Perfect in every way!
Let me start by saying that your flights to Germany were shocking this time and we got to Nuremberg with all of our luggage missing. After a sad little trip to the train station to at least try and get nappies for our youngest until our suitcases would show up, we got to Dijana's way before check-in.
Dijana and her husband immediately took us into their own home, made us delicious coffee, and gave our eldest snacks while we waited.
We then got to our rental flat and it was just perfect in every way. Stylish, clean, and with more amenities than you could ever wish for (there's even a Thermomix and a really very good coffee machine!) The washer-dryer in the bathroom was particularly helpful because.. travelling with small kids!
We came because it was my grandad's 95th birthday, and they were welcomed into the flat for the day. We enjoyed a beautiful bbq on the spacious terrace, and the boys loved playing outside.
The surrounding area is lovely as well, and you'll find some truly beautiful German gardens around the back, in the next street.
On the last night Dijana came upstairs to bring us chocolate for the boys and a bottle of wine for us to take home. Truly, I couldn't fault our hosts and we'd be glad to come back again if they'll have us! Thank you for everything!
