Great Property & Location

We loved the location of this property, both on the island and the beautiful grounds. The views from the balcony and the kitchen are amazing, and the grounds have a lot of places where you can sit and watch the coast.There is easy walking to Turtle Cove, Sea Lodge Beach, Hideaway Beach, and shorter drives to all the great beaches up north.The pools were great for our kids and the additional amenities were nice. We didn't end up using the food trucks but that was a nice option.The room itself had enough space for our family and gave us places to be together and also separate. I especially like the balcony off the master suite. We will definitely look at this property again the next time we visit.

Kauai the Garden Island

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Cliffs. The ocean view from the lanai is spectacular rain or shine!! The condo is welcoming, kitchen is well equipped for cooking in and the location is close to many great restaurants. The pool and hot tubs are lovely!!! The hosts are wonderful and communication was very helpful!!

Cliffs Condo

This is a very nice condo with a lovely view of the north shore. Everything was in good condition and kitchen was well supplied with cooking supplies. Roger ( owner) sent several messages before we arrived to pass along tips for things to do in the area, restaurant suggestions, etc. He even sent a photo of what supplies had been left behind by other guests to give us an idea of what we needed to buy for groceries. As it states in the listing, this is a one bedroom, with a loft. There's plenty of sleeping space, however the loft area is open to the main floor. There's a half wall, but if you need more privacy this may not appeal to you. The bathroom for this loft bedroom is on the main floor. If it wasn't for that, this would have been ideal. It was still pretty good! Princeville is on the North shore of Kauai so we did lots of driving as snorkeling and exploring beaches was high on our agenda. We loved our stay at this condo and in Kauai!!

Excellent Getaway

The 6302 unit was perfect. With the ocean view and the noise from waves crashing, each morning and evening were pleasant and enjoyed to the fullest. While there is no AC, with the oceane breeze we did not miss the AC. We were out and about during the day so can’t comment on the stay during the day. The resort is very well kept. Would stay here again.

Pleased

We were happy with this unit and we enjoyed the location. Coming from Atlanta area, we were skeptical about the lack of air conditioning. Although, other than the initial shock upon arrival (windows and doors were closed, understandably), the room was very comfortable the entire week. No A/C was no issue at all for us. Speaking of location, short walk to Queens Bath and Turtle Cove. Also, Hanalei Bay area was our favorite and it’s just 10 minute drive. Owners were great and very responsive. I would recommend this unit.

One of our favourite spots

It was our second stay at Roger and Charlene’s hale with our family (parents and teens) and we will definitely be back a third time. The deck with its fabulous view is a great place to eat, relax and play cards. It’s central to many beaches and activities and the pool and hot tub area is lovely.

Beautiful location

This condo located at the Cliffs has incredible views of the ocean right off the lanai. We enjoyed amazing sunrises and sunsets each night just steps from the condo. We also appreciated the beach chairs, coolers and umbrella for our days on the beach. I was a bit nervous about the heat given there is no AC. However there is great air flow and the ocean breezes kept it perfectly comfortable. Roger & Charlene were very responsive to any questions that we had prior to arrival. We will definitely try to book this property the next time we make it to Princeville! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Awesome condo

This property was spot on as advertised. This is really a nice unit. We've stayed in many others at the Cliff's and this one was my favorite. I really liked it because of the view, the supplies to get started, they provided chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, coolers, it was perfectly stocked. It was a very quiet condo too, with a great view. Loved how close it was to the grills. The winds blowing through the condo were just perfect too, we never got hot. The lanai was like an extra room we spent a lot of time out there in the mornings and evenings with coffee and cocktails. The pool is great for families and there is an adult hot tub and a pool in back. Our family also played pickle ball and the young one used the play ground. The basketball court was busy too. I walked Hanalei Bay every morning it was so peaceful and beautiful and close by as well as Anini. The fish market at the Dolphin provided us with awesome fresh fish to grill and we used the grill every night. Don't over think booking this condo unless you are not OK going up to the third floor, the view was worth it, trust me.

Great Stay

We’ve stayed at various units at The Cliffs The views are phenomenal and the location is in the heart of Princeville. Charlene and Roger’s unit is no exception. Begin and end your day whale watching from the lanai, The unit has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings and everything else you could want for an enjoyable stay. Great spot!

We had a lovely stay. This location in Princeville is quiet but the facilities are great- we grilled up fresh fish we bought in Hanalei, played tennis, used the fitness room and , I did laps in the pool (yes, we had a bit of rain so it was nice to have these things to do) The house is thoughtfully appointed with kitchen gear, boogie board's, even an umbrella. Charlene and Roger were fantastic hosts— the Vrbo reminder system for deposits malfunctioned and River reached out instead. So kind! Highly recommended.

Awesome stay in Kauai

We stayed at this condo several years ago with our teenage children and this time had 2 couples stay for 2 weeks. It worked out great as each couple had their own bedroom space and bathroom. There is a grocery store close by so we cooked several nights and found the kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes and pots etc. required to actually cook a meal. There is a dishwasher, microwave, cleaning supplies, some seasoning, coffee supplies and even some condiments. The resort has BBQ grills for guest use which are good quality and kept very clean. This condo has everything we needed to go to the beach; coolers, beach chairs, snorkels, beach towels and even sunscreen! There is a washer/dryer in the condo which came in handy to do a little laundry. We were there in January so it was not an big issue but there is no air conditioning, it has lots of windows and the patio doors with let the air in but it does get hot in the loft. The Cliffs is a awesome resort with beautiful grounds and pool area. There is tennis, putting green, pickle ball and shuffle board on site, a few restaurants and grocery store are within walking distance. We did a lot of walking in the area and found it to be clean, quiet (other than the roosters) and safe. The best part of the condo is the front deck (lanai) it is sheltered from the wind and rain and we loved sitting out there watching the whales and enjoying the views. We would definitely stay again!

Lovely stay at the Cliffs near Hanalei

The view of the ocean was spectacular with a gorgeous lawn in front of it. We really enjoyed watching the NeNe families and even saw an albatross! The roosters started loudly crowing about 4am which was annoying, but inevitable in Kauai. The kitchen was well-stocked. We enjoyed a lovely dinner on the lanai with friends in the area. the activities Cliffs offered were really nice We especially enjoyed the music of Soulgood Family at the Art and Music Festival, and even traveled out to Opakapaka Grill and Bar to hear them again. The Mai Tai Party was fun. Parking was plentiful. The owners responded quickly when I reached out. It was a very pleasant stay for my husband, my in-laws, and me.

Beautiful rental

We had the best time on our family vacation! Spending time with our daughter and son in law in this beautiful place was very memorable. I'd definitely rent this unit again! The unit was well appointed with everything you'd need in the kitchen, more than any other place I've rented, beach supplies, laundry amenities, beach & pool towels, ice chests, etc. They even provided binoculars. I saw a whale while having my morning coffee near the hammock which is right in front of the building.The beds were super comfortable and there are extra linens if needed. There is also books and movies which we enjoyed. The owner was very responsive and he updated us on things before our arrival that he thought we should know about. Looking forward to a return visit!

Loved our stay (and the VIEW)!

My family loved our stay at Charlene and Roger's rental at the Cliffs in Princeville! It was perfect and we loved the views of the ocean right out the back patio! It was exactly what we expected based on the listing description and everything was in good order. We especially liked how there were boogie boards, beach chairs and some snorkel equipment and other beach toys available for our kids. Even I did some boogie boarding, haha! Our kids loved the relative privacy of the loft where they slept and the roosters kept us from sleeping in too late so we could hit the beaches!

Excellent Stay

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful property for nine nights. The condo was very nice and comfortable, we enjoyed the view from our lanai each morning. Plenty of space. There was a mechanical issue with the dishwasher. However, Roger kept us informed on the repair. The owners even gave us a discounted daily rate because the dishwasher wasn’t working. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness. The property the condo is located on has everything you need, including an adult only hot tub. The location provides easy access to Hanalei bay and downtown Princeville. We enjoyed the condo and our vacation very much and would recommend anyone to stay in this beautiful condo.

Wonderful stay

This was a perfect place to stay in Paradise! Charlene and Roger were a pleasure to communicate with and were very responsive. The unit is beautiful and has everything you could imagine you might need on vacation. Already looking forward to our next trip!

We are recently retired after careers in IT Engineering (Roger) and Finance (Charlene). I have been to Oahu (3 times), Big Island (twice), and Maui (numerous times). While they each are beautiful in their own way, I began to see why Kauai was my Roger's favorite. It's name as the Garden Isle is well deserved and the lush verdant landscape comes at a price--frequent rain showers. The weather is never boring!

One day, we were driving around and, on a whim, stopped at an open house. We met our real estate agent AnnMarie Hamilton that day and started to dream of owning our own place. Over the next 2 years she sent us many listings and we realized that our dream was affordable if we went the vacation rental route. In December 2013, we bid on our beautiful ocean view condo, Cliffs 6302. On New Year's Day 2014, our offer was accepted--we flew over 2 weeks later to inspect the property and the view was so amazing, we got chills!

As Bloody Mary in the musical South Pacific so aptly sings: 'You've got to have a dream, if you don't have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true?' From inception to realization, our condo in Kauai is our 'dream come true'. We love sharing our dream slice of paradise with our guests.

Our property at the Cliffs has it all: View, amenities, privacy, and spacious living space. No one above us and concrete building construction which really limits noise.

The property is gorgeously landscaped. The pools and hot tubs are newly constructed and there are tennis courts, volleyball courts, a playground for the kiddies, putting green, shuffleboard and pickle ball. Gas grills, oceanfront gazebo, picnic tables, and hammock complete the idyllic picture.
