Great location!

We loved this place! The set up with the two different floors for the bedrooms and bathrooms was great! Things that would make this a five star listing would be: having beach chairs on property to use and more outlets or charging stations. Loved seeing the local alligator at the nearby pond and being able to walk to restaurants and shops!

Girls trip!

Traveled with girlfriends for a getaway. The house had plenty of room for a much larger group. The pool was steps away and the beach & shops were very close. We’d stay again!

Absolutely Wonderful!

My family and I stayed here and absolutely loved it! We were impressed right away with the location of the unit! It is so close to Coligny Plaza and the beach! We walked everywhere! We also loved how homey the place felt and the pool area in the back was beautiful! I spent every morning drinking my coffee at the table on the back patio admiring nature! The complex was very quiet and it was so nice to just have the patio and front screen door open! The breeze flew through the place!The owner, John, was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond! We appreciated that so much! Thank you!We would definitely stay again and probably bring more family with us next time! This time around it was just my husband and out two little ones (11 months and 2) but the unit can sleep and fit way more comfortably!

Art All Around

We had a wonderful time at Hilton Head. The area has tons of shops & art galleries. We went on several day trips to Savannah, Charleston, & Beaufort. Lots of historic tours. Our condo was in a great location & very quiet.

Great set up in a great location

This condo was perfect for us and our friends. The 2 master bedrooms plus the kids room with dual bunk beds, along with the top floor loft gave everyone the space we needed. Kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed. Location is perfect to walk to so many places in Coligny and we were able to walk to the beach as well.

Wonderful stay at great location

We had a blast at this place. Four adults, one preschooler, one infant. The location and walkability was perfect. The place was well appointed and plenty of space! The access to pool was especially nice being right outside the back entrance. Would definitely stay again.

Our annual vacation

Absolutely a beautiful place to stay. Location was the best, close to all the stores for shopping for groceries, and everything else. We had a small issue with the TV channels, I know most people don’t go on vacation for TV, but we talked to John and his suggestions were ok for us, he also followed up the next day. The place was very updated, beds and pillows were very comfortable. I’d recommend this to anyone.

Great location

The townhouse is clean and in a nice quiet complex with a pool. Being close to all the Coligny restaurants, shops and piggy wiggly was perfect. The beach is nice and a pretty easy 3-4 block walk or bike ride. Bike shop is a 4 minute walk away. Just rent some bikes and leave the car parked for the week.

A Must-stay!

What a great place to spend our spring break!! There was plenty of room for 9 of us, mostly adults, to spend time in the clean, beautiful indoors. But we didn't want to do much of that! The pool was well-maintained and never busy, even for spring break time. The beach was a quick walk away, and the Piggly Wiggly got lots of our business because it was so close and convenient, as were the shops and restaurants. We highly recommend this rental!

Excellent host and great location

3 level townhome with two full and one half bath. Property looks exactly like the photos, very nicely decorated. Home has lots of cooking utensils and everything you need. Host was quick to respond to any questions. Nice grill on the back patio and the condo pool is perfect. 10 minute walk to the most popular beach on the island. Bring a wagon and it’s easy to get all your stuff for the day back and forth. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect

My wife and I brought our combined family of seven for a week-long stay in June 2023. We had stayed at Coligny Villas in 2022, so we were already sold on the location. The unit was perfect for us—neat as pin, upscale modern decor, a well-stocked kitchen, and reasonably priced (which is an absolute necessity when planning a vacation for a large family). The owner was exceptionally responsive and all-around good host. Highly recommended, would/will book it again.

Great location

Great condo! Well appointed and location was perfect. If you have little ones, would recommend a baby gate as the stairs are a little steep. The only thing I would say negative (which wasn’t a big deal) the downstairs bathroom door doesn’t shut well and there’s no lock. Otherwise, I have nothing bad to say. John was quick to communicate and easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend.

Villa Stay

Our family enjoyed the 4 day stay at this Villa. Pool, beach, shopping and dining were close enough for easy walking. Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, eating area and den were adequate for the 9 in our group. Beds and pillows were comfortable and kitchen well equipped with flatware, dishes, glasses, wine glasses and cookware. We ran into one cleaning issue and the owners immediately addressed this with their cleaning crew. Suggestions: 2 coffee pots, at least 9 coffee mugs, barn door on half bath (needs proper closing for privacy)

Outstanding!

I’ve been coming to HHI for 15 years. We always stay in Forest Beach area. We have had 2 bedroom condos to 10 bedroom houses. This accommodated my sister and I and our families and there was enough space we weren’t crammed. The pool area is fenced in so to speak so you have to go through the condos to get there thus no one can get in from the outside. It’s very safe. Dishes are plentiful, couch was amazing. Within walking distance to the beach and coligny. Perfect.

Our first trip to HHI

The Decor was nice.The condo was located really close to the pool and that was very convenient with 2 young girls. The bedroom with bunk beds needs a ceiling fan or some other way to circulate air and could also use a TV. There was a floor fan in the condo but it needed to be used in the 3rd floor office/bedroom where my mother-in-law slept because that room was a little stuffy as well even with the additional air conditioner on the 3rd floor. We called and spoke to Andy about getting us another fan and he said he would see what he could do and that was it. Also it was a shame that all of the pictures in the condo of the owners and their family was of them in Antigua and not one of them at Hilton Head?? Overall it was a great vacation and our first trip to Hilton Head. We rented bikes and rode everyday...the 1st day we rode 8 miles and it was great family time. We enjoyed the food at One Hot Mama's! and it was nice to have Coligny Plaza so close, we went over there everyday.

Super Clean! Perfect Location!

This place is the cleanest condo we have ever rented! It is well supplied with all of your kitchen needs as well as some perfect touches of comfort such as cozy blankets to use while watching TV. The kitchen setup was convenient in that the trash could easily be taken out by using the kitchen “back door” right directly into the outdoor trash bins which were odor FREE. Our bikes could be stored into this trash bin area as well where a hose was also located to clean off sand before entering. My mother could not stop commenting on the unique decor in every room! It was so convenient to be supplied with ample bath towels and bed linens. The beds were very comfortable as well! The condo is nestled in a quiet area right in town. Only .2 mile walk or bike ride to the beach! The Piggly Wiggly is even closer! There was no need to use our car once we arrived! We had groceries delivered when we arrived and sent our teenagers to the store when we needed anything! Coligny Beach is one of the nicest beaches we have visited on the east coast. The tides are extreme which leaves for a long, flat, hard sand beach. Bikes can be ridden on the sand by the water, and we enjoyed playing all kinds of beach sports. The water was so warm and clean! The swimming pool is about 10 steps from the condo patio too! My niece absolutely loved her unique bedroom/office on the third floor. The third floor could get quite warm even with the added air conditioner unit. There is a ceiling fan and additional fans to use. We arranged sleeping arrangements for our family by placing people in bedrooms based on their temperature preferences to sleep. All in all everyone was pleased with their bedrooms! We are typically not kind of family who repeats vacations, but we all agreed that we would be happy to return to this exact condo next summer!

My wife and I are originally from Kingsport, TN and Winston-Salem, NC, respectively. I attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville while my wife attended Appalachian State University. We live in Charlotte, NC but love the beach! We bought this place in 2011 and completely remodeled and renovated it for not only our family, but for your family, to enjoy. We have made many great family memories in this cottage/villa. We have also enjoyed bringing both friends and family to Coligny Cottage. There are so many wonderful family things to do on this island and many of them are within walking distance of our front door.

When we bought this property, we did not realize at that time what a great and perfect location this is. We often come here and park our car and never get in it again until we are ready to go home.
