THE CONDOR'S NEST - cozy loft downtown Florence

Welcome to THE CONDOR'S NEST!
This unique LOFT is made of the slices of a TREE. It's situated in a characteristic street in the Santa Croce area, downtown Florence, next to Sant'Ambrogio, its beating heart of culture. This romantic loft can host 2 guests on a comfy memory mattress and offers lots of details: self-check-in, WiFi, SmartTV, sheets and towels, washer, microwave. You can cook in the fully equipped kitchen and as soon as you step out, you find artisans, bars and typical trattorias.

THE CONDOR'S NEST is a unique 15 square metres open space, situated on the second floor without elevator in a characteristic street of Florence, next to Sant'Ambrogio, its beating heart of culture.
The LOFT and its stairs are made of a single trunc of a tree, creating a small, romantic space where we prepare your bed on a comfy double memory mattress. Perfect for nature lovers! As you enter the NIDO DEL CONDOR, you find a fully equipped kitchen and living area with table and chairs where you can cook and enjoy your dinner.
Lots of comfy details like WiFi, Air Conditioning, Self-check-in, security door, guide book, washer, microwave, Smart TV, make you feel at home.
Coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil and salt are always available.
The bathroom with shower has a sanitrit wc, so we kindly ask you to only throw toilet paper.
Bed sheets and towels, as well as bathroom essentials, are always provided.
ATTENTION!! The stairs to the loft are steep and there is not much space in height up there. Just let yourself sink into the comfy mattress and enjoy a movie on the Smart TV :)

You can do a self-check-in, so you are free to arrive even very late. You have access to the entire apartment and you can enter and exit freely with your keys. There is also a small storage room with umbrella and more chairs.
Free WiFi is accessable in all areas.

For a self-check-in, you will find your keys in a lock box on the left of the entrance. We left some notes for you in the apartment (e.g. how to use a moka :D) and we are always available on the phone.

The apartment is situated on the second floor close to Sant'Ambrogio area, the beating heart of Florence's culture with lots of bars, artisan shops and typical tuscan restaurants. All sights and museums can be reached by foot and the Sant'Ambrogio market, where you can enjoy typical products, is very close by.

WASH AND DRY
there is a coin wash and dry in via dell'Agnolo 21 rosso, 2 minutes walking

FOR YOUR KIDS
There is a playground in our street and Piazza d'Azeglio is at an 8-minute-walk. You can find a carussell there and play basket and football, too!

WINE TOUR
Our private driver will be happy to bring you to the oldest wine castle in Tuscany in the Chianti area!

Lucca: 1 hour 20 minutes by train
Siena: 1 hour 30 minutes by bus

PARKING
Our guests get a discount at Garage Bargello in Via Ghibellina 170r, at a 5 minute walk from Nido del Condor. The garage also registers your car, so you can enter the residential area, the ztl. The price is 30 euros for 24 hours for our guests. You can also park at Villa Costanza for 7 euros for 24 hours and take a tram directly from there to the center.

TRAIN STATION
From both train stations, SMN and Campo di Marte, it's a 20 minute walk.

FLORENCE AIRPORT
From the airport, you can take a taxi. It should be about 30 euros. You can also take a tram and then walk 20 minutes.

PISA AIRPORT
From Pisa airport, you can take a bus or a train. It's one hour to get to Florence train station from there.
