Haus am Wasser mit Dock * Schlafmöglichkeiten für 14 *

Jolly Shores liegt auf einem fast 30 Hektar großen Grundstück am Wasser in der südwestlichen Ecke der Insel Daufuskie Island (wie es den Einheimischen bekannt ist) und ist der perfekte Ort für Veranstaltungen und Kurzurlaube. Eine rustikale Umgebung und die Nummer eins unter den Mietobjekten auf der Insel Daufuskie. Gäste können den Tag damit verbringen, vom Dock aus zu fischen, sich in der Sonne zu entspannen und die Annehmlichkeiten vor Ort zu nutzen (Billard- und Ping-Pong-Tische, Volleyballplatz, Kochbereiche usw.). oder besuchen Sie nahe gelegene Sehenswürdigkeiten (Strände, Restaurants, historische Sehenswürdigkeiten).

Die Unterkünfte umfassen 7 Schlafzimmer (4 Queensize-Betten, 2 Kingsize-Betten, 2 Einzelbetten), 6 Badezimmer, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, eine Waschküche (Waschmaschine und Trockner), ein Wohnzimmer und eine 2.000 m² große Veranda. Das Haupthaus verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer und 2 Bäder. Das Gästehaus verfügt über 4 Schlafzimmer und 4 Bäder und liegt weniger als 50 m entfernt.

Die Gäste finden auch in ihrem Aufenthalt enthalten: Bettwäsche und Handtücher, Endreinigung, lokales Telefon, TV und WLAN.

Zum Transport gehören zwei Golfwagen.

Dirty

The host was very responsive and helpful leading up to our trip. However, upon arrival I was horrified at the lack of cleanliness of the property. It was absolutely filthy and appeared to have not had a drop of TLC in quite sometime. I will definitely be back Daufuskie but will absolutely never stay at Jolly Shores again. If you’re someone who like camping then maybe this property is a good fit but if you’re someone who doesn’t like bugs and vines growing indoors then I’d say avoid this property at all cost.

Great fun for our large group!

We always love Jolly Shores. The golf carts, pool table, ping pong table, big TV, ice machine (😍), and TWO refrigerators are really great additions! We love all the private bed and bath options, too. This location offers all the flexibility that we needed- including a dock for our boating friends who joined us! We cooked, laughed, sung, napped, and hung out together and enjoyed the best sunsets on the island!

Laidback lowcountry vacation

Excellent spot if you have a large group. The communal screened-in porch with a commercial ice machine, bar, pool table, etc. is perfect for entertaining. Huge property with a dock and plenty of room for outdoor activities. The owner was extremely helpful and took great care of us!

we had a wonderful time with lifelong friends at this somewhat rustic and very laid back destination. don’t look for a four star resort, look for an escape from the rush of the world. we never even turned the tv on. we are planning our next stay

Christmas on Daufuskie

Great property- great owner! We enjoyed the house and property very much. Because of the Arctic blast that Mother Nature sent us, we weren’t able to enjoy the property as much as we wanted to. We did brave the cold to do some sightseeing and eat out one night. We visited the distillery twice; great bourbon and rum! The Christmas tree was a great touch! We are already planning another trip to Jolly Shores to experience it to its full potential.

The golf cart with no roof would not maintain a charge and we actually had to tow it back after only having it out for an hour. We ended up just renting another cart from tour Daufuskie. Most everything else was satisfactory. See y’all next year!

Great location for big groups

We had a wonderful time at Jolly Shores. The location is fantastic. Great privacy. The deepwater dock was great for our boat and for fishing. Very rustic accommodations, but everything that you need for a large group. The icemaker is a great bonus!

Loved Jolly Shores

This place is truly a hidden gem. It accommodated 12 of us very comfortably. We had a little hiccup in the beginning because I was told the boat would drop us off at Jolly Shores dock but when we got there they brought us to the public landing instead. We had no way of transporting us and all our luggage to the house. We called the owner and he immediately came with 3 vehicles to pick us up. I can't say enough about how awesome the owner was to us. The house is simple, just like the pictures show. However, it was exactly as I expected it. We had so much fun and felt like we were the only people on the island at this remote getaway. We are already planning our next trip. Thanks Kacey and Kathrine for everything.

Had fun at Jolly shores

Perfect property for a large group of guys. Came with two golf carts to explore the island. The charger was a little tricky on one of them but the owner is very responsive and got right back to us and we got it figured out. Had tons of space for games and we loved having the pool table ping pong table and the fire pit. Very rustic property and exactly what we were looking for to get away from the mainland and experience daufuskie island. Had a great time and will be back! Thank you jolly shores!

Daufuskie Island Getaway

Daufuskie Island & Jolly Shores was a blast! We loved the area and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were great for our family with each one having a bathroom and shower area, but the screened in porch with that view was our favorite spot! We enjoyed the golf cart adventures around Daufuskie and the laid back atmosphere of the whole island! Thank you Scott for allowing us to stay at your property.

One of a Kind

For our group (mostly comprised of men who love the Lowcountry and enjoy the outdoors) Jolly Shores was the perfect Daufuski match! Beautiful location with a dock that is invaluable when it comes to fishing, boating, sunning, etc… This place offers a rustic, camp-like feel and will probably not be suitable to someone who fancies luxurious lodging; however; what it lacks in finesse, it makes up for in charm. Jolly Shores is a lodging experience that is a direct reflection of the magic that sets the island of Daufuski apart from others.

Incredible place for a big group

Jolly Shores is an amazing property for a large group. The location is incredible and there are endless games to play, not to mention your very own bar to sidle up to! It is on the rustic side, as some of the other reviewers have noted, but it does not detract from it as an incredible desitnation.
