Wenn Sie einen Ort suchen, an dem Sie dem Stress entfliehen können, suchen Sie nicht weiter. 'Laurel Creek' ist der Ort, an dem Sie sich ausruhen möchten! Diese Hütte ist neu und hat einen tollen Blick auf den Bach.

Wir haben eine Hauswasserfilteranlage installiert, damit kein hartes Wasser, das schlecht schmeckt und aussieht oder Gerüche hat. Installiert 20.10.18.

Die Nichtraucherhütte ist komplett neu möbliert und sehr geschmackvoll mit ländlichem Charme eingerichtet. Sie können sich auf einer der Wippen zurücklehnen und ein schönes Buch lesen oder einfach mit einem geliebten Menschen bei einem kalten Glas Limonade auf der Veranda schwingen, während Sie dem plätschernden Bach lauschen.

Es gibt eine umlaufende Veranda mit einer privaten Veranda neben dem Hauptschlafzimmer, eine großartige Aussicht auf den Bach! Die Kinder werden den Bach lieben, schauen Sie einfach unter ein paar Felsen und entdecken Sie alle Arten von Lebewesen. Vielleicht sehen Sie sogar ein oder zwei Biber, die im Bach spielen oder vorbeiziehen. Lassen Sie etwas Mais für Rehe im Hinterhof fressen.

Im Herbst hören Sie die wilden Truthähne und entdecken ein Reh auf der Wiese, die nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt ist. Beenden Sie Ihren Tag mit einem entspannten Aufenthalt im Whirlpool auf unserer Terrasse, während Sie die Sterne beobachten!

Family Time

Cabin location was great. Property was very nice with big yard, creek flowing past. Hot tub and decks with comfortable seating made it a very enjoyable place to stay and spend time together.

Cabin in Murphy suburbs

Nice cabin next to babbling creek with great back yard and amenities. Saw some wild creatures including a red fox. Interior is well appointed with cozy furnishings and decorations. Ample towels for bathing and hot tubbing. Kitchen adequately supplied with cooking utensils and pots.

Our anniversary getaway was amazing at this beautiful cabin! My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this cute, clean, cozy home! It was equipped with anything you might need, good location, and the hot tub and creek were relaxing and the perfect finishing touch! We will be back!

Weekend getaway

This cabin was beautiful. It was exactly as pictured online. Very clean, very comfortable, and very spacious. Everything you need for our stay was on hand. The hosts were very helpful and finding a fishing location and answered any questions I had very quickly. We had a great time and hope to come back soon.

This place was set back off a quiet street and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. We had our dog with us and he was able to run around the yard which was nice. I had my morning coffee sitting in the upper balcony watching the dog play below in the fall early morning mist.. the sounds of the creek were also really nice❤️

Not great but ok

Overall we had an ok stay. The home was very nice and had conveniences for a family. Fishing on the property was the selling point for us, but there were no fish in the creek. The water was low enough for my kids to play in it though. There was a lot of pet hair over the seating in the main area of the home and my family was eaten alive by small black bugs in the house. The beds in the two bedrooms were squeaky and a bit uncomfortable. The owner was responsive.

Peeling paint on the steps leading to the wrap-around deck as well as peeling paint on the entire deck. Of the five chairs around the fire pit, two had broken arms. Musty odor in the house as well as the musty fresh towels. Water in upstairs bedroom sink had air in the lines both nights.Hot tub had strong chemical odor and left a film on the skin. Downstairs couch was old and broken. Other issues: No fan above the stove so when whatever spill was left on the electric eye burned off, there was no fan to clear it up. I have never been in any house without a fan over the stove. Major issue was the water. On Sunday, in the middle of my daughter’s shower and the water stopped completely at 9:15am but we had to be out by 10am. I checked the sinks & bathroom faucets and there was no water there. Husband and I had taken a quick shower that morning and we both noticed there was a film from the water on the skin. We are not sure if the water is well water, but it acted that way. Also, not sure how often the hot tub water is replaced because it took 6 washes to get the funk out of our beach towels and swimsuits when I got home. I had put the bed sheets in the washer and added detergent prior to my daughter’s shower so it would be the last thing we do. However, I did not start the laundry because I was not going to be responsible for a new washer since there was no water. I left a note for housekeeping on the frig so they would see it. Worst VRBO ever!

Nice remote older cabin

The property was fine for me and my 2 dogs. Although there were 2 bedrooms/baths, I only used upstairs bedroom/bath. The property is pie shaped so a bit narrow in back with creek running down left side. The hot tub was ok but cover seemed awkward since you have to fold and lift off manually and it's not the lightest. The hot tub appeared to be recently shocked so sentiment was sitting on bench and floor but water was clear and perfect temperature. The house worked for our needs, especially liked oversized washer/drier that came in convenient with dogs. The only thing that shocked me is I had to move some electronic plugin, next to kitchen table, so I could plug my laptop in. I moved it to another plug outlet close by. When I was packing up, I went to move the electronic plugin back to its original location but it was gone. I left cabin locked anytime I was off property and at night so someone must have accessed cabin while I was out. Just very strange because I didn't have any notice of this. I have no idea why someone would remove an electronic plugin from property.

Hello, we are Tim and Kathy Shearer and are the owners of Laurel Creek Cabin. We live in sunny south Florida with our three beautiful daughters. We love the warm weather and beach here, but we also love to get away and go to the mountains and stay at Laurel Creek. We decided to let others stay at our lovely cabin in 2004. Of course many of our close friends and family jumped into the offers we gave to them. They all loved it and that's when we opened it to all to enjoy. We decided to buy in this location because of it being in the tri-state area, meaning within minutes to TN, NC, and GA. We also liked the peacefulness and all the many places to see and do in the area. We had been coming to this area for five years and decided just to buy since we loved it so much.
