Beautiful Historic Villa

We had a wonderful experience staying at Villa Palmieri. This is an historic villa that is very comfortable and functional for a large group. The bedrooms and bathrooms provide everything you need. The second floor bedrooms are very hot in the summer. I would recommend providing large standing fans for these bedrooms. The air conditioning in the third floor bedrooms works well. The kitchen is functional. I would recommend providing a Keurig coffee maker to allow guests to easily and quickly make a variety of coffee types. The nearby 365 grocery store offers a variety of k-cups. The villa is close to town. It is possible to walk to shops and restaurants. It is advisable to arrange initial transportation from the train station as the walk is a little more difficult with luggage. There are no taxis available. Overall, this villa was the perfect setting for our group of 13 to use as a base for exploring the area.

Good location but needs improvement

The house offers a lot of space and is very good located in the area, close to sea and many places of interest. The owner is super friendly and very quick - 5 stars for the service of Danielle! Totally we were happy with our bicycle holiday. Good roads and interesting area. On the negative side i must however note that we have never stayed in a house in this size with so few furnitures. No sofa table, no living room area suited for a large group of people. On the first floor we found some chairs along the walls - not near what we would call a livingroom. On the top floor, in a hall without windows, we found a red sofa. We were 10 persons, and we sat at the diningtable all evenings. The kitchen had a new stove but many parts and furniture in the kitchen are in need of replacement. Of course everything comes with a price, and I know that this house has a nice, low price, offering 10 bedrooms. However, I must say that we have stayed in houses in Tuscany of similar size in much better condition.

Nice house in a good location

We had a brilliant stay at the Villa. The house is lovely, has a big garden and is only 15 mins driving away from the sea. Communication was very good. I would definitely recommend the house for big groups.

Beautiful villa

We were a group of 16 adults staying on the villa and there was always plenty of space for everyone to just sit and be, but a great dining area and lounge where we could all come together. Lots of bathrooms and bedrooms that were all very clean and a lovely garden to sit in to catch a few October rays. The family were wonderful and incredibly helpful. They even brought round an HDMI cable so I could show a film on the TV via my laptop. We had a great stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Villa Palmieri.

Casa bellissima e posizione ideale

Casa bellissima e proprietari simpaticissimi. La casa è tenuta molto bene, il giardino è grandissimo e il soggiorno è stato piacevole. La posizione è perfetta per visitare i punti d’interesse della regione e per escursioni al mare. Ideale per gruppi con bambini.

Capodanno a Paestum

Abbiamo trascorso 4 giorni bellissimi con un gruppo di amici 18 persone in questa bella villa di un altra epoca. La casa e' ben tenuta con tutto l'occorrente per accogliere un gruppo di venti persone, l'unico appunto che si puo' fare e che forse avrebbe bisogno di qualche piccolo lavoro di manutenzione. Nel complesso comunque siamo stati accolti molto bene dalla famiglia Palmieri gentilissimi e disponibilissimi. Ci hanno fornito tutte le informazioni necessarie per trascorrere delle belle vacanze di fine d'anno in questa stupenda zona archeologica. Ancora grazie al dott. Palmieri , alla moglie ed alla gentilissima figlia.

parfaite pour groupes nombreux et en famille. Proche de commerces, de la gare et de la mozzarella !!

Nous sommes partis en 21 (10 adultes et 11 enfants). Maison parfaite, wifi, commerces à 10m à pied ou 2m en voiture (à ne pas rater la ferme Vannullo pour ses mozzarelle di bufala, mais aussi yogurt et glaces !). La gare est à quelques minutes à pied, très pratique pour se rendre à Naples. Costiera Amalfitana à 1h15. On peut aussi opter pour un tour en bateau en partant de Salerno direction costiera ou les îles. Vesuvio, Pompei, Ercolano, la mer tout est proche! La famille Palmieri est très disponible et à su nous guider avec ses conseils très utiles! Un grand merci pour ce séjour !

Bellissima vacanza!

La casa è grande e spaziosa, perfetta per un gruppo numeroso come era il nostro, eravamo 21!! Bellissimo il giardino, dotato anche di barbecue e docce. Comodissima anche la posizione, abbiamo raggiunto facilmente non solo il vicino sito archeologico di Paestum, ma anche la Costiera Amalfitana e altre spiagge bellissime. Infine i proprietari sono stati carinissimi e molto disponibili

la casa è bellissima grande e spaziosa ed il giardino favoloso soprattutto se le giornate sono assolate come quelle che abbiamo avuto noi....la casa è vicina al mare raggiungibile con l'auto e l'accoglienza è stata magnifica da parte di tutta la famiglia. Da ritornare sicuramente.

Einfach nur Wundervoll!!!

Ich kann euch diese Villa nur empfehlen!!Herr Palmieri ist ein sehr netter und zuvorkommender Vermieter.Er hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Wir waren 19 junge Leute und werden diesen Urlaub niemals vergessen!Die Villa ist sehr sauber und verfügt über alles was man braucht. Lage ist auch sehr gut da sehr ruhig aber innerhalb von 7 Autominuten ist man in der Stadt. 5Sterne und weiterempfehlung für ALLE!!!

Struttura Notevole

Ottima struttura, un ex casino di caccia borbonico, perfetta nell'accogliere più famiglie con bambini o gruppi numerosi di amici . La descrizione della struttura trascura nel segnalare la gentilezza e la disponibilità del proprietario. Meraviglioso e curato il giardino, la villa si trova fuori dal centro abitato in una zona di transito veicolare ma resta silenziosa ed facilmente raggiungibile. Notevole il numero delle stanze e dei bagni, tutto viene consegnato pulitissimo si può chiedere il noleggio della biancheria. L'area esterna è attrezzata con tavoli e sedie da giardino sotto una copertura a vela tra gli alberi, ideale per barbeque e pranzi all' aperto Nelle vicinanze degli scavi archeologici ( bastano pochi minuti di auto), e dal mare e proprio li vicino troverete i migliori caseifici della zona per gustare ottime mozzarelle di bufala. TUTTO PERFETTO !

Più che soddisfatti

Proprietario gentilissimo e disponibilissimo; casa grande, accogliente, bella e potrei andar avanti ancora un pò. Bello anche il parco tutto intorno. Attrezzature come da descrizione. Bagni praticamente in ogni camera e docce anche esterne. Tutto perfetto e consigliatissimo per gruppi di persone che voglion visitare paestum e d'intorni.

"Beautiful retreat!"

"There was none in our group of 18 who did not absolutely love this place! The outdoor meeting place, the large meeting room on the lower floor and the extended park make it just the right place for a large group. At the same time the numerous beautifully furnitured 2-bed-rooms permitted to withdraw into privacy. As we did lots of activities, the house provided just the right point of departure: We went North to the Amalfi Coast, South into Agropoli and the Cilento and to the mountains of the East - and the Sea is very close, too! The owner, Mr. Palmieri, was always there to make our stay more pleasant - even to the point of lending us his own guitar for singing! This is definitely a place everyone of us would highly recommend!"

"E'' una delle poche volt...

"E'' una delle poche volte che il sito non rende giustizia ad una villa bellissima con dei proprietari splendidi. adatta a gruppi di famiglie con figli o gruppi di amici numerosi, l''importante è prenotarla tutta e godersela fino in fondo, magnifico il parco.ci abbiamo passato una settimana bellissima in un contesto, il Cilento, degno di essere scoperto ogni giorno e da villa Palmieri questo è ancor più bello. non mancate l''appuntamento con Vannulo dove potrete mangiare il miglior yogurt e le più buone mozzarelle della Campania.non mancate una cena all''oasi del Granato."

"Siamo contentissimi dell...

"Siamo contentissimi dell''esperienza passata nella "Villa Palmieri" di Capaccio. La casa è ancora più bella di quello che ci si poteva immaginare dalle descrizioni del sito! Quello che pensavamo fosse un semplice giardino si è rivelato essere un vero e proprio parco, dove abbiamo ricavato un campo per giocare a calcetto-beachvolley (e molto altro spazio). L''attrezzatura fornita è completissima (si riesce tranquillamente a grigliare per 25-30 persone, essendoci tre bbq), le docce esterne sono dotate di acqua fredda e calda, il parco ha una zona cementata dove si può mangiare di giorno (all''ombra degli alberi-tende) e di sera, grazie alle luci che illuminano tutto il parco. La cucina è comodissima (e ha di fianco un grande refettorio) e ben fornita (ci sono addirittura due piani cottura e, se non ricordo male, quattro frigoriferi). Le dieci camere hanno ognuna due posti letto e, le più calde, sono dotate di aria condizionata (quasi ogni stanza, inoltre, ha il suo bagno). I proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibilissimi. Non potevamo aspettarci niente di meglio."

"La dimora principesca e ...

"La dimora principesca e il parco ampio e ben curato sono al di sopra delle aspettative che le foto posson creare. Il luogo è strategico per una visita dei posti più belli della Campania, dalla costiera amalfitana alle bellezze del Cilento. Una vacanza memorabile anche per i 7 ragazzini, che hanno saputo apprezzare anche la storia di questa terra. Un grazie speciale al proprietario che ha accompagnato la nostra permanenza con raffinata ospitalità."

"L''ospitalità è un''arte...

"L''ospitalità è un''arte ben conosciuta dai proprietari; la villa -ampia spaziosa- ha saputo accogliere noi dodici ospiti - viaggiatori più che adulti ciascuno con le proprie manie- in modo esemplare. La villa è poi centrale per le gite nel Cilento e sopratutto per Salerno che è stata una bellissima scoperta-"

"La villa è splendida e c...

"La villa è splendida e comodissima, anche per un numero elevato di persone. Noi ci siamo stati in 16, con un piano riservato ai ragazzi e uno agli adulti e ai piccoli, e avanzava spazio. Il parco è ombroso e tenuto eccezionalmente bene, ottimo per mangiare fuori e per leggere un libro sotto un albero. Abbiamo organizzato anche una grande caccia al tesoro. Ottima soluzione anche per chi non può/vuole andare sempre al mare, perchè stare a casa è piacevole. Tranquilla ma vicino al paese. Il proprietario è stato molto attento e cortese nelle nostre necessità. Assolutamente raccomandabile."

"Abbiamo passato un belli...

"Abbiamo passato un bellissimo capodanno a Paestum. La villa era sufficientemente grande per ospitarci tutti comodamente (eravamo in 20, tutti con la propia camera!) e bene attrezzata, anche in cucina. Il parco è magnifico. Anche il proprietario è molto disponibile. Consiglio questo soggiorno a tutti."
