Sie sind am Strand! Schwimmen, schnorcheln, surfen oder einfach nur am Strand oder am Pool entspannen! Genießen Sie die natürliche Schönheit von Kauai! Es ist alles nur wenige Schritte entfernt!

Ihre zweite Etage, Ocean View Lanai, liegt nur 300 Fuß vom Meer entfernt im sonnigen South Shore Poipu-Gebiet von Kauai, der „Garteninsel“. Sie werden von den Wellen des Ozeans und den Passatwinden, die durch die Palmen im angrenzenden Prince Kuhio Park flüstern, in den Schlaf versetzt. Der Blick aus dem Schlafzimmer ist 180 Grad, Meer zu Berg. Die Atmosphäre hier ist klassisch hawaiianisch, sanft und entspannt.

Zwei Strände sind jeweils drei Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und bieten geschütztes Schwimmen und Schnorcheln mit Schildkröten und Fischen im Riff sowie Surfen in PK's, Centers und Acid Drops am Außenriff. Viele weitere Strände und Surfspots befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. In der Nähe befinden sich alle Poipu und Koloa Restaurants, Golfplätze, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Dienstleistungen. Andere Attraktionen von South Shore Kauai sind nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt. Verpassen Sie nicht das Beach House Restaurant auf der anderen Straßenseite, das für die herrliche Aussicht auf den Sonnenuntergang bekannt ist.

Wert! Dies ist eines der bestgehüteten Geheimnisse für Mietwerte in der Region Poipu. Unsere wunderschön eingerichtete Eigentumswohnung mit einem Schlafzimmer wurde kürzlich komplett mit neuen Möbeln eingerichtet. Es verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett im Schlafzimmer mit Meerblick, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, einen Essbereich, ein Bad, eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner sowie ein Wohnzimmer mit Gartenblick. Haustiere sind NICHT erlaubt, Rauchen verboten. Die Gründe sind üppig angelegt und verfügen über einen Pool, einen Grillplatz und einen überdachten Parkplatz. Prince Kuhio ist ein kleiner Komplex und wird von "The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook" mit einem "Solid Gold Value" ausgezeichnet.

Prince Kuhio and the Chickens!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this little gem of a condo. It backs on to Prince Kuhio park and you have a fabulous view of the sea, palm trees and sunrises from the bedroom.

Great property at a great location. Walkable to many things and if not walkable, short drive to everything on south/south east side of island. Be prepared to wake to the chickens ~4:30am daily!

Incredible in every way

From the view of the gardens just out the front door, to the view of the ocean out the back and everything in between, this place is breathtaking! The hosts have worked to think of everything one might need, including scuba gear & beach towels. As one other reviewer said, do not be concerned with the lack of air condoning. Once the windows are open, the ocean breeze keeps the apartment at the perfect temperature. Would heartily recommend this property, and would gladly stay here again. This is one of the best

Great space and location!

We loved this place! There was so much space for the 2 of us and the balcony with the ocean view and breeze was a dream! Highly recommend and would gladly stay here again. I was nervous about not having AC, but with the windows open, the wind kept it perfectly comfortable! We also didn’t have a car during our stay here but found the area to have plenty of walkable access to beaches, food, and shopping.

Great condo!

We really loved this condo. It had everything we needed for cooking some meals and enjoying the beach. We slept with the door open for a nice breeze and the condo was never too hot. The Rooster alarm clock does go off pretty early but we were able to go back to sleep most mornings. We would definitely stay here again!

Our bit of paradise

Second time on Kauai & at PK, & both booked through Vrbo. We love this condo complex for its location & quaintness. This place was lovely & well equipped with washer & dryer. The dishwasher was a suprise! The sound of the surf from the bed & the fountain from the couch reminded us we were in paradise.

Location, location, location

This little gem of a condo building is no longer a well kept secret. It is in the perfect place to snorkel, shop, dine out, swim, walk, view amazing marine life, and mingle with an awesome community of travelers. Doug and Patty are excellent hosts and conscientious property owners. You will not go wrong here.

Classic Kauai Experience

We would definitely stay again at this classic, roomy one-bedroom pad in Poipu. The spacious bedroom and living room have great air flow from the deck slider and the louvered windows. After staying for a few weeks without a kitchen or barbecue, we thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to grill on the high quality Weber located just down the stairs close to the room. We bought fish at Koloa Fish Market as well as from a roadside fisherman in Kalaheo. Sueoko's and the new Lawai Market were both great grocery shopping options. Eating out was great as well with Kaleheo Cafe, Big Monster Sushi, Craving Thai, 1849 House and Uncle Bobby's are a few of our favorites. We spent a LOT of time swimming, snorkeling, and surfing at the relatively uncrowded Poipu Beach. We also were fortunate to find Poipu Kai Tennis Club where we found ourselves playing more tennis than expected. Overall, just a great experience and value living on the south side of Kauai!

Convenient and Nice

I thought everything about this property was great. The only thing I would change is to have air conditioning. We happened to go during a heat wave and it was impossible to sleep with that kind of heat. Other than that, I loved this property. It was a great location to get to the beach, to get to all of our dive sites, traffic was less that other places and there was access to a close shopping center. I would recommend anyone who rents this property to use the underground parking though to protect the cars from bird poop. The birds are everywhere first thing in the morning and at dusk. The bird mess was unbelievable! However, the condo had everything we needed as far as dishes and utensils and beach gear. We loved using the balcony and it was nice to have a washer and dryer handy for our wet stuff. I would rent this property again but hope for cooler weather next time!

Nice, but

The location is very good but there were several glaring problems. 1- no ac 2- told it would sleep 4 but that is not true. The couch is not comfortable and the "futon" is a joke as far as sleeping is concerned. 3-The sun comes right in the bedroom at 5:30 or so and the unit desperately needs blackout curtains if you want to sleep past 5:30 am. We cannot recommend this unit until the above items are addressed. Now, it should also be noted that the unit was well stocked in all respects and the property is well maintained and the gardens are quite lovely. Best for two people assuming the corrections are made.

Airy, breezy, wonderful stay

We deeply enjoyed our stay here in Patti’s home!! The condo was very well-stocked with everything you could ever need—it made our home-cooking easy. There’s cooking oil, creamer for coffee, sugar packets, rice, a bunch of seasoning that guests have left behind but still usable, pots and pans and cooking utensils. Seriously well-stocked. There’s also sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, bug repellant which came very handy for our hikes and luau. The location of this condo is excellent! From the bedroom, you can see, hear, and smell the ocean breeze with great inflow coming through the condo making it a very comfortable stay for us. We were able to open up the huge sliding glass door for the breeze to come in. This was helpful! The king-sized mattress was comfortable. I woke up every morning feeling refreshed and ready to explore the island. We also had beach chairs, ice chest, and umbrellas along with beach towels to use. I would recommend replacing the beach mat and boogie board. They appeared tired and very used. :) We were also able to enjoy the refreshing pool and made some new friends. Easy access. Parking was easy also with plenty of spaces. The location of this condo was perfect. A quick drive to the shops, restaurants, and beaches. You could also easily walk to the beach and go for a morning jog. Words can’t really describe the appreciation we have for this condo and the location. We wish we could stay here the entire Kauai vacation of 9 nights—but we moved on up to Princeville which wasn’t all it’s cracked up to be. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. Just a few recommendations: It needs some easy updates like a new ceiling fan, some fresh paint. Otherwise a great stay!!

In 2008, we retired and moved to Kauai after vacationing in our Prince Kuhio condo for nearly 10 years. We are now able to make improvements and completed a re-model with new cabinets, appliances, granite countertops and carpet.
