We had lovely holidays
First of all thank you Teresa and Glenn for having us! We really enjoyed the stay at your place.
*** The House ***
We were a party of five people and the three bedrooms were just right for us. The kitchen was well equipped, the living room provided enough space to sit and relax for us. Also, the dining space was enough for five.
All beds provided comfortable mattresses, sufficient pillows and blankets. The bathrooms were all clean and spacious for us to also fit our surfing gear (not the surf boards (: ).
In the garage there were 6 bikes, body boards, and a skimboard we used. That was a cool add-on.
To sum it up, the house was great for the five of us!
*** The neighborhood ***
Quiet, and friendly neighbors. Princeton Jetty (the beach) is a convenient 6 minutes walk. Mavericks (a quite famous surf spot) is a 15 - 20min bike ride away. For groceries we went to Halfmoon Bay, which is a 10min drive.
Overall, for a family retreat and getting away from the city this place was the right choice for us.
*** Location ***
As we were exploring San Francisco, San Mateo County, San Jose, and Marin County the house was well located as we got to all our destinations fairly quickly. During rushhour the Highway 1, which gets you to the house, becomes quite busy and you will have to factor in some extra time.
Overall, we enjoyed the house, the neighborhood, and ourselves. Thank you!
