Bamboo Haus und zusätzliches Cottage auf Bio-Kaffee Bauernhof

Genießen Sie das Bamboo-Haus mit herrlichem Panoramablick auf den Vulkan Poas und das Central Valley. Dies ist ein einzigartiger Wohnraum, der von dem großen costaricanischen Bambusbauer Martin Cato entworfen wurde. Die handgemachte Bambusdecke steigt zu einer Glaskuppel, die nachts den Mondstrahl fokussiert, während sie über die Hand gelegt wird, die Hartholz und Steinboden gelegt wird. Das natürliche Licht beleuchtet den Platz von jeder Seite für eine 360-Grad-Ansicht - siehe die wundervollen mehrfarbigen Kolibris, Schmetterlinge, Kaffeefelder, Bananenpflanzen und grandiosen Farben der costaricanischen Natur. Das Haus befindet sich in der Mitte eines fünf Hektar großen Bio-Bauernhof. Sehr privat und friedlich. Ein Teil unserer Vision ist, nachhaltig zu leben, so dass das Haus solarbetrieben ist. Sie können immer noch über das Internet verbunden bleiben.

Wir lieben es, spät am Nachmittag auf dem Deck zu sitzen, Getränke zu trinken und die Sonne zu beobachten!

Du wirst den ganzen Tag hängen lassen, also haben wir Gasherd, Kühlschrank und alle Kochutensilien zur Verfügung gestellt. Es gibt ein Queen-Bett in der Bambus-Haus und Bad über das Deck. Schauen Sie sich die virtuelle Tour im Fotos-Bereich an!

Darüber hinaus haben wir eine weitere Hütte neben dem Haus perfekt für ein zweites Paar oder Kinder.

Der Raum hat eine Schlafcouch und Dachboden sowie eine Kochnische und Bad. Die Hütte hat eine Terrasse mit Blick auf Bananenbäume und die Berge. Darüber hinaus gibt es eine Feuerstelle und Gartenbereich verbindet die 2 Wohnräume. Du wirst den lokal hergestellten Handwerker bbq Grill im Hinterhof lieben.

Machen Sie einen Besichtigung der Immobilie mit Jose, unserem Hausmeister. Er liebt die Menschen und freut sich immer, Ihnen den Bauernhof zu zeigen. Beobachte ihn braten eine Menge von unserem reichhaltigen, leckeren Kaffee - du wirst am nächsten Tag den frischen Braten trinken. Es ist verwandt mit frischem Brot direkt aus dem Ofen!

Wunderschönes einzigartiges Haus in großartiger Natur
Hier kann man herrlich die Seele baumeln lassen und im eigenen paradiesischen Garten die Natur und die Ruhe genießen. Entspannt im Schaukelstuhl auf der Terrasse die Vogelwelt beobachten und dabei z.B. frische Erdbeeren schlemmen, die überall im Umland angeboten werden. Tolle Ausflugsziele gibt es obendrein (Poas Vulkan, La Paz Waterfall Gardens...) Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, das Haus ist perfekt für 2-3 Personen oder mit dem zusätzlichen Ferienhaus nebenan (wird vermutlich nur zusammen mit dem Haus vermietet, war während unseres Aufenthalts frei) auch für mehr. Jose wohnt etwas entfernt auf dem Gelände und steht sehr gerne mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. Perfekt, um in den Costa Rica Urlaub zu starten oder ihn ausklingen zu lassen, 45 Min. bis zum Airport. Einfach schön.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!
Where to begin?! Alajuela and the surrounding areas are truly amazing. Little did we know the mountains, curving roads and small villages we drove through to get here was just the beginning to an amazing experience. We couldn’t have timed our stay better as Jose was just harvesting the coffee beans and with Jose’s guidance we learned so much. The coffee house was amazing with its architecture and surroundings. We truly felt like we experienced a true Costa Rican life style. We highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience it all!!

Zum Abschluss unserer Rundreise haben wir hier 2 Nächte verbracht. Mit dem Auto sind wir in ca. 40 Minuten zum Vulkan Poas gefahren. Der Flughafen ist gut erreichbar. Die Ausstattung und Lage entsprachen der Beschreibung. Wir haben eine genaue Beschreibung für die Anfahrt erhalten und hatten keine Probleme, das Haus zu finden. Der Verwalter vor Ort war immer erreichbar.

Eco - coffee tour.
Final stop while visiting Costa Rica. House is very comfortable for a couple, but as 3 that needed separate sleeping accommodations, it was less than ideal. Very remote and private location - beautiful setting - well maintained - was not as bird or wildlife influenced as other places we visited, but wonderful nonetheless. We’d stay here again.

Very peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful with a wonderful sleep on comfortable bed. Jose the manager was fabulous. The only reason for a 4 star was it was difficult to get the hot water in the shower adjusted. I guess it needs a new knob. Also, which no fault of owner, the road is very rough getting to their drive. You do need a 4 wheel drive.

Lovely Bamboo Casita
We felt relaxed the moment we arrived at the casita. The wrap around deck was very inviting with the rocking chairs where we enjoyed our morning coffee, and an evening glass of wine. Jose, the caretaker of the coffee farm kindly gave us some fresh roasted coffee beans when we arrived, and later in the week gave us a farm tour. The castita was well stocked with all the essentials, and we enjoyed the use of the barbecue, and the firepit. Thanks for a lovely week at your little slice of paradise.

Beautiful location
We had such a wonderful stay. This was our first time in Costa Rica and the owner as well as the property caretaker were very helpful before and during the stay helping us prepare and navigate our trip. The area is beautiful and there are a couple of small towns nearby to get groceries, souvenirs and to eat out. The coffee from the farm was delicious. I highly recommend renting a car with 4 wheel drive to handle the ups & downs of the road. We will definitely be back.

Wish I could have stayed longer!
Fantastic experience. Just perfect. The property, as stated, sits on a coffee farm, and is surrounded on all sides by lush vegetation. I kept thinking it really was as close to paradise as I'll ever see. Kim and Michael were excellent hosts, very prompt with communication, and understanding when I experienced some major travel delays. Jose, the caretaker, was also incredibly helpful, knowledgable, and friendly. The property had everything we needed to prepare meals, make coffee, and keep some groceries refrigerated. Staying in this VRBO, I felt I was as close to nature as I could possibly be, while still enjoying the security and convenience that any mass-produced dwelling would have. A big plus for me is that the construction and overall design were all sustainable. The solar power and on-demand hot water never left us wanting for anything, and we weren't misers with either. The neighborhoods and towns surrounding the property were all a very quick drive, or walkable. We found everything we needed at local markets and restaurants/sodas. During our stay, we went to Jaco, for a day of "jungle adventures," stayed there that night, and hit the beach the next day. It was a reasonable drive, and that was also a great time, but though we stayed in a cute little "boutique" hotel, we both found ourselves wishing we were "back on the farm." If you're on the fence, book this one. It was a dream come true. Thanks again for sharing this property with us.

Spent 2 nights here during our honeymoon. It’s a quaint little area and was really cool to stay on a small coffee farm. Jose was great and it was a great location close to Poas Volcano, La Paz Waterfall and close to San Jose. Highly recommended if you are looking for an authentic experience.

Quite Getaway
Property was beautiful and unique. If you are looking for a quite getaway in a beautiful location this is it. Everything you need is provided and the host is very accommodating. I definitely recommend doing some star gazing at night and check out Poas volcano and La Paz waterfall Gardens.

A magical place in the Poas countryside
This property is a very special place and one not to be missed if you want an enchanting country getaway or base in the Poas area. The building has glass windows all around which allows sunlight to stream in from sunrise to sunset. Lounging on the bed with the sun streaming in the morning was lovely and we could birdwatch without getting out of bed due to all the pretty flowers just outside that attracted birds. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to make a meal and access to the washing machine was great. The bamboo flooring was warm on your feet and felt luxurious. Jose showed us around the coffee plantation and shared lots of information about the property. His warmth and genuine friendliness made the stay so enjoyable. We bought coffee gown on the farm itself and can’t wait to share it with friends. The location is a bit tricky to find the first time. Ignore google maps directions which tell you to turn left on Calles Liles. outside of San Pedro de Poas. It takes you to a back (west)!side of the property where there is no access. Find Camiones Hermanos Peraza on google maps and go past there to Super Zamora store (left side at an intersection)!) and turn left and follow the rest of instructions on the site. There is a small sign for Rio Coyote by a blue wall and turn left onto a dirt road and follow the directions. I recommend arriving by day if at all possible. Off the beaten track a bit and luxurious and rustic all at once. Hope to return again one day for longer. (We stayed 4 nights) A slice of heaven!

What else can I say?
Everyone who has stayed here has said it all. Just being here was one of the of the highlights of our trip. Few AirBandBs in many continents compare to this house and this setting. Wish I were writing a book because I would come here for months and months. I do think the directions could be clearer. We came in from Samara on the west coast. Had no trouble getting to San Pedro de Poas, but took us a another hour being lost to finally get to the house. We thought the soccer field - of which you actually go by five or six- Perazo Hermanos Camiones and Zamora market were just outside of town, but they definitely are not. You have to make a right turn on one of of the roads outside of town and then go a few kilometers uphill to get to them. It would have been extremely helpful to have had this information along with a description of where to turn- I think Restaurant Marillo or something like that. The best thing to do is to program your GPS to Peraza Hermanos. Unfortunately ours was cutting in and out and no one in town had any idea of where we were going. But as they say in the sausage business, “Once you chop the meat, the rest is easy.”

The building & gounds were well care for. The kitchen was adequate for our needs. The washer was excellent. The only thing we did care for was the short drive to Rio Coyote. We master it by driving slowly & never hitting the gas. We agreed by Jose & was very help.

Absolutely wonderful experience
I stayed at this property with my husband, my 8-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter and we had an amazing time. The owner ensured that Jose was available upon our arrival to help guide us to the property in case we had any trouble finding it since we arrived well after dark. The provided directions as well as the GPS location that she provided proved to be enough and we arrived without issue. Jose was ready for us and gave us a quick tour of the facilities. There is a book in the bamboo house that also guides you through the property as well as provides recommendations on sights and restaurants in the area. We did visit a few of the recommended sights and restaurants and were not disappointed (Poas Volcano, Los Chorros Waterfalls, Grecia, the local soda (Bomba I believe, which was the best in all of our other soda visits across the country). Since there were four of us two of us slept in the bamboo house and two in the lofted apartment. Both are equipped with all the basic necessities and then some. The bamboo house is such an amazing building with beautiful views of the coffee farm and such a gorgeous design. We made full use of the kitchen and were happy to find it stocked with some basic necessities such as oil, spices, and a wide variety of cooking utensils. I cannot come up with adequate words to describe how serene the property is. We coordinated a time for a quick tour of the farm with Jose and were delighted with the experience. It was very interesting to learn about the coffee process as well to pick various fruits from the trees on the farm. Jose is an excellent host and guide; polite and helpful. We didn't have a need to further use his services but it was nice knowing he was available if needed and he did check in with us once or twice after. We stayed for three nights and were very sad to leave but we left feeling more at peace than when we arrived. If I make it back to Costa Rica I will definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting Costa Rica.
