Wir befinden uns weniger als 30 Minuten von Marquette, der Northern Michigan University, dem Lake Superior Theater und dem Skigebiet Marquette Mountain entfernt. Dies ist ein perfekter Ort für einen Familienurlaub! Tahquemenon Falls, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, das Seney Wildlife Refuge, der Porcupine Mountain State Park, die Isle Royale und Mackinaw Island sind alle innerhalb weniger Autostunden zu erreichen. The property worked great for our snowmobile group. The host was amazing and responded to our last minute request to stay and also made arrangements for parking our trucks and trailers nearby in a secure area. The sleeping accommodations met our needs, although ttwo of the rooms lacked good heating for winter lodging

Great for all seasons!

We stayed in this house during the winter and it was spectacular! We were able to ice skate on the frozen lake and drink hot chocolate by the fire place. But the house has everything you need for the summer! It is also very well stocked if you like to cook. The house was absolutely perfect for our family of 8! Looking forward to coming next summer!

Wonderful Upper Peninsula Experience

We loved this house. It was lovely, clean, comfortable, in a quiet location on a beautiful lake. We enjoyed fishing in the lake. The house is close enough to Marquette that we were able to enjoy the Pictured Rocks boat tour and take advantage of dinners in some of the great restaurants in Marquette. Wonderful vacation!

Wonderful Stay

This place was amazing with the water on both sides. It offered something for everyone in our group kyaking, fishing, bonfires. Parking was a bit tight as we had four trucks and trailers with side by sides but we were able to make it work. We had a wonderful time riding the trails during the day and hanging out playing cards and sitting around the campfire at night. Would love to come back during the summer and again next fall. a great hangout spot

Peninsula Paradise

Our family found ourselves wanting to stay and enjoy the property more and it’s picturesque beauty. Originally we had planned to sight see the whole time and we were glad to enjoy the home half of our stay. Also, we were very impressed we could view the Northern lights on our last night. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the master bedroom’s views and will definitely come back to stay here! It was such a treat to have a view of the lake feol eaxh room in the house.

Absolutely amazing property!! From start to finish we LOVED everything about this rental. Dana, the property manager, really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was 5 star! Perfect Calm

Summer Family Getaway

This home was a wonderful stay for an extended family vacation. The home was spacious and well stocked. The outside area was wonderful. Our only negative feedback was regarding the lake, this is more of a fishing lake than a water sports lake in our opinion, and our boat was too large for this lake. Not the fault of the owners and we were able to enjoy their pontoon for the week which was very nice! However we would not bring our boat back to this location. Otherwise the stay was perfect!

Perfect Lake Getaway!

Myself and 5 other family members stayed at this beautiful lake house for a week! We absolutely loved every minute and had a great time making memories in the great UP! We traveled from Kentucky to the UP and was able to find something to get into everyday. We even took a day to sit around and relax. Dana was amazing with any questions we had. Family Vacation

We took our family (usually 10 but 8 this year) for our annual UP vacation and we all loved this property , this lake and this location. The house easily accomodated us all. The outside deck and furniture was awesome of all of relaxing, eating , visiting together or just watching the lake. The water by pier dock was shallow enough for our 2 year old grandson to walk around and play in . The fishing was great - which pleased us all. We would definitely visit here again .

A Hidden Gem

This house is located on a quiet lake and we had a great time swimming, kayaking, and riding in the pontoon boat. We saw bald eagles flying over the lake in the morning. The host provided everything we needed, including life jackets, towels, and water toys. There were ample bedrooms for our two families with kids. The property manager was very helpful when we had an issue come up requiring a repair and got it fixed the same day.

Perfect in every way

This place was perfect for our family of 12. Beautiful view of the lake on both sides of this cottage which actually is a home!!! It is extremely well furnished, clean and organized!! Has all the extras!!! Communication was excellent! We had great weather and enjoyed all their yard games, kayaks, and paddle boards! Lots of fish were caught as well! They even spoiled us with some local treats to welcome us! Our ages ranged from 80 down to 8 - there was something for everyone to do!

Cozy Lake House

We rented this lake house for a visit to my father's childhood home in Sagola. Not much is close to Sagola so we were happy to find a spacious home on the lake that could accommodate our family of 8 adults. Our GPS got confused and we were a bit lost on the way, but our host was incredibly helpful and gave us step by step directions to find the home. It was easy to access and to unload our belongings. The home listing is accurate and the photos are current. The views are amazing! It was also very quiet as the home is at the end of a road and the neighbors are not too close; it felt very private. There are some odd nuances like having to make the beds upon arrival (no idea why sheets are not on the beds), and a pretty long list of clean up upon departure. This home is very likely not often rented and is used more as a family home in which guests would not mind making beds, stripping beds, putting laundry into bags and clearing trash for the host. The cleaning fee is marginal for the size of the property, so it was not much of an imposition. Those nuances aside, this place is very comfortable and private and has beautiful views. There are gas and grocery options within a short drive, so it is not too remote either. I would recommend this lake house to others who need a place to stay in this part of the Upper Peninsula.

Relaxation!!! Just what we needed

My family and the families of my 2 sisters met at this incredible home for a Memorial Week get away. It was PERFECT! We had 6 adults and 7 kids and we had MORE than enough room. The home is situated on a quiet lake at the end of a peninsula, so you are virtually surrounded by lake views. It has all the things needed, so all we had to bring were our clothes and food! Wonderfully comfortable bedding, clean fully appointed kitchen (even had a Keurig!) 3 separate "Living" areas, so everyone had space. TV's in each room, wireless.. and we haven't even started on the outdoor stuff! I can't say enough about this place. We spent our days fishing, kayaking, and Jet skiing.. and the evening in the hot tub, having bonfires and making S'mores...Fall asleep to the sounds of spring peepers and wake up to the call of the loons. PERFECT! Something for everyone...and the space to enjoy and relax. Thank you Sue and Scott. We will be back. Quality Lake Home, Great for a Group

Our family enjoyed our stay. The common areas are spacious, well-appointed, and good for a large group. The outdoor seating and lake views were lovely. The master bedroom was large and lake facing with a comfy bed. The queen bedrooms and the double bunk bedroom were nice as well. The 5th bedroom with the twin beds did not work out for our family as it was really cold in that room and the water heater was pretty noisy in there. Overall, a quality place to stay with above average lake views and access.

Wonderful 6 nights on a beautiful lake

Great fishing for the kids. Very roomy for 14 of us. Lots of outside chairs available. Lots of firewood. Plenty of life jackets. Lots of forks for smores. Having 2 refrigerators was great. Nice shallow water for younger kids. Would have been nice to have more microwave dishes. Master bedroom had an amazing view but could have used a privacy screen for dressing since anybody from the outside could see in.

We recently purchased the Bass Lake Retreat. I grew up in Marquette and spent a lot of time on lakes around Gwinn. My wife is half Yooper and enjoyed summers in the UP as a kid. We now have our own family and live in lower Michigan, but spend a lot of time in the UP. We have family on Bass Lake and have fallen in love with it visiting over the last few years. When we heard this place was for sale we jumped at the opportunity to have a place of our own on this beautiful lake. We plan on making countless memories here.
