We had an awesome time and the condo kitchen had everything needed to cook at home which was important right now with covid-as we did not want to eat indoors at any restos.

From booking to departure was a seamless process. The Listing was as described. We appreciated being able to bring our little dogs. The location was amazing so close to the beach, Having the beach chairs available to us on the beach was fabulous! Well equipped kitchen and unit. Would stay again! Loved the area and the property. Had one problem with the front door and Renee was easily reachable and the situation was sorted quickly.

Nice for family with a dog

This was a good location and was great for my small dog. We have stayed at this complex many times, and this was on par with the other units. However, as soon as I walked in, there was a heavy smoke smell. I contacted the owner and she responded quickly. Despite our use of air fresheners, the smoke smell lingered throughout our stay. Otherwise, I enjoyed this property and appreciated the owner’s excellent communication. I understood that not much could be done for this smell, I just hope it goes away for future guests.

Great price

The condo had everything that we needed. It was a short walk to the beach. We did have a little trouble getting the dish washer to start. I think you have to press the bottom twice instead of once. The furnishings are a little dated, but it’s what you see in the pictures. We knew this going in and it did not affect our stay.

Great accommodations for the family

This condo fit our needs perfectly when we needed to bring our dog along on vacation. The first floor location was convenient being able to walk right outside to take the dog out and not having to go up the steps or elevator. The whole Marvalla property is very dog friendly, which was great for us, but may be a negative for someone who doesn’t enjoy being around dogs. We liked being able to walk to many restaurants and shops and having the beach service provided was very convenient! The beach attendants were great! Visiting the panhandle in March is always risky so it was nice having the heated pool and hot tub available for chilly days. Check in was very easy and we appreciated all the information that was sent to us ahead of time. We had a great visit!

Loved the location!!

The unit was perfect. With two families with girls ages 5-11, this was ideal for us. The two older girls shared the bunk room and they loved having their own space. The rooms were big enough to put a full size air mattress in for the 6 year olds and still be able to move around in. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Kitchen had everything we needed. The first floor was a must for us so the kids could walk in the grass and play, dry sand toys, towels etc. Loved how they had 2 pools on the property and it was an easy walk to both of them. In my opinion, the best part was the location. We could still walk to many restaurants but was far enough away from the crowded areas. The beach staff was awesome as well! They offered to help carry our wagon each morning! We are already planning our trip for next spring break.

Not clean

The location was perfect but the cleanliness of the unit was not. Trash left under beds, dirty dishes and kitchen items. Dirty floors. Sand in sheets. Hair under the toilet lid. The manager did say they could clean again but we had already unpacked and it would have made it difficult to clean with our personal items on counters and floor. The manger did communicate well. I would have stayed somewhere else if it had been offered before Friday when we checked out.

Needs Attention

Needs some attention. Wash machine sounds like it is not going to make it though the cycle. Could break anytime. Refrigerator was set on the way on high ?? Indicator shows water filter needs replaced. Had to work on toilet in back bedroom area. Flush handle needs replaced and flapper chain needs adjusted. Chain got stuck underneath flapper and kept running. Toilet tank need cleaned. Appears to have black mold inside tank area. We have been going to Destin since 1987. Usually rented at Edgewater. Since we started bring our dog we moved to Maravilla. Overall nice place. Just needs some attention/maintenance,.

Roomy unit

We really enjoyed our stay. We've stayed at Maravilla every year for the past 18 years, but this was our first time at 1108. The unit is roomy and well equipped with everything we needed. The only thing that didn't work for us was only having one setup for the beach service. Other 3 bedroom units we've stayed at had double beach service setup, but we knew going in that we would only have one. We just rented a second setup as needed. Overall, would gladly stay here again.

Wonderful

The apto is full equipped with all kitchen items plus some beach items. It is very close to beach. There is a big deck with stairs to arrive to beach, so wagon maybe not the best solution. But since it is almost in front of beach, we didnt have any trouble to return to apto with tired kids. Wonderful experience. We will return

Play and relax

We so enjoyed the 3 bedroom condo, 1108. It was like hanging out in a family room. So comfortable and worry free. The location was great and we were at the beach every day. It was just as close as walking to some pools when we’ve stayed in hotels! So grateful for the pools in the property- as our beach swim time was not as planned due to riptide conditions. Would definitely stay again.

Renee started in the rental business by managing her own units, and as word of mouth praise spread the company took off.
Laura decided to leave her Software job in Birmingham in 2009 to join her mother in the business.

Over the years we have still grown by word of mouth praise and now selectively manage 53 beautiful condos in the Destin area.
We truly love what we do for our owners and guest and feel blessed to have a thriving business in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Maravilla 1108 is so uniquely located. If you are familiar with Maravilla you'll know that 1108 is in building 1 which faces the East (beautiful sunrises)
1108 is a ground floor unit so it is very convenient for anyone in your group to run back and forth to the beach, pools or late night walks to the pet area.
We have new owners since 2013 and they really went in and made this condo shine. It has that beachy feel without being over done or out of fashion.
