Das charmante viktorianische Stil Haus, in dem malerischen Dorf Onekama befindet, für 7 Gäste. Die Master Suite verfügt über ein eigenes Bad und Queensize-Bett. Zusätzliche Schlafzimmer upstais stellen ein Paar von zwei Einzelbetten und ein weiteres Doppelbett. Ein Full-Size-Schlafsofa im Erdgeschoss bietet ein zusätzliches Bett, wenn nötig. 2 1/2 Bäder machen dieses Haus ideal für große Familienurlaub. Der Rest des Hauses ist komplett eingerichtet und für Ihren perfekten Sommer Strandurlaub ausgestattet!

Nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag am Strand, ein Feuer oder Grill einige Steaks im privaten, umzäunten Garten. Ein natürlichen artesischen Brunnen Brunnen alle der Hintergrundmusik Sie benötigen. Die große überdachte Veranda bietet einen zusätzlichen Ort, um sich zurücklehnen und entspannen Sie sich nach einem anstrengenden Tag zu erkunden.

Das Haus ist bequem über die Straße aus dem All Sports Portage Lake und liegt etwa 4 Meilen vom Lake Michigan öffentlichen Zugang zum Strand.

Great location!

We loved this house in Onekama! The front porch was fabulous, the accommodations well appointed and comfortable. The best thing about this place was the host—super accommodating with prompt responses. Would love to stay again!

Great host

We loved our time at Rob's cottage. He's a great host and answered all are questions immediately. The house is clean, roomy, and very nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed. Lots of nice seating areas including one overlooking the lovely back yard. We enjoyed sitting on the porches. Only negative was that the living room furniture is worn in and too soft for me. Would definitely stay here again. Easy access to all the area has to offer.

A delight

this house was perfect for what I was looking for - a place to work away from home while being able to visit family nearby and see the beauty of northern Michigan on the weekends. Owner Rob was really great - fast responses, house was exactly as described and everything I could need was there. It was great - an easy, delightful stay. I'd love to return ! Perfect for our golf outing

Rented for 2 nights to play the local courses. It slept 8 comfortably. Very clean and Robert was nice enough to let us check in early. Awesome location right night to a tavern, grocery store and gas station all within a 2 minute walk.

Destination Beach Wedding

Having lived in Manistee county as a child, & enjoying Portage Point Beach then & eventually vacationing there regularly; my son & his bride chose to wait out Covid, & marry with family and friends at Onekema on the beach in 2021. We felt so welcomed & at home at this cottage, with our daughter & family. Spacious, immaculate & lovingly decorated .Everything we needed for respite between wedding events. Hard to pack up & head home.

Fun Summer Vacation Spot in Onekama

Perfect spot for our family of five (2 + 3 kids). Lots of games and books for the kids, two sitting areas for the people who just need some quiet time, wrap around porch for even more space, and a Smart TV for the early morning episodes of Thomas the Train with a toddler (thank you!).. Lots of light in the main living area, newer washer and dryer, and a great backyard for grilling (charcoal) and hanging out around the bonfire pit. Upstairs was a little stuffier than the lower level, sure, but the kids and adult sleeping upstairs didn't mind too much on the hot and humid week we were there. You can literally see the gas station / nearly everything store out the windows, across M-22. We've already booked for Summer 2022!

A great Onekama stay

We’ve rented this house for several years for our family vacation. We started in our camper at Little Eden camp and have outgrown it! This is the perfect place for extra beds and extra space. We love it! Rob is a great communicator and easy to get ahold of. Highly recommend this house and host!

Great place to stay!

Home was perfect for our family, it was clean, roomy and nicely decorated. It was very easy to communicate with the owner. It was a short drive to the many nearby beaches on Lake Michigan! We felt very comfortable staying there. We had a great vacation!

Lake Town of Yesteryear

Lovely cottage in a lake town that takes one back in time (no Starbucks or McDonalds here!). Two baby fawn greeted us on the lawn upon our arrival. We had generally mild weather, but could have really used air conditioning in the upstairs bedrooms for part of our stay (fans are provided and AC works on the first floor). Linens provided, beds are yours to make. Communication with Rob was easy. Great get away!

Convenient location

The property is conveniently located near the lake, shops, eateries and a Market for quick grocery shopping needs. The house was a little dusty and there was (dog?) fur on some of the furniture. The house had a good amount of space, though, so we were comfortable and had a nice stay overall.

Weekend getaway

This was a very nice place to stay. It had plenty enough room for us. We enjoyed the nice deck area to relax in as well as the awesome front porch. We loved how cozy it was decorated and enjoyed the bird feeders. It’s very convenient being across the street from a grocery store. Robert was a nice host. My only complaint is that the water smelled like sulfur. We are so glad we booked this for our weekend getaway!

Cozy house near the lake & trails

Had a very nice weekend at Robert's house. The house extremely clean when we got in. Rob had all the kitchen essentials and a ton of board games too. Since it was fall, we did not get to explore the town, but there are a lot of trails nearby to explore.

Quaint place with all the necessaries!

Cute place on a quiet street, really close to casino and the beach! Rob communicated frequently throughout the weekend, and was very receptive to us. Tap water smells like sulfur, so having bottled water for drinking is good. We made coffee with the tap water and it was not bad at all. Bedrooms are cozy and lots of windows to open to let the breeze in. Patio and deck chairs are all nice and backyard is very private for relaxing and chatting. Lots of things in the kitchen left from others, so chances are you won’t be without anything! TV worked great, Netflix and cable all worked fine!

The photos will show it is a well maintained old house. Inside looks like it has recently been renovated. nice work. It felt very neat and comfortable. They had everything we needed. It was nice to have a few of the extras such as spices, condiments, etc. so you didn't have to buy everything. The owner responded quickly to any questions. We enjoyed our stay.

Cute and comfortable

This cottage was very cute and would have been more comfortable if the central air had been working. There were window units in all the bedrooms, thankfully. The kitchen was very hot when several people were trying to cook. The cool nights were welcomed. I did feel that it could have been a bit cleaner, the bath mats were dirty so I washed them. The location was great for beach days at Portage Point, dinner at The Glenwood, shopping at Macbeth & Comand downtown Manistee.

Not bad

Location was good, close to beaches. I don’t think the central air was working, just in-room AC. Main floor shower and some other surfaces were not clean - I had to clean the shower myself. Home needs a good deep cleaning. Owner was responsive in fixing a shower head in the upstairs bath. Nice pitches and deck.

A great stay

We have an annual campsite at a local camp but our family has outgrown the camper! This house provides the additional beds needed along with other amenities such as shelter from the rain, laundry, etc. The bonus is that it’s such a nice house - not at all like camping!! Thanks Rob!
