Eine rustikale und schöne Blockhütte mit herrlichem Blick auf den Lac Vieux Desert. Darüber hinaus gibt es moderne Annehmlichkeiten wie zentrale Luft, Kamin, WLAN, exzellenten Mobilfunkempfang, Satelliten-TV und moderne Geräte. Das Blockhaus verfügt über 1 Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss, ein Loft für 4 Personen und ein Schlafzimmer auf der unteren Ebene. Darüber hinaus gibt es zwei Badezimmer in der Kabine. Einer befindet sich im Erdgeschoss und der andere auf der unteren Ebene. Während Ihres Aufenthaltes werden Sie mit Sicherheit schöne Landschaften mit wenig Ablenkung von den Nachbarn sowie wilde Tiere genießen, die in der Gegend vorkommen, darunter Hirsche, Füchse und Weißkopfseeadler. Die Unterkunft verfügt über eine eigene Anlegestelle zum Schwimmen oder Angeln und eine Küstenstation, die auf Anfrage zur Verfügung steht. Perfect Summer Getaway

My family and I greatly enjoyed our week long stay at the property. Mike was an incredibly helpful and attentive host from booking to check out. The pictures on the website are recent but don't do justice to how nice this cabin truly is. We comfortably slept 6 people and two dogs in the cabin. The cabin had plenty of parking, was very quiet, secluded, and had a nice dock. The kitchen had all cooking utensils and dishware that we needed and it was very handy to have a dishwasher as well as laundry machines. All in all the cabin is walk in ready for anyone looking to vacation in the north woods.

Up North Getaway!

We stayed for two nights to attend a family birthday elsewhere. The house was clean and well appointed. The walk to the pier was longer then expected with a drop of about 75 vertical feet. There is a road that you can drive on down to the pier. Lakefront did not seem suitable for our grandchildren to swim, but great for a fishing getaway. The owner was very cordial and was prompt in responding to our questions.

Great Northwoods Cabin

This was definitely what we were looking for in a Lac Vieux Desert cabin. Modern, updated and clean with great owners and lake access. The owners communicate really well and follow up enough to make connecting with them completely comfortable if needed. Directions to the cabin were great and worked well for everyone. The cabin is awesome and the kitchen is one of the best with great cookware. Pictures and the website don’t convey just how well done it is. Someone has great taste and they’ve thought of most everything. The great room was the perfect gathering place and the downstairs living area made a good getaway from the noise for those work calls that tracked us down. Even seemingly simple things like having good towels and bedding and other essentials were well thought out and available. Some smaller things like outside motion censors and the dart board near the bar were also appreciated. We were on the Northern all week, so the fishing was awesome. Nothing like the Muskies on the walls or in the photos, but we were hitting loads of Northern each time out and had fun. Even had time for a quick trip to Bond Falls. The cabin was easy to find from the lake and the boat lift, outdoor fire pit and grill all worked out well. Look forward to coming back soon.

Gorgeous Getaway!

The property is a sizeable 3-story residence set on a hill that overlooks the shorefront. The cabin is built with large timbers, and beautiful stone, with slate and tile floors. It is set on a hill at the end of a secluded drive. It is very well built and comfortable. The owners were more than prompt to address any questions we had and gave clear and concise directions and answers. The owners can fish and give good advice on where to find them. We were able to catch lots of fish. Perch, Bass, Sunfish, Bluegill, and Pike. The lake seems to be abundant with panfish and pike/musky. This was a wonderful place to stay for a family getaway! We saw Deer and lots of other wildlife, The owners are great hosts and we hope someday to come back! Thank you!

Lake life at its best

We spent the week over the Fourth of July here and it was so much fun. We had a lot of family and 3 kids, every person had a bed and was comfortable. The place was beautiful and had just about everything we needed. Mike checked in a couple times to make sure we had everything and was great to work with. Weather cooperated every day but the 4th so we missed out on the Phelps fireworks. We went to Bond Falls and spent the rest of the time on the lake. We didn’t want to leave, but we will be back again! Thanks Mike and Coreen!

Log home perfection

Gorgeous hand hewn log home perched over gorgeous view of lac vieux desert, can’t see your neighbors. All things northwoods cabin, fish mounts, fireplace, Mike couldn’t be more responsive or courteous, I highly recommend!

Coreen and Mike reside in Wausau Wisconsin, but the land on which the cabin sits has been in Mike's family since 1977. Mike spent his childhood during summers and weekends fishing on Lac Vieux Desert.
