Good house with only few weaknesses
The house is situated in a closed property and has a fixed parking directly in front of it. The distance to the sea with its beautiful beach is short (800m) and also the city of Le Lavandou can be reached within a short walk. No necessity to drive and search for a car park, though.
The house was clean and the hand-over was organized without any problems, M. Rangel was even very flexible although we arrived very late because of difficulties on the road.
The kitchen was nearly complete, we only missed a 2nd bigger coffee cup which we bought on our own. All equipment worked fine, nothing to complain, either.
Only some smaller negative points which limit the overall rating from 5 to 4: The house is really small for a family (35 sqm, very low ceiling upstairs) and the two single beds too short for a 17y old teenager. But we managed to let him sleep on the couch. Also, we missed WiFi which is not available at all and we had to use mobile data roaming.
To be fair: None of these points was wrongly or ambiguously described, this is just a matter of how we felt with it.
The beach nearby is great but there is no possibility to take a hower or go to a rest room unless the sunbeds are rented (rather expensive). Finally, there are a lot of dogs around which bark even late and leave their outputs on the sidealk and on the walkway to the beach. Both is not a fault of the house or the landlord, just an unfortunate aspect of the destination.
