / quiet villa close to La Cala

Lovely quiet villa. Older residence so nice and cool; and with brilliant air con. Hire car would probably be essential, we used it a lot but taxis into La Cala and Fuengirola for dinner are straightforward too.

La Cala Stay in June 2024

An excellent trip Carol our host was welcoming and very trusting. Villa was as it says on the tin. Spent quite some time on the local beach where we where able to eat and have a few bears then walk back the villa. We had 10 great days at the villa Many Thanks again Carol.

Nice house with everything you need for a week stay. Car is recommended for shopping and restaurant visits. Very good, attentive service and support from “property manager”!

Wonderful week

Pin location was sent once we arrived in Spain check in was easy. Villa is beautiful pool is so big kids loved it we visited La cala which is 7 euros in a taxi and Wazzus beach bar which is a 20 min walk down by the sea .

Very nice place

All as advertised, and extra points for management, very friendly, very helpful and very quick to answer. This is actually one of the best places we ever rented in Spain, layout of the house is perfect, outside very nice. Some mentioned earlier that there is a building site next to the house. There is, but hardly any noise so no disturbance at all.

Lovely clean villa in great location

The villa was exactly as we expected from the photo's, lovely and clean with a fab pool. We came with two young children and the smart tv was great when the sun was too hot, fireman Sam on tap! We love Cala de Mijas and will certainly return again. Carol was great and very informative, overall a great week in the sun😎

Great villa

The owner was helpful and friendly. The place is peaceful. The house was clean and well equipped. Everything we needed is there. There is a small shop and restaurants within walking distance. A taxi could always be quickly ordered and we went to the city with it.

Excellent villa in a great location

The Villa was very spacious and clean. Everything you needed was at hand. The pool is very big and gets the sun all day so heats up quickly. Outside space and various seating options meant you could opt to relax in the sun, or chill in the shade. The location is brilliant, we walked, used buses and when required used taxis. Our stay was enhanced by Carol the property manager. She gave us early entry which enabled us to relax on arrival. She was extremely good at suggesting places to eat and her communication in general was brilliant. All of the above gave us a holiday to remember.

Lovely apartment & enjoyable stay

We enjoyed our time in the villa, it met all our wishes. The villa was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with a great outdoor space and a private pool that was large enough for six persons to swim and play in. We greatly appreciated the well-functioning air conditioning in the living room and all bedrooms. Communication with the landlord was smooth and easy. The villa was perfectly placed for exploring this beautiful area of Spain. It was easy to get both east and west and easy to always find parking outside the villa.

Lovely villa with great outdoor space

We stayed at this lovely villa with great outdoor space. Location wise the villa was fantastic. A 5min bus ride or 20min walk into to La Cala which is a gorgeous little place. A 10min bus ride to Fuengerola which has some fantastic places to eat. The villa was well equipped with everything you need. The pool is bigger than most villas we have stayed in. I would recommend this villa for anyone looking to stay in this area and would definitely stay here again. Thanks Carol for being a great host.

The villa was ok but not suitable for young ones. The floors are far too slippy. Location not good

No problems with renting. Too far out of the centre of La Cala and dangerous walking along the side of the Carraterra! It should be made clear it is a residential area and so we would not stay there again.

Fantastic Villa - Brilliant Holiday!

I'm writing this review having just arrived back to the UK after a fantastic week in this villa - I'm already checking when we can go back! This was a family holiday for us - myself, husband and 2 children (ages 10 & 5) and I can honestly say it's one of the best we've ever had. The villa was amazing, beautifully maintained, lots of space, super fast broadband (children were very happy!) and a short walk from the beach. You can walk along the beach to the shops and restaurants (about 40 mins walk with children) or easily drive to shops etc. The water park is a 10 mins drive and was a great day out. Carol was lovely and gave us great tips and local information. Thank you for our wonderful week of happy family memories - see you again soon I hope!

This was a beautiful Villa with everything you needed. A car would probably have been helpful as the nearest shop was a good 15/20 minute walk uphill on the way back which would be difficult for elderly people - the location is good but further from La Cala than we expected and we felt too far to walk do a taxi was needed every day. There was 6 of us and it wasn’t always easy to get a 6 seater so we often had to order 2 taxis at around 9 euros each journey each taxi. Other than that we loved the pool and were overall very happy with our stay.

Nice villa in good location but……..

The villa was as per the VRBO explanation accept for one thing. The sea view is now limited due to a new villa being built in direct line of sight from the swimming pool. The building work was daily from 8am to 4pm which meant noise throughout while we were trying to relax around the pool and outside seating areas. Had I known this and despite the villa being great I would not have chosen to book. I would like to finish on a positive note which was the contact with Carol prior to and throughout our stay. She was helpful, prompt in responding and informative of the area.

Great villa with big pool

We had a lovely vacation in this house, which is Well kept and equipt and clean. Lots of kitchenware. In the kitchen is also filtered water, which is really nice. Lots of space in the closets. It is really Nice with lounge furniture outside and dinning table. Outdoor area is nice and clean too. the pool is big and clean and has a deep end. The neighbor is a permanent resident, and doesn’t like to much noice at the poolarea. Really nice small beach close by. Only 5 min walk. Nice restaurant 2 min away. There was noice from the nearby buildings in the weekdays, because they are building new houses close to this villa. Hope they are done with them next year because then we will be back.

Lovely stay!

We had a great 11 night stay in Las Palomas with our family, 4 adults a 14 and an 11 year old. The villa has lots of space both inside and outside, so it easily accommodated us. The pool is a great size, with lots of space around it for sun beds. The terraces are fantastic, a big table to eat at and a comfy sofa area which I absolutely loved. The bedrooms were all a great size with lots of lovely clean bedding on the very comfortable beds. A car is useful at this location but not essential if you are happy to walk around 30 minutes to La Cala, or hire taxis which cost around €9 one way, or approx €15 for a 6-seater. There is a new villa being built opposite the terrace, there is still a sea view but when we were there this was partially interrupted by a large crane. The building work underway at the time could not be heard inside the villa, and the builders were only there for a few hours a day due to the heat, so this didn’t cause too much of an issue for us. The villa is well equipped for a home from home feeling, even has a dishwasher and washing machine! We were very grateful for the efficient air conditioning in the rooms too. Ian and Carol were helpful hosts, contactable throughout our stay.

Unclean and wrong location provided

The 'pin' location that is provided on the Vrbo website is completely inaccurate and disingenuous for travellers. The property is not nearby shops, bars etc as displayed on the Map provided, it is in a quiet residential street some distance from amenities. The pool was unclean and unusable for the first 48 hours or so and only after complaining to the Property manager was remedial action taken, however this still meant being unable to safely use the pool for a significant period. In addition, we could not use the BBQ at all as it was unserviceable and filthy, with pieces of food still stuck to it from previous guests use. All in all, we spent hundreds of pounds in taxi's and food due to the uncleanliness and poor location (which is NOT as described) and was not what we had planned for our family holiday. All of the above was pointed out to the Property Manager at the time of her visit however we were advised that she was unsure why the location on the website was inaccurate and there was nothing she could do about that - not really what you want to hear.... or pay for. All of the above is a real pity because internally the villa was well equipped and clean, however the outside area (pool and BBQ in particular) were very poor and the location is not as provided and should be urgently addressed so no other travellers are duped by this.

Wunderschöne Villa

Die Villa ist wunderschön, ruhig gelegen und mit viel Privatshäre, sehr empfehlenswert.Marbella und Malaga sind in 30 Minuten zu erreichen.Ich empfehle jedoch einen Leihwagen.Die Villa ist groß und mit allen wichtigen und liebevollen Details eingerichtet um sich sofort wohl zu fühlen.In der Küche fehlt es ebenfalls an nichts und am Anreisetag lagen sogar kleine Leckereien im Kühlschrank wie Sekt, Saft, Bier, Croissants und Butter.Wir haben, zu fünft, tolle Weihnachtstage dort verbracht, bei frühlingshaftem Wetter mit viel Sonnenschein. Die Aussenterassen sind ein Traum. Carol, die Verwalterin, war sehr nett und immer ansprechbar. Dafür noch mal ganz lieben Dank.

La Villa est très agréable et les équipements sont corrects. Les espaces de vie sont fort agréables. Nous regrettons néanmoins d'avoir découvert la proximité d'une grue de construction en fonctionnement pendant notre séjour, juste du côté de la terrasse et piscine extérieure. C'est dommage !

Traumhafte Auszeit!

Wir waren über Weihnachten und Neujahr in der Villa und haben es sehr genossen. Von morgens früh bis zum späten Nachmittag konnten wir die ausgiebigen Terrassen nutzen. Sicherlich werden wir wieder kommen. Vielen Dank auch an Carol, die uns pünktlich begrüsste und wenn gewollt jederzeit ansprechbar gewesen wäre ( was wir nicht benötigten, da alles in einen hervorragenden Zustand war)

Stay at La Cala de Mijas

Lovely property, perfect location, close to beach, walkable to La Cala, peaceful and beautiful views setting. Great sized pool, sun loungers and seating for all.

Amazing villa apart from all the ground works and construction front and back of the property waking

Construction working being carried out front and back of the property waking us up at 7 am very morning to noise to stay at the villa and enjoy the pool which we was not warned about !!!

There has been much time spent on renovating this property to a very high standard.. It is situated in a very quiet private villa urbanisation, only 2 minutes walk to the beach,, thebvilla being situated in an elevated position, overlooks the coast.
The golf course is just up the road ( Chaparral Golf) . La Cala village is only a few kilometres away. There is also the local bus which stops at the bottom of the road.
Inside the villa, the lounge and dining area are open plan and light, with large comfortable sofas and good size dining table, seating up to 8/10
Satelite TV channels and WIFI. Fibre Optic has recently been installed, (which is something very new here on the Costa del Sol.)
There are three good size bedrooms, all with wardrobes, good size kitchen, with all mod cons.
Outside, there are several patio and terrace areas, and it has sun beds, parasols, BBQ, terrace tables and chairs for outside dining. The pool, gets the sun all day. From the kitchen, there is another patio area, for perhaps those who may wish a little bit of shade.

The kitchen is spacious with kitchen table and is well equipped with everything you should require.
All beds are of high Scandinavian standard with high quality cotton bedlinen.

La Cala village, is only a few kilometres away, famous for its' Blue Flag beaches, safe for children. there are several miles of white sandy beaches, where you can walk or cycle along the promenade. Also now built last year is 6 kilometres of boardwalk which takes you to Cabopino. There are plenty of rustic style beach bars with sunbeds and parasols all along this walkway.

This village 2 Kms from villa, gets better and better, with its' tapas bars and other very popular eating places. Ideal for all, apart from the local Spanish restaurants, there is an Italian, Chinese, Indian or try one of the new Gastro style tapas bars.

The villa, which is in an elevated position overlooking the sea, and is close to the beach, very near (2, kilometres) to the village of La Cala, and only a short distance to Fuengirola, Marbella.is 20 minutes drive
Along the coastline, there are continuous long stretching beaches, a few v private little bays, one of which is called Playa Chaparral, only a few minutes walk away
Shopping malls only 5 minutes drive, plus many shopping areas in Both Marbella and Fuengirola.
If you like exploring then within minutes, you are out in the open unspoiled countryside, on roads, that even in the high season there is very little traffic.
The COSTA DEL SOL has so much to offer.

Why not take a day trip to Granada, or Seville, or Cordoba, or even Jerez and Cadiz? These are all only 1 - 2 hours drive away from the villa.

My family used this villa for a week in May (5 adults) the villa was perfect for us lots of outside space with lovely garden furniture, lots of different areas to sit in. The inside was also perfect, beds very comfy. We used the Frog and Co french restaurant a couple of times just up the road, Wazza beach bar just a 10 minute walk and Restaurant Sheriff a bit further along the road which were all excellent. We also used the local bus many times and enjoyed walking along the boardwalk in town. There was a small well stocked supermarket about a 10 minute walk away, along with a chemist and a few restaurants but it was a bit noisy to eat there on a night due to the traffic. We had a perfect holiday and would not hesitate to return”
