The apartment really is as charming as it looks. The parking is easy, just set your gps to the street the parking is off of and it is right there. The entire medieval town is easily walkable and there is so much to do in the area, it was a memorable base.

Spectacular!

The property was absolutely gorgeous and the town was utterly breathtaking. The host was excellent- he responded to emails promptly and even met us in the parking lot to make sure we had no trouble finding the apartment. I am going to recommend this town and property to everyone I know!

Parking was a bit of a problem. We had far too much luggage, but there our host was there to help us. otherwise, the place was lovely and our hosts were most gracious.

Wonderful stay

We had a lovely stay here. Brigitte sent us clear directions (in French but one can easily translate it using devices) and the apartment was easy to find and get to on foot from the train station for me, my wife and our 11 year old daughter. The apartment is spacious and has a functional kitchen for us to cook all our meals. A simple but reasonably stocked Casino supermarket was 2 minutes walking away. At night it's quiet and there is a nice view out of the window. Our hosts can speak some English and kind enough to tolerate my broken French. =) Overall, we had a fantastic stay and we highly recommend this place!

A jewel of an apartment in a gem of a town.

A beautifully appointed apartment in the historic centre of Sarlat. We had everything we needed for self catering for two. With the town centre just 2 steps away, we were also able to take advantage of the restaurant scene. Fabrice met us on arrival, and gave us an introduction to the apartment and the surrounding area. Highly recommended as a place to enjoy Sarlat and explore the Dordogne region.

Beautiful Sarlat

The apartment was clean, beautiful and stocked with everything you need. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were modern and functioning properly. Pascal met us at the apartment and showed us the place, and then he escorted my husband to an area nearby to park the car. We would definitely return!

Charming apartment in the medieval city.

We really enjoyed this lovely apartment. It is one floor up in a Renaissance building and features beautiful exposed stonework and a nice view over a neighboring garden and rooftops. We found the apartment very comfortable. It was rainy and cold during our visit and the apartment felt cosey. The couch and bed are both comfortable,the kitchen and washing machine worked well and parking was convenient ,just up the hill. Thanks to Brigitte for checking to see how we were doing. We enjoyed our communication. We would certainly book again.

Fantastic apartment and location

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It is larger than it appears in the photos and was very new and clean and had everything we needed. It is very close to the main centre but still quiet as Rue de Siege is pedestrian only. Short walk to all the restaurants, boulangerie, etc. The parking up the street was easy to find however it is a bit of hill walk especially with luggage - not really a problem as we made it work but was not expecting it. Overall I would recommend this apartment and stay here again.

Un séjour charmant/ a delightful stay

The flat was ideally located in the old town, within distance to local businesses and the marché. The view was charming, overlooking the lush yard across the street and the roof tops and bell towers in the distance. Brigitte was great and very friendly, very accommodating. The flat is clean, newly remodeled with lots of vintage character. We had all we needed to dine in every night! We’ll stay there for sure for our next trip to Sarlat. Merci encore Brigitte! JC & Jon

Good location

The apartment served our needs we'll. An important positive point is that it's quiet. Another positive is the convenient parking about 150 meters away. A negative is that we had to work at figuring out how to find the parking. Another negative is that we had to buy toilet paper almost immediately and salt as well.

Location is very central. Only one flight of stairs. Just a tip for Sarlat visitors. It is very difficult to book a taxi and as the roads around Sarlat are narrow and windy walking would dangerous. I recommend planning and booking at least 2 days in advance for important bookings.

Lovely and relaxing apartment

Charming apartment situated in a quiet medieval neighborhood. The apartment is well appointed with a very comfortable bedroom. The space is nicely decorated and includes warm natural stone typical of the region. From the sitting area, there is a beautiful rooftop view overlooking Sarlat. We loved our 6 night stay in Sarlat knowing that after a busy day exploring Perigord and the Dordogne Valley, we could rest and recharge in the comfort, beauty, and quiet of this lovely space. My advice for those wishing to stay in Brigitte's wonderful apartment is to back your vehicle into Rue de Turenne about 50 meters where you will see an area where the Rue is wider which allows bags to be unloaded. You can leave your car there briefly and once checked in, Brigitte will direct you to car-parks in the area. I highly recommend this accommodation, thank you Brigitte!

Lovely Stay in Charming Sarlat Home

We stayed in Brigitte's charming Sarlat home in early August. Our group included myself and my 2 adult sons. Brigitte's apartment was spacious, nicely decorated and included all necessary amenities. The kitchen was well stocked for light meals. The clothes washer allowed us to pack less for our trip. The apartment is conveniently located in the heart of Sarlat, just a 2-minute walk to Place de la Liberte, the incredible Saturday Farmer's Market, and great restaurants. However, even at busy times in the village, the apartment was quiet and serene. There is a lovely view outside both the main room and the bedroom making you feel like you have been transported back in time. Within a matter of minutes, you can drive to a number of other villages, fortresses, and gorgeous vistas. We truly felt like locals. It was difficult to leave! Checking in was quick and easy. We were immediately met and welcomed with keys and a thorough review of the apartment. We were able to park just a 3-minute walk from the apartment and had no problem transporting our bags to the apartment and up the 1 flight of stairs. At checkout, I pulled my car into Rue de Turenne, quickly loaded our bags, and we were on our way. We can't wait to return! Thank you Brigitte for a lovely stay!

Superbe location!

Nous avons passé un délicieux séjour dans cette très belle location qui a beaucoup de cachet. La décoration est raffinée, le mobilier et la vaisselle sont recherchés et la literie est excellente. Nous avons ressenti que tout a été mis en oeuvre par nos hôtes pour assurer notre bien-être. Tout dans cette location idéalement située dans le coeur du vieux Sarlat, est à l'image de la ville: plein de charme de quiétude et d'harmonie. Nous remercions bien vivement Brigitte et son époux pour leur sympathique accueil.
