Dieses wunderschön gestaltete und renovierte Rom Kolosseum Apartment bietet den Komfort eines modernen Hauses in historischer Atmosphäre. Es ist ideal für große Familien oder große Gruppen von Freunden, da es in 3 Schlafzimmern und im Wohnzimmer Platz für bis zu 9 Personen bietet. Die Wohnung ist hell und absolut ruhig, da die großen Fenster zu den Innenhöfen zeigen. Es besteht aus 2 Schlafzimmern mit jeweils einem Kingsize-Bett, 1 Schlafzimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten (die als Kingsize-Bett zusammengestellt werden können), 2 modernen und eleganten Badezimmern mit Dusche und einem Wohnzimmer mit Schlafsofa, Tisch, Stühlen und einer voll ausgestatteten Küche Küche. Ein kleines Cabrio-Zusatzbett kann in ein Schlafzimmer gestellt werden.

Die Lage des Rome Colosseum Apartment ist ausgezeichnet, nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von den wichtigsten Monumenten und Sehenswürdigkeiten des antiken Rom entfernt: Kolosseum, Forum Romanum, Palatin, Konstantinsbogen, Domus Aurea von Nero, Basilika S. Clemens, Die Papstbasilika von S. John Lateran, die Basilika von S. Mary Major, der Circus Maximus, Mund der Wahrheit und Aventin.

Das historische Zentrum und die anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen, auch wenn Sie mit der U-Bahn anreisen: Trevi-Brunnen, Spanische Treppe, Navona-Platz, Campo dei Fiori, Galleria Borghese usw.

Rome Vacation

Visited Rome with our two adult daughters. Apartment was central for sightseeing, restaurants. Paolo was very responsive. Check in was fast and easy. We hated to leave!

Wonderful stay in Rome

We had a lovely stay in Rome. Paolo was incredibly helpful regarding arranging transportation for 5 members of our family, providing information regarding a local market and coffee/pastry location. Great location

This apartment was in a great location to walk to multiple shops, food and tourist spots. Easy to grab a cab from the front door for further adventures. The host was responsive and helpful. Plenty of room for our large group.

Great Colosseum rental

The apartment is very closed to the colosseum on a fifth floor with elevator. The apartment is somewhat old but well maintained and renewed bathrooms. Paolo was an excellent host, always available and helping us with the transfer and recommendations.

Fabulous location, clean and modern apartment

Paolo was a fantastic host, incredibly helpful and friendly - and he recommended a fabulous restaurant that became our favorite in Rome! The apartments were wonderfully located, clean, and modern in a beautiful historic building. Wifi worked great, very fast. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while exploring Rome! A great apartment for a family vacation in Rome

We had a wonderful stay at Paolo's. The apartment is beautiful decorated and was ideally appointed for our family of 5. We loved the location - a 5 minute walk from the Colosseum/Forum, and yet far enough away from the tourist crowds to allow us a break. The apartment is also close to some excellent neighborhood restaurants and convenient to good grocery stores. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Rome!

Lovely apartment

We had 12 magical days in Rome with our family of 5. 3 daughters from ages 21-32 This was an excellent location with a view of the colosseum as soon as you step out to the street. Apartment is just as it appears in the pics although a little narrower but I expected that. Clean and quiet. Paolo was super responsive to any question and he helped us immensely in getting a private driver for a day trip. Would definitely stay here again!

Good location. Close to the colosseum

Location is very good short walk to the colosseum. Bedrooms are a good size. Communication with Paolo was great and he helped arrange our transportation to and from the airport (at our cost but it was nice). Easy walk to several restaurants. Kitchen amenities okay but could be improved. However, I would not stay again for 3 reasons. First, the A/C was set at 18F and this was not cool enough at night and we had to sleep with shirts off 1 or 2 nights (to be fair, we live in Minnesota and we went in summer when the highs were 95F). This might not be an issue if you go when it’s cooler. Second, the showers were tiny. Lastly, there was no TV in the living room.

Excellent apartment

We super love paolo' s place. It was clean, modern and has everything we needed to make us feel at home. It was very close to the colloseum. Easy access to public transportation. Paolo was very nice and easy to deal with. We will definitely choose his place again when we go back to roma. Thanks Paolo for letting us stay in your lovely place.

Our Roman Holiday Was Great

My family and some friends, 8 of us total, recently stayed at Paolo's apartment in Rome, it was exactly as presented on Home Away. The apartment was very clean, and very close to the Colosseum and access to the bus lines were right outside of the facility, very easy to use. The apartment is very safe and kept warm for us as it was a little chilly outside this time of year. Paolo also arranged for a tourist guide for a few days, per our request which I highly recommend if you decide to go this route. I highly recommend this property, thanks to Paolo, we would stay here again.

Great property & great host

We stayed with our four young adult/teen children in this property this week. Everyone had plenty of room, and the beds were comfortable. The host, Paolo, was great with communication if we had questions, booked a taxi pickup for us and stored our baggage after checkout when we were staying a little longer in Rome. The property is as it appears in the pictures, there are TVs in all bedrooms where you can login to your Netflix account (my boys liked this) and the air conditioning works great which is needed during the summer. There is a washer/dryer combo in the apartment which is helpful for washing during the summer. It takes a little reading of the instructions to figure out, and a long time (4-5) hours per load to wash & dry which is a lot longer than we are used to in the US, but it did work great once we figured it out. All in all a great place close to the Colosseum to stay with our family.

Great Location and Wonderful Host

The obvious plus is the location -- so close to the Colosseum! But the extra plus is Paolo -- he was very helpful. He arranged our pickup from the airport and spent quite a while with us at the apartment going over a city map and helping us get oriented. He had a book with information about restaurants, sight seeing, and shopping nearby. The apartment was clean and roomy. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very nice. The air conditioning, elevator, and washing machine made this apartment extra nice. The neighborhood was very nice, and we felt safe walking at night -- which I would recommend because it is absolutely beautiful.

Great host, disappointing property

Paolo was a fantastic host and incredibly responsive to our questions! He was helpful in arranging transfers to and from the airport and even organizing a couple cab rides to various sites. Unfortunately the place was just dirty. Dust bunnies were all over the floors and inside the wardrobes. I dropped an earring on the floor and was frankly grossed out when I bent down to pick it up. The showers were exceedingly small and unfortunately leaked quite a bit, resulting in water getting all over the bathroom floors after a rinse off. The beds weren't very comfortable but did the job after long days walking around Rome. All in all, I wouldn't stay here again.

Great place

The apartment was just as described. Beds comfortable and AC is cold in every room. Loved the washer but the dryer was terrible- beat to hang clothes up to dry. Kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook. Elevator was great since it is on the 5th floor/ Paolo was very attentive the whole time and even met us there upon arrival. Warning- beware many pickpockets on metro. My wallet was lifted by 2 girls working together. Don’t talk to anyone- just do your thing and ignore the other people.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spacious and quiet with easy access to all the Roman sites. All the amenities were as described along with a few extras like umbrellas (which were needed with the sudden rain). The beds were comfortable and it was great to have room and privacy for the entire family. It was easy to walk or catch a taxi from this location. And the view of the coliseum at the end of the street was pretty special! Paolo greeted us when we arrived and walked us through the apartment, answered all our questions and arranged for return to the airport later in the week. (He arranged our pick up when we arrived too. Transportation was in a comfortable MB van, making the ride very enjoyable!). This exceeded my expectations - the accommodations were perfect, host is very responsive, and couldn't be in a better location! As for the unexpected - Paolo informed us when we arrived that WiFi in the bedrooms wasn't working (it worked in the common area) but he already called for service and it could probably be fixed remotely. (We arrived on the weekend.) However, the service people needed to come in the property to fix it on Monday. He called us first to be sure it would be ok for them to access the apartment and gained our approval before proceeding. By the time we returned from site seeing, the WiFi was fixed. He was very respectful and courteous and we appreciated the communication. This is a well managed apartment by an honest man. Enjoy your stay!

To make a vacation “unforgettable” I think that the most important ingredients are a nice and modern apartment, an excellent and lively location close to sights and transportation and a good assistance during the stay. My goal is to make your vacation a real experience: local restaurants where Roman go, tips to skip lines at the museums or sights, suggestions to enjoy “hidden spots”. The location is unique. The Colosseum, the most important monument in Rome, is only 400 meters far from the apartment. The area is the most ancient part of Rome and also the most dense of monuments, churches, museums and archaeological sites. The area is also served by metro/underground/bus/tram. If you decide to stay in my apartment you will be able to walk everywhere saving lot of time and energies!
