Dieses schöne Fachwerk-Kabine ist das ultimative Berg Wochenende bietet unglaubliche Ruhe und die einzigartige Gefühl, mitten in der Natur. Die Hütte (1800 ft2) ist modern mit 3 Schlafzimmern, einem Master-Loft und 2 Bäder, darunter eine große soaker Badewanne. Genießen Kochen und Essen in einer komplett ausgestatteten Küche mit einem Gasherd und Esszimmer, die bequem Platz für 6-8.

Gewölbedecken und einem Holz-Kamin sorgen für gemütlichen Komfort im Wohnzimmer. Oder genießen Sie einen Film und Unterhaltung im Medienraum in der voll entwickelten Geschoss. Direkt vor der Tür ist eine große überdachte Gewölbe Deck mit einem Gas-Grill-und Outdoor-Essbereich, die sich offen zu einem Jahr runde Feuerstelle im Freien. Wireless Internet, Sat-TV und eine Spülmaschine sind ebenfalls enthalten.

Von Wildnis auf allen Seiten und zu Fuß zum Blaeberry Fluss umgeben, ist die Natur direkt vor der Tür. Wanderwege im Überfluss auch einfach Uferpromenaden zu vollem Berg klettert. Während der Sommermonate bietet das Fluss Gelegenheit zum Kanufahren und Rafting. Im Winter genießen Sie die grenzenlose Schneeschuh-Gelände, Skifahrer Track-Set Langlaufloipen oder Schneemobil auf dem nahe gelegenen Kronland.

Die Stadt von Golden ist ein 20 Autominuten entfernt und bietet zusätzliche Erholung wie Skifahren, Wildwasser-Rafting und Paragliding. Auf der Suche nach epischen Skifahren und Snowboarden? Kicking Horse Resort und seine legendären Pulver sind nur 25 Minuten entfernt. Für Langlauffreunde, Morgendämmerung Berg verfügt über mehr als 30 km gespurte Loipen, die von Anfänger bis Fortgeschrittene. Goldene und Umgebung rühmen 5 Nationalparks in der Nähe für reichlich Abenteuer. Dies ist eine wahre Canadian Rockies Erlebnis.

Great for a Ski Vacation

We stayed here for a backcountry ski vacation. A good quiet place out of town. On the way to Roger’s pass, and not too far of a drive to the Icefields. The property was well equipped and Barb was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We would return to this property.

Cabin off the beaten path

Great cabin off the beaten path. The host was great and the property is beautiful. It is a bit of a drive to certain locations, but if you like being out in nature and not surrounded by lots of people, you’ll love this. House was clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Feel like a home away from home

Very quiet and peaceful property to enjoy away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Friendly and very interactive host. Easy to get hold and communicate with her. Definitely consider staying here again. Just missed a tower fan in the living area during the stay as it was too hot during our stay otherwise it was a wonderful experience.

Pleasant remote cabin

This is a nice well maintained lodge in a beautiful albeit remote location. The kitchen is well equipped and the house is thoughtfully furnished and decorated. The one thing that my family sorely missed was a washer/dryer. I think that for a house of this size in a remote location, a laundry would be a much needed addition.

Beautiful Getaway

Loved EVERYTHING about this place. It's fairly remote and allows you to just reconnect to nature. The outdoor patio was a dream, along with the lights and grill. The kitchen was well stocked. I'd absolutely stay here again.

Home Base for Rogers Pass Ski Trip

A group of four of us rented this house for a ski trip in nearby Rogers Pass. This was a great house for a group of our four. Spacious, yet still cozy with everything you need for a mountain stay, including a wood stove, back deck and mountain views. Barb was a great host who was easy to contact and super helpful. We would stay here again!

Perfect Escape

In the chaos of life and uncertainty of people, these days, this place was the perfect escape from it all. It was peaceful, remote, but still within 20 minutes of civilization. It was the perfect reset, reconnect and beautifully put together place. Barb was amazing, the cabin was wonderfully equipped with enough necessities for our guys weekend. Amazing.

Peaceful Getaway

Barb's place is amazing! Easily accommodates 4 snorers so we can't hear each other. Beautiful backyard for campfires, sun tanning, yoga, etc. Lots to do in the area. Golden is a beautiful town with a nice brewery. There is a 13km round trip hike to a waterfall with lots to see along the way. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Amazing attention to detail

Barb is fabulous! She is thoughtful in her communication with guests and has literally thought of everything. There is signage all throughout the cabin that helps guests make the most out of their stay. The decor is spectacular and makes you feel right at home. Our kiddos settled in instantly and even they had more they needed to stay entertained all week long. When we weren’t revelling in the splendour of the cabin, our family enjoyed the area based on all of Barb’s recommendations. From river rock collecting, bison ranch touring, mountain lake swimming, everyday was an adventure. In the early mornings, I even took a few mom moments and enjoyed my book in peace in the garden sitting area. It inspired me to take that feeling of tranquility home. On our first day, a bear ventured onto the property. With Barb’s warning, we knew we were in bear country and were able to scare it away for the whole week. Thank you Barb for a wonderful experience - we miss the cabin so much already! Count us in for future stays in the area - your piece of paradise is a must choice!

Getaway in the mountains

Spacious cabin in the mountains close to Blaeberry river. Nice backyard with fire place. We had an awesome time here, nothing was missing. Golden is the next town about 20 minutes away. Gravel road, so high clearance car is recommended but not a must have. Depends on the time of the year. Barb was a nice host looking after us.

Great secluded home

We very much enjoyed our stay at Barb's VRBO. The house was clean and nicely decorated with many pretty features. The yard is huge and the children enjoyed the trampoline and swing. Communication with Barb was great and she worked hard to make our stay relaxing.

Lovely family getaway

Perfect cabin and property for a family vacation. Cabin is well equipped and spacious. The yard is lovely with lots of room for the kids to play. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck and relaxing on the deck in the sunshine in the late afternoons following a day of exploring. Lots to explore and do in the area.

Fantastic mountain retreat

The perfect property for a short break in the mountains with our extended family. Beautifully clean and well-equipped cabin in a stunning location, with plenty of room for six of us (and beds to spare), and tons of things to do both indoors and out. Barb was a pleasure to deal with, with plenty of ideas on how to get the most out of the cabin and the local area. Our stay was over too quickly and we'd certainly like to come back again and explore the lovely Blaeberry valley some more.

I love the beauty and natural landscape Golden has to offer. I am an avid outdoor enthusiast that can't seem to get enough of the great outdoors! I can often be found out on my cross country skis. Or in the summer months I'll be out for a run, enjoying a hike or soaking in beauty of the Blaeberry River. In my work life I share my passion for health and wellness with others. I can often be found perusing the shelves of a local health store, sourcing local food, or puttering in my kitchen making delicious food with a glass of wine in hand!
